The Confidence (2020)

Same writing\directing team, same genre, same ML and FL. Unexpected Falling is just as good, if not even better, so if you liked The Confidence, you'll like Unexpected Falling as well.

A bit similar as the FL in MLM (My Lethal Man) have doppelganger. Where as in Confidence ML have a plastic surgery.
In both the dramas the ML is having the hatred towards FL.

It reminded me in a way, because the ML is dangerous and creepy but somehow deeply in love with the FL. She is trying to escape, but has to play along to some point.

Clever and badass female lead (that is on the good side) and male lead is the antagonist. Both are crime/police and suspense genre.

The male lead has complete control over the female lead. The difference is that ilmp’s female lead doesnt clap back like the confidence one.
Male lead is a psychopath, obsessed, jealous and narcissistic whatever the definition you can lut it on

Obsession level ???

If you're loving Fl x Villain interaction in Strong Girl Namsoon, then The Confidence is for you.

Both have electrifying chemistry between them. Tho in Strong Girl Namsoon there's a Ml as well but in later there's no Ml and it's a Cdrama! But highly recommend!!

If you like toxic love, then The confidence is something you will like. Mind you, its not really a romance drama, more suspense and intrigue, but there is one sided love where ML (played by Peng Guan Ying) becomes obssessed with FL, and forces her to be by his side, while she works to get him caught by the police. ML is a controlling, possessive, abusive character. Great chemistry, the leads are both very good looking. I literally couldn't stop staring at ML. This actor is just so hot! And the acting is superb.

And if you can't get enough of the 2 main leads, watch 'Unexpected Falling', both actors are leads here as well and there are many references to the Confidence. Watching Unexpected falling, I felt like I was watching an unofficial sequel to The confidence.
