Mekhala, the goddess of lightning lived in heaven. In heaven, Ram Asoon who is the thunder giant has a crush on the goddess, but Mekhala doesn't like him. Whenever they fight, lightening and thunder would be heard in earth. Ram Asoon attempted many times to make Mekhala his wife, but she always escaped. One day, both were fighting and Mekhala fell down to earth and Ram Asoon followed her to the human world. While Mekhala fell down, she lost her jewel which caused her to stay on earth trying to escape from the clutches of Ram Asoon.
