Long For You 2 (2018)

I just finished watching this drama and honestly if I knew it was only half subbed I probably wouldn't have started since I'm a canto speaker and know limited mando -- but thankfully I understood about 80% of what they were saying of the raw eps and used google photo translator for the rest and didn't give up lol.

I started watching because I liked the actress from her other drama About Is Love and I fell IN LOVE with Riley Wang from I Hear You (he's sooo cutee). After watching, I'm surprised to say I might have liked them in this drama more than the other 2 (just because FM was a bit less 'dumb' and ML was less cold and emotionless).

The beginning was kinda slow and boring and I didn't get hooked until like ep 6. Afterwards it was superrr cuteeee in all the moments when YG would always be there to protect XX and some of the lines YG says just melts my hearttt. At first I found the supporting characters' storylines boring but after they also get more interesting and add more to the plot. But some parts with the villain was confusing bc I didn't know why he did all those things (maybe it was bc I had no subs)?? Like was it just for money? How would it have helped his wife??

The time travel concept was pretty interesting and I liked that it actually had a plot with a villain and all so in all I really liked the drama besides some confusing parts and little things here and there that irked me (esp the ending omgg the ending was wack imo they should have ended it after their perfect day together in ep 23 bc although it did technically have a HEA, I wish they had it during the modern times arghh).

I would prob rewatch but just prob skip over the boring/slow parts. Also, there wasn't really much of a soundtrack but their intro song wasn't bad.

I hope more people watch this drama - maybe when it gets fully subbed - it seems so underrated! (if you liked About Is Love and I Hear You I think you would like this drama - esp if you're like me and is a sucker for romancee).
