A new character, Lushiano, is introduced in this episode. Lushiano is Takane's University friend but seemingly has a sour relationship with him. He takes an interest in Hana, but it later turns out to be a test to detect Hana's perspective of Takane. In the latter half of this episode, Takane, Lushiano, Hana and her school friends go to a hot spring where a major truth about Lushiano and Takane's relationship is revealed.
