Twinkling mermaids like vampires in Twilight
It was a good drama (in some requirements). Initially I was interested in the male lead, he was cold and distant, not at all attractive. The protagonist was an interesting point, she was not an irritating and useless girl but she liked her more in the "masculinized" version of her, she seemed more spontaneous like that. The second love interest caught my attention at the beginning, his character was captivating, a badboy that everyone loves, but he showed some attitudes that made me upset, which diminishes my consideration for him. The protagonist's friends were cool, a good couple to see interacting with. Going to the end, the distance between the protagonists was only dramatization because in the first moment they saw each other they came back. One point that bothered me was how they dealt with the 'discovery' of the protagonist's sexuality, of course there was a mermaid thing, but even so, the way the other characters started treating her when they found out was bad, getting rid of the person her sometimes, because in real life her situation would be considered homophobia, right? How could they be so mean to her? (even people close). Closing my thoughts, I felt very sorry for the second lead, a part of me wanted them to be together, but the way he showed his love for her was a little problematic :vWas this review helpful to you?
