Both have FLs with disabilities who have been living their lives on their own. A chanced meeting with our MLs is where our stories start. Repeated encounters with the MLs wanting to 'help' the FLs, have both the couples falling in love. The leads in both the stories are broken on a certain level, and they find new purpose through their relationships. Both stories see the relationships fade out eventually, and the FLs overcome their disabilities eventually, to different capacities.
However Always is more action/ plot- heavy, whereas Josee is more somber, and quietly philosophical. Also, both stories have Japanese counterparts (Always is the original, whereas Josee is the remake of a japanese movie of the same name)
Ps. It's fun to find similar scenes in both movies! :D

Josee has the same lead actors as the light in your ayes and also has parts where you wonder what is real and what is not. Both deal with disability in one way or another however the light in your ayes is more direct and has an ending that is not up for interpretation.

A small city on the outskirts of Seoul. Young Seok, a university student nearing graduation, comes across a woman in the street who has fallen from her wheelchair and helps her back home. She ends up feeding him a simple meal, and he develops a vague curiosity for this woman who introduces herself as "Josée". From this time on, Young Seok occasionally stops by Josée's house, receiving free meals and getting to know this woman who reads a lot, has a comprehensive knowledge of whiskey and tells him stories which he's not sure are true. Gradually, they come to share an unforgettable love.

I found the atmosphere and writing to be quite similar to each other. They're both about people finding solace and happiness in each other and finding their footing in life.
