From the first trailer, it seemed like this movie would just be all about the sex, however, after watching, it tells an unconventional, yet conventional story about love and relationships.

A story about how two sex workers - a veteran and a newbie - who meet by chance in a cheap hotel and eventually develop feelings for one another. Adela Johnson (the veteran who goes by many names), from the beginning of the movie, portrays herself as a strong woman, especially in front of others, but, is quite vulnerable and broken on the inside. The story about self-prostitution, it's pros and cons and the reality that comes with it is all portrayed just between two characters and two characters alone - Adela and Ram.

Ram (the newbie), on the other hand, is a seemingly clueless anime nerd from the countryside, who continuously, but cringely continues to call and refer to Adela as his senpai (and is even wearing a Dragon Ball Z T-shirt when he first meets Adela).

The character development of both as they learn to go through life with one another as previously lonely people, portrays itself realistically despite alluded time jumps. I found the acting and the chemistry between the lead characters quite convincing, which lead to the story itself being convincing even though the script itself is powerful. The ending (of how both want to give up the life of a sex worker and the money that comes with it to love each other and change) itself comes full circle as both wind up in the cheap hotel where they met, though unrealistic, is a nice wrap-up to the story.

A Roller Coast of Emotions

Cuddle Weather has a sensible way of touching sensible matters.

I got hooked in the story since the first 10 minutes. The characters have some sense of realism, some sense of mystery mixed with pain; This film did well in portraying how we make decisions and how they affect us; How everything can turn easily in a big avalache going down a hill; I could feel their pain. The acting, the feeling, the atmosphere was so strong that I coudn't get my eyes off;

When it comes to the plot, I think it was amazing and detailed; It was a slightly slow burn; Some cons of this film are that it feels kinda of a loop at the middle; The goes and comes of the relashionship started to get a little annoying, some repetitive happenings in the plot were really like...yeah...kinda stuck? I don't know how to explain.

I absolutely love the production and the effects; They did not lack in delievering the atmosphere with the effects; It was really well made and with amazing oroduction and visual FX. It delievered the message well, even with the cons.

It's a film that quickly made it's way on my heart, and I would totallty rewatch it again, it just feels so good. Watch the dark and bright side walking along with the paths of the characters, and get in the mood for some cuddle weather.

Expected the movie to be about Sex but LOVED THE EMOTIONAL PORTRAYAL OF THE CHARACTERS

I loved how the directors demonstrated and discussed the different reasons to why Ram and Adela entered into that line of work. Adela's story is a bit sad and the movie portrays how she feels people see her and how she sees herself. She shows off this strong exterior only to see how alone and broken she truly is as the movie progresses. Ram, the rookie, manages to climb over Adela's emotional walls however, as their relationship develops into something more than friends the work they both do start to become an issue. I loved how their story is portrayed and people need to experience this themselves hence, why I will not spoil anything.

The love story of 2 broken people. Adela comes from a world where even her own mom was a whore, has no friends, and has a past customer that broke her soul. Ram went to the big city to become a sailor but was scammed out of his money and already told his family that he was doing great. He decides to pimp himself out as...well.. he has a hot body(which you see alot of). On his first client- Adela can hear him through the wall when she is with her client, she's interested- heads to his room to "show him a good time" But instead leaves and tires to get ride of the newbie. Adela ends up buying him for a cuddle buddy- leading to her teaching him and them living together. Adela wants out but Ram, as he is new, likes the money... which leads to fights. Don't want to spoil it anymore...
For me this was a good movie about not wanting to be lonely and needing anyone -even if you had to pay them. Sure there is some sex here but its not a ton and kind of bland. Not mad that I watched- I even got a little sad. Would not rewatch. Only recommend if someone wanted a more down to earth "real" movie
