Interesting Twists and Good Acting in Season 3
Kinkyuu does a fantastic job of subverting expectations. One of my favorite things to do is predict what the ending will be as the episode progresses. Even after 30+ episodes, they still managed to surprise me. Like the last two seasons, the team carefully examines and breaks down the motivations of all possible perpetuators of crime, before acquiring pieces of evidence to narrow down to the real perpetuator.I particularly enjoyed episode #1 ("I Shot"), episode #2 ("I Won"), and the season finale (split between the last two episodes, "I Saved" and "I Did It"). Series regular Osugi Ren passed away between Season 2 and Season 3, and his presence is greatly missed.
