they really did the best with the added side characters tbh, usually they focus so much on the main that it feels flat, but here they gave them each enough background to feel real and I was as invested with them as the mains.
even that random guy everyone sat on was beneficial (I laughed until I cried at that) xD
the movie had enough suspense that it never got boring, and even though it's only 1 hour 40min it still delivered a solid story that puts 2hour movies to shame.
my favorite part was of course the female lead, I love "strong" fls and that means a well written fl, she was smart, funny and amazing.
the ml was the cute kind, he was sloppy but still competent and the little girl was a chip of the old block xD
I never rewatch stuff but I'd love to rewatch this with family or friends, so overall this will join my favorite movies list ❤

JUST. PERFECT.
This movie has the right amount of each and every genre, you get a handful amount of action, but you also get the perfect amount of romance and comedy. This movie is beyond my expectations!!! I never expected it to be THIS. GOOD. and I’m not even overreacting :PI’ve never really seen Uhm Jung Hwa as an actress before, but I’m amazed by her acting skills. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie with this much popular actors. There’s Kim Nam Gil as a cameo, there’s Lee Sang Yoon, Lee Sun Bin, Park Sung Woong, Jung Man Sik, and many more familiar faces in the movie! And they all acted excellently throughout the film.
What I loved about the storyline here is that all side characters became useful eventually. All the characters in the movie (even the most unimportant characters, like the stewardess or the airplane passanhers) didn’t really shout for help, but instead they helped the main characters take down the antagonist. There’s a loooot of plot twists and it wasn’t too much. All the comedic plot twists are exactly what I needed, unexpected, but resolved in a super excellent way.
Overall, an excellent family-comedy-action-romance film I totally recommend all of you! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A must watch
Okay! Madam is a good family movie one could watch with his or a family to enjoy their afternoon or evening together. It hilarious, fun and action all packed in one.The cast are really into their role. They portray their characters like it is their real self. The ost is okay and on point.
The story line is unique in its own way.
What i dislike was that the story could have gone for longer minutes cause they could do more.
Hope it becomes a four movie franchise. Like next time they would be going to another place and bam!

Very entertaining fun spy/agent spoof.
The comedy of a, seemingly, middle age, average, housewife who turns out to have kick-ass martial arts skills is part of the fun. Her mild-mannered husband contributes his computer skills and voila a potentially dangerous plane hijack has suitable chaos.
Lots of fast and furious fighting utilising whatever comes to hand in the confines of an airliner. Baddies and plot twists, cameo big name stars and a cute, feisty daughter contribute to the plot.
The pacing is good and I did not ever get the sense this is to be taken seriously but it was kept within the realms of, possibly, believable. Very likeable actors doing a great job and the FL carried the scenes.
Family fun for all ages with lots of laughs.

When Mom is a Super Mom
The acting by Jung, her husband, her ex partner and most of all her daughter is fantastic. Uhm Jung shows and movies are always good so this one did not disappoint me. Special mention to the funny antics of the male flight attendant. The comedy in this movie is really an LOL level. I was smiling, giggling and laughing. A great watch. Wife appears to be ordinary married to an idiotic husband and raising a daughter who is a brat that will not allow anyone to bully her. My review might be biased cuz I'm a fan of Uhm Jung Hwa and Lee Sang Yoon. This action romantic comedy feels like a pill that released my stress. I laughed a lot! Idk how many times my mind blown away with the plot twists, yes i added 's'! The only thing that disturb me is that the storyline could be written better. Apart from that, the musics, the acting, everything was superb!A good movie to binge watch during the wekeend + it has many popular actors too. You might be surprised to see Park Sung Woong acted as cheeky geeky cute husband ?, not the stoic serious bad man as he always had.

A funny and unexpected movie
Hello!lets start with my story of how i found this movie and why i decided to watch,
i was casually eating some food and then i thought to myself maybe i should watch some comedy and i found this movie on my the website i usually watch my dramas and movies from so ye and i just decided to watch it for fun (idk why im so honest about this) anyways i usually dont read the description for a movie idk why maybe its because i'm lazy but maybe not.
i think this movie is a casual action, comedy movie for one family night ya'know
story:
the movie starts with a little back story of the main character (i was a little confused at first) then we are going back to our time where the movie basically shows us the main character and their struggle (money) and out of nowhere we see how the family (our main characters) going for a trip, after that everything starting to happened in the plane. and blah blah blah
the story in my opinion is good and nothing to complain about but i couldn't see myself laughing in this movie (maybe there weren't a lot of comedy scenes for me) even tho this movie is a comedy one right? but its okay

Fun family friendly action comedy!
This is a silly family friendly action comedy that was exactly what I was in the mood for. Because this is geared towards families, you'll have to adjust your lens a bit as the characters come off a bit clownish and the tone a bit bouncy. If you don't, you'll most likely feel like this is stupid movie. There are some fun action scenes, but they do feature knives and guns so may not be appropriate for really little kids. I enjoyed the humor that Park Sung Woong brought to the table and found Uhm Jung Hwa likable and bright. Perfect Action Comedy
Directors should take note of the good points of this film, because this is how you engage an audience. I feel like every age group will enjoy this. from my younger cousins to my grandfather, everyone in my family was laughing at loud at the comedy scenes and gripped at the acgion sequences.I had no expectation going into this and didn't even plan to do a review but I just had to recommended this to y'all. This just shattered my favorite korean movie list!!
Story was engaging, we follow a family of 3 to their trip to Hawaii and how it went wrong. The shift from comedic to action was natural that you wouldn't even notice it. The film had 100mins in screen time but never onced was bored or checked the time remaining.
Characters, were perflectly balanced from our protagonists to antagonists. We had no idea what their intentions were at the beggining but it starts to unravel as it progresses. Acting, was also amazing for everybody, which I expected seeing how this film had a veteran lineup of actors/actresses. Also there's a cameo that you should look out for, where it actually moves the plot and not meaningless.
The thing that made me appreciate the movie is the con'ections of our leads and how it ties up all the loose ends and overall was a satisfactory film.
The action sequences, was suprising to say the least. Because when we think of action comedy, directors seem to focus on the comedy aspect. But here the action is as good and that is because of the amazing performance of the actors/actresses who worked hard for the role.
Ending, at first I was worried that this good of a film will be unable to finish strong but it did. Satisfactory and couldn't ask for a better ending.
Overall, you can watch this yourself, with family, with friends, etc. Because honestly speaking this is for everyone. I dont think anyone wouldn't enjoy this, because there's variety of genre that can be seen here. Furthermore it's a light watch so it's going to be a good mood booster!

Fun movie
This was a fun, easy to watch, movie. It was silly and campy, perfect for an hour or so of mindless entertainment. The actors all did a good job. The premise was good and there were a couple of things that actually surprised me. I would have to say that I especially loved the familial relationships - the relationship between the husband and wife, and their love for their daughter. Then, the comedy - what fun. The running gags throughout: the guy that slept through the whole thing, the man that everyone sat on, etc. I'm not usually one for slapstick comedy, but it worked here because it was in smaller doses, interspersed with some action.Was this review helpful to you?

Another biased review from me to you.I hadn't heard of this movie before, but when I saw an article about a possible sequel I thought it looked interesting and I decided to check it out and damn, I am so glad I did! This movie has a bit of everything: sweet family dynamics, action, comedy, and super badass FL, a dorky yet badass ML, an adorable feisty daughter (sumo wrestler, lol), and a whole bunch of other characters that are just hysterical! I loved every character and didn't think there was a single misstep in the actors chosen. If they do a sequel I hope they find a way of bringing everyone back. Would it be their trip to Disneyland? ? Anyhow, if you want some laughs, some action, some sweet moments, watch this. I think you'll like it.

Are you ready to fly to Hawaii?
This is really perfection from the story to the execution to the characters' chemistry. It's started with a bang and it just keeps getting better until the very end. It's a perfect feel good family movie on a weekend. I love the balance of comedy, action and drama altogether. The story didn't focus much on the technicalities of 'secret agent operations' but much more on the character's life and emotion which made the movie very relatable. I love the twists of the movies as well. There's a lot of unexpected twists so you should watch out for it.I also love the casts. I know them mostly from other shows but I love seeing them together on this wholesome film. Uhm JungHwa really made Magnolia come to life. The chemistry among the other characters like the flight attendants is also very smooth. I really love the part where all of them became one team having one goal of saving the plane. Also the husband. I cannot. The revelation. I don't want to spoil anything but I'll give a clue. It's all because of the husband's 'grand' plan. Minor flaw though is the scenario about the plane. After everything that happened, it's impossible to land a plane that calmly after losing a door. I watched too many Air Disaster episodes that I cannot overlook that fact. It's just a minor detail though that didn't affect the overall greatness of this film.
Shoutout to Kim NamGil who slept throughout the movie. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I understood it right, he was supposed to be the NIS agent.
Overall, this is highly recommended. It was so underrated and more people should watch this movie. It's perfection.
