i go back and forth between liking and disliking…

i go back and forth between liking and disliking Type - him calling Tar, hilarious. now he planning on confronting him at his school bleedin "go fight for ur man.." attitude makes me wanna applaud, considering how this started out. and all this hilariously while he is still fuming at Thran. but no ones gonna tell him to backdown from seeking justice - hard not to like him sometimes ****************************************************************************************************************************well i so didn't except Tar to react like that - what is going on with that kid. he was totally freaked out and yet standing his ground. confused and then that confrontation with Tharn which was OMO Type ur choking ur man, too ok showing ur dominant side and then after making his point - telling him "ur mine" he walks out. i couldn't help but laugh out loud - Type such a character. but his turning to Lhong made me cringe, cause the dude giving off major shady vibes and the way Type was drinking, i was so freakin worried. some of his looks seemed like he was setting Lhong up, to catch him in a lie or something. but the way he was drinking and how blind drunk he ended up, i doubt it. thankfully Lhong took him to Tharn and not somewhere else. cause dude shady as a MOFO (how sad Type telling Tharn he got a good friend in Lhong, let alone Tharn admitting "he's the best friend he ever had" - so so wrong, both of them). **********************************************************but this is the 1st ep, the 1st kissing scene, when they make-up that i felt the love, it moved me and gave me butterflies (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) even smiled in joy for them. until now, i just turned off and even skipped their "love making scenes" cause it was just meeh. to titillate and as the majority were eating it up - i guess it did it's job and made this BL and the mains the icons they r to some. **** **************************************************************************************************************************************** Lhong not wasting time, that meet-up with the "scout" totally fishy, what with his sudden 'flat' that conveniently makes him late. in come Tar with some random dude and that whole scene was so far-fetched and sorry unbelievable - is Tar a kid to believe some random stranger, he was sent by his brother to meet in a hotel? what he Not have a cellphone?!? but in comes Tharn to the rescue and why he leading Tar into the room?!??? the only logical ones in that scene, where the women one was worried enough to come out and indicate she gonna call for help, while the other more worried wanted to pull her friend back in the room and avoid getting involved (‾◡◝) and Tharn instead of calling Tum ASAP sits around waiting for Tar to wake/cool down whyyy?!?? of course Type got a message from Tar, while Lhong also pop's up. one bad cliché after another. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************but the disturbing thing were the words coming out of Tar's mouth what has Lhong done to him or made him do since whatever started this whole mess a yr ago. i shudder to think how evil that innocent looking f*ckedhead really is, and that smirk at the end after the blow-up is the validation my gut feelings needed he behind everything wrong in Tharns love life. ***** ****************************************************************************************************************************************kept wishing the break-up was a ruse to throw off Lhong , but nope Type Very serious and i kinda get his POV even though most relationship's there issues to work-out and get-over nothing smooth sailing the fact they men doesn't matter. like Tharn promising never to hurt - he can't - not logical. and sadly his ex's have been a major hurdle in their 'ship' cause he trying to to hurt their feelings and respect them even if he doesn't love them - as their intent never is pure it's backfiring and he has ended up where he is on his knees begging sad. even though Type's parting words make me think maybe i wasn't wrong and this just a ruses to convince Lhong... time will tell - *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the ending (⊙_⊙;) so at last the cat is out of the disgusting bag - but i didn't get why Tar expose Lhong before getting those clips. he not a straight forward person that one can trust - who says he wont go back on his word? i for sure wouldn't mess with someone as cray as he is - and he for sure crazy - bunny boiler crazy. he calling them stupid cause they were easy to manipulate, while he mad hatter bonkers, there nothing but a padded room that will help in his case.

Acting was the only thing carrying me through this....

**Long story short: this story was pretty bad. I didn't finish this show. I just couldn't. I stopped at ep 11/12, because I was tired, and I just didn't feel like going on. I know I was so close to the end, but maybe I'll go back to it later? Probably not :/ This series is kind of exasperating, and most people can look past all the other stuff because they're mainly just here for the main couple and cute cuddly things,,, but bro, I'm just tired....Now, before you think I'm gonna shit on your favourite show, let me first disclaim that this story wasn't bad in the TERRIBLE way, it was bad in the "THIS-IS-PRETTY-CONTROVERSIAL-AND-ALSO-IM-TIRED" way. This review is MOSTLY SPOILER-FREE, but there are spoilers at the end, so I'll be sure to warn you :")------> REVIEW START<------- First off, the story starts pretty questionably (as all BL dramas do, because why not) with Tharn, our main guy, doing some questionable things to Type, the main character........and then the series just kinda sweeps it under the rug and it's never spoken about after that. Now, besides this, Tharn is an unproblematic KING for the most part, until....he's not, and I just get tired. Now my main gripe with this series, besides the #controversial things they got happening here, that they just DON'T address, is the fact that 1. some things just don't add up/make ZERO sense, but it's NEVER looked at and 2. i just got so frustrated with it, and it's completely turned me off—so much so that I simply don't want to continue. The series definitely needs to address a few things, namely 1. San (yeah, he's a good guy i guess? in the present at least. But also, sis is very problematic and what he did to Tharn was creepy...)2. Miscommunication trope. If you're not a fan of this trope, try your best not to get a heart attack from this show because it's EVERYWHERE. ALL THE TIME. Bro, I just don't have the patience for this? it's not to an unbearable degree, but they weren't necessarily pulling their punches with it either. 3. ---------WHAT EVEN WAS THE POINT OF TYPE'S SEXUAL TRAUMA?????!?!?! HMMMMMMMM????? QUE????? It's never addressed????? I don't want to spoil, but man you'd think this would also include some level of Type coming to terms with the fact that he was molested as a child, and learning to come to terms with himself, his body and not hating being touched by a guy....but he just completely gets over it? It was like he did a full 180 (**dua lipa emerges from underneath my bed...**) I was like LOLOLOLOLOLOL alright then I guess this is happening now?? Bishes don't got time for this we're on a 12 episode time crunch, ain't nobody got time for you overcoming your psychological traumas,,,, just jump headfirst and it'll be totally fine. Right. Crazy thing is, after this his trauma is just---never---looked at----ever again....hmmm.....Why do i feel like this whole sexual trauma thing Type's got going on was just a convenient plot device used to justify Type being homophobic because ----**sexual tension***. hMM...I wonder.......Anyways, those **extremely MINOR** gripes out of the way,,,.. :)What I did like about this show was:1. Chemistry. The actors did a great job at actually seeming like they were in love, or at least attracted to each other. At times it was like a lil bit stiff, but that's just because I'm hypersensitive towards details like this. They were pretty believable, and I could tell they must have put some actual effort into being comfortable with each other. 2. oh my gosh I loved P'Techno. No is great. SO great. Every time he entered the frame I never skipped. This actor was great at expressions, and his interactions with Type always crack me up! :DThere's nothing else I can think of to give props to. I'm kinda conflicted over whether or not I like Type or Tharn. I've definitely grown a soft spot for Type, especially since he's come a long way. But this couple started out as a pretty generic case of "I'm only gay 4 u/bro no homo/i hate gays!!!!!1....." to **attempt at deep relationship n understanding to** to **did you forget this is a soap opera** kinda thing. I'm tired now. Overall, this show could have actually been even better, but maybe it wasn't meant to be. I think a little bit more patience in the writing, and less MISUNDERSTANDINGS and vengeful exes (scorned hoes/jealous unrequited love) would have been the icing on the cake. But hey---this is TV. Sensationalism is what we need. Drama. Sus. And Other may love that, but I think I've had enough of that from watching k-dramas.. :")Would I recommend Tharn Type to anyone? Sure, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list, that's for sure.FINAL SCORESActing - 7/10Story/Plot - 4/10Characters - 6/10 Rewatch Value - 3/10 (bro I don't wanna go through this again. I'd just specifically skip to all the scenes that DON'T rub me the wrong way, while ignoring the ones that came before...and that's not sexy)Overall : 6.5/10Regular, sprinkled with some #controversy, could be better, No and Type are best boys.

Switch

Didn't see that coming. Glad there's another episode. What you thought you knew goes sideways. There's some serious high jinks going on.

Two Stars

Aaand... they're still toxic. This is the show I love to hate.At least Tar didn't look as much like a child. The sex scenes are hot, but not enough to justify the characters. Maybe someone will make a compilation.
