Both detectives displays many similarities in personality and behaviour. They are both cowardly and afraid of grotesque scenes. They both sometimes break the fourth wall and possess meta awareness.

The two dramas have absolutely nothing in common. And yet, if you're ready for one, you are for the other: they both require to think out of the box.

both are detective drama parodies. They reference cult detective dramas and make fun of the cliché and typical character archetypes.

Although different in plot, these are both comedies that feature Matsuda Shota. If you liked his wacky and very funny character in Don Quixote you might be interested to watch more. He has a quirky character and great comedic timing in this drama as well.
