They show different ways of interpreting the disease that everyone is born with and that's death. Although it may seem shallow or boring it has meaningful and heart-warming sequences and you could give it a try! :)

This movie called more than blue has same vibes. Instead here male lead was suffering and the end has bit similarities with a millionaire's first love. ! Both depicting love w friendship !
Tho for me more than blue is 10/10. While i rate millionaire 9/10 !?

Similar situation: Guy doesn't have long to live, tries to get his loved one to move on. The main couple aren't married in MTB though.

Both heartbreaking romance stories. Both have an amazing storyline. Both deal with a terminal illness.

Actually, they are the same. The same plot and the same atmos.
Storytelling and emotions are kind of different and it is due to cultural differences.

"More Than Blue" and "1 Litre no Namida" share several thematic similarities that make them emotionally compelling. Both stories center around protagonists dealing with terminal illnesses: Aya Kito in "1 Litre no Namida" suffers from spinocerebellar ataxia, while K in "More Than Blue" is terminally ill. They explore the emotional and psychological struggles associated with their conditions, affecting not just themselves but also their loved ones. Themes of love and sacrifice are prominent; K sacrifices his happiness for Cream's future, while Aya's family and friends provide unwavering support. Both narratives highlight the impact of illness on relationships and emphasize perseverance, hope, and finding meaning in life despite inevitable suffering and loss.

Both are romantic and bittersweet. The way some elements of the story come to light are similar.

Best friends, that grew up together, live/start to live together and that feel more for one another. Both stories are quite similar, the only big difference is that while More than blue makes you get out a big box of tissues, Soundtrack draws a big smile on your face

Sometimes we can't be with the person we truly love. Both stories show us that love - Even if it is unfulfilled love - can be stronger than everthing we have. This story is sadder than first one, but you also can find some funny moments
