Isn’t it just so disappointing when a show has so much potential and then it suddenly all goes down hill? I was like wow, this show isn’t too bad, it was easy to watch, and I really wanted it to keep going because it was good but then it’s pretty over the top and over dramatic which is not a big deal because that’s what you sign up for but it’s also so far fetched and ridiculous like so many flashbacks are pointless. The FL is cool, she’s not a bad actress but her character was so cool and then she went soft on me. The ML lead, could use some more lessons but he’s okay, but how did he go from having a girl phobia to having a one night stand literally all in one sitting? Also the best friend in love with the actress, dude was wild; like chill out my kind sir. Between the back story, like her dad and her sister and the boys parents, just the melodrama of the family, the mystery but the random things in one, it really kills the mood. Don’t get me started on the dramatic parts because I’m like “yikes” but it’s not a terrible show. Definitely a filler show that you have to enter without expecting much at all. I wouldn’t rewatch it but I don’t regret watching it at all.

Wanted to love it, but the ending was SO unsatisfying

I decided to give this series a chance in part because the premise sounded interesting, but more so because of the male lead. His acting in Le Coup de Foudre was vibrant and natural, and I thought it'd be interesting to see him play a completely different role.

In general, the actors all did a pretty good of bringing their characters to life. The male lead did a good job, though I will say he made his character a lot quirkier than the typical cold CEO role normally is.

Based on the first half, I would've given this a high rating. However, it starts to drag halfway through, and the last third of the series was a complete mess. The sudden turn of events near the end didn't make any sense either, and it completely ruined the storyline.

I decided to watch this because of Wang Zhuo Cheng, who I really liked in the untamed, and I’m glad I did! I think the best thing about this drama is the characters and their relationships. All of the characters have very distinct personalities, which made me want to keep watching. I especially liked long hao qian and yi ming jun, and their bromance.

Story: As a whole, I liked the story.

The other reviews I read before watching this had me gearing up for a really stupid, out of nowhere, turn of events. But the *thing* that happens at episode 20 is hinted at earlier in the series, so I don’t think the plot/writing is as bad as people are making it out to be. I mean it gets a bit cringe lol but it’s not as out of left field as I predicted. The shift in tone is kinda out of place but whatever. Also, though there were some tropes earlier in the series, i feel like they didn’t overstay their welcome and become tedious. However, this might not bother me as much as it could bother other viewers because I’m fairly new to this genre of show. Idk, I just wanted to offer my two cents on something a lot of people have been complaining about, take it or leave it.

Acting: as a whole, I really liked the acting in this series. I think all of the main actors did a pretty good job of expressing their characters’ emotions. I seldom thought that it was awkward or stiff. Even the side characters are charismatic and interesting.

Music: I thought it was fine. It wasn’t annoying or cheesy, and I liked the song in the opening credits.

Rewatch value: I think this would be pretty fun to rewatch. It’s pretty funny, there’s parts that actually got me laughing out loud. The romantic scenes between the main couples were also pretty cute. Also, it seemed pretty well produced.

Concept of drama is good ,starting was good but story connectivity was getting loose and loose with each passing episodes and ending is so disappointed .
It seems that last episode was complete in a hurry ....Not at all felt connectivity with characters and their so emotional sad story . Story start with fighting scenes but their expressions mess the scene then they connect with each other through her power and fall in love then she lost her power ,then again she got the power reveal the secret and drama over . So boring
But ending part of the drama i like it when thay all were altogether.

Happy ending.
So loose acting between the lead actor and actress ..
I like second lead couples more than first lead.

If you all r thinking that I am being crazy as I rated 10. But I swear, I am fully conscious. I actually started this with least interest but as I watched their first exciting and hilarious meet, I couldn't control to stop myself to continue it. And I completed this within 1 and half-day. (ofcourse, I didnt sleep that much as i was supposed to)

Second thing is that I loved how the drama was not very long/dragging nor very short . And how it was full of Romance, Humorous, Suspense equally, where-ever it was needed. And how it managed to show the lovey-dovey supporting couples too. Still, I felt the ending was not enough.

Third: the chemistry, I really wish that they do another drama together with same amount of chemistry. As a spectator, I could feel how the MLs loved each other.Even when there was a misunderstanding too.(though i cried too) .
I admit that chinese drama has an obsession with its mind-blowing fantasy. But HATS OFF to this particular fantasy. I really enjoyed this one.

Last but not the least, The OSTs!!!
As soon as I completed I downloaded 3 of its soundtrack ;) [memory life, forgotten memory & 100 apologies] I got a lot of obstacles to download as I couldnt find the site where I could download 100 Apologies but, my spirit was not weak. I somehow aquired it! hehehe... feel free to ask if anyone wants too...

So thats all my Buddies! Sorry for the looong review but I really wanted to show my love for this drama. and Thank you for giving ur valuable time to read.
I hope my review will enlighten the spirit of a true drama lover!!! And if u r in a dilemma thinking if u should watch or not, trust me, maybe U may not love it as much as I did. But surely U will not regret it!!!

Fighting! Add Oil! Jia You!!!

After finishing the entire drama, I would say that this drama is a pretty good one. How do I know whether it is a good one? Personally, I determine based on the kind of emotions that I've experienced while watching the episodes. There are many happy moments, funny moments, sad moments and stressful moments in this drama. I'm glad that this is not an all-sad nor all-happy drama as it makes it more meaningful to the audience. I appreciate how comfortable the actors and actresses were while acting together, and I can see a certain level of chemistry shared between them. This creates a comfort zone for the audience while watching it.
The casts are well-chosen in my opinion. I love An Ning's mother and grand father's interactions and conversations, it lightens up the atmosphere and it is funny most of the time. I do think Cecilia Boey did a great job in this drama as she was very natural and expressive with the emotions required. Both Cecilia and Eden was able to transition smoothly and distinctly when they're supposed, this allows us to see the intensity of the plot.
Moreover, the many meaningful conversations in the drama are quite relevant to living life.
So heads up, get ready for a funny, emotional and intellectual encounter with this drama!

“Walk into Your Memory” is a fantasy drama with melodramatic, comedic, and romantic moments. Although it is a fairly good drama, it lost momentum for a while and, because of a series of unfortunate events, it started to drag the romance storyline. The leading couple did well bringing their characters to life but there is something missing during their romantic moments. From around episode 20 and on, the story takes upon clichés of misfortune and misunderstandings that are wrapped up to quickly on the last episode. The drama has a nice happy ending, but, for such a steadfast and enduring love among the leading couple, the drama doesn’t deliver a “great” finale. Even then, the drama is entertaining; something nice to watch while waiting for a great one. Enjoy it!

Okay, so main bromance in the show, LHQ and YMJ. They are so adorable together. They live together, tell everybody how beautiful their bestie is, are there for each other in true times of crisis, have secret handshakes and call each other darling. Literally the cutest. YMJ, portrayed by Wang Zhuocheng, is a firey emotionally-confused baby and his growth throughout the series was lovely to see. He was a splash of colour in an already wonderful cast. I love all of their characters and when the main story was lagging, the relationships and friendships and the characters more than made up for it. They all grow a lot as people in the 24 episodes, more mature (for better or worse) and you do know they are genuinely good people. If slightly marred by Chinese 'romantic' tv tropes. So yeah, watch the show. First 3 episodes are subbed on youtube!

Love this show!!

I am in love with this show!! I love how all the couples had happy endings. It was not that intense or heavy on the emotions. I loved the OST, the visuals and the story as well. It was very funny and emotional at times. I usually drop shows midway but this is one of those rare ones which I completed. We need more shows like this!!?
The show started so wonderfully and ended wonderfully too. I love how there was not evil characters in this show and the mean ones eventually mended their ways and cleared all the misunderstandings.

Started Off Well....

STORY:
The story was great at first but it went downhill near the end. I don't know if the writing became lazy or they just ran out of ideas. Either way, I was not satisfied even if the ending was happy. The subplots play a big part in the main plot so I guess it could make up for the bad ending.

ACTING:
Excellent chemistry. You will in love with the support characters as well as the main characters. The main male lead will make you cringe at first but after a few episodes he'll grow on you.

MUSIC:
Not very memorable. Seriously, don't waste your time listening to the intro.

REWATCH VALUE:
0.

the ending destroyed everything

I finished it a couple of days ago. I have to say, in the beginning, I kinda loved it since it is a sweet drama without a dark plot or something like this. Indeed, the couple is in a relationship in episode 5 or 6 I think, pretty fast but ain't complaining cause I loved them. After the first half, things got weird and the writers wanted to do it a bit dramatic. Honestly, I didn't enjoy the last 3 episodes. Only nonsense for me. I mean, why An Ning was so sad? For what? She should have analyzed everything much better.
The main couple was so sweet, crazy in love, and with many sweet moments. About the second couple, honestly, I don't know, I skipped almost all their scenes since I was used with Marius Wang on The Untamed. The drama was okay, but as I said, the end made it horrible and with nonsense and many cringe moments. If you don't have what to watch, you should try this.

When i watched this drama i hope the story would be satisfying. Yes i smiled from the start. I spend my whole time to watch this drama. I believed this would be like what i thought before. But suddenly something happened and i didn't expect why the writter made this story unsatisfying . I believe that not only me who think that. It hurts me a lot. I skipped many Scene. I couldn't stand to watch, but i had to finish. Yea i had to watch it. It's almost ending. But the story is unsatisfying.. i feel like this story makes me feel happy but in the end it breaks me down. Even though it's happy ending but it is unsatisfying.
