Some privileged men with power suck (literally)

Before you watch this check the tags!

If you are here for the pretty faced fuckboys than back away... and go watch something else. If you feel like watching something slightly suspenseful that shows the less flattering side of MANkind, with a side od pretty faces (and nude bodies) this is not a bad place to look for it.

The movie starts off a bit slow and messy, but about half way in to it the darkness takes over and we get to see how one thing leads to another as well as the seemingly never ending circle or dare I say avalanche of blackmail abuse where one thing leads to another and just gets worse and worse... All to satisfy the never ending desire of the predator. This part is actually done pretty well and VERY graphic...

I am not sure I would say this is a great movie, neither was it very entertaining but the acting was pretty good some of the scenery lovely and well the suspense ok and the story may not be revolutionary but it is defiantly one worth watching so all in all a pretty decent movie.

Entertaining!

Saw a Facebook post about this film and it intrigued me with its trailer and eye candy :P

Though the story was simple and predictable, the film was entertaining and suspenseful! I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would to be honest. I liked how they depicted a manipulative relationship with exploitation and blackmailing. There were a questionable plot points though such as why did it take Miko and Ace so long for them to get ready to escape after the murder? The murder was probably like 4am or so, and sunlight doesn't come until like 6am. That's like a two hour gap! Also, after strangling Jerry, why didn't they take the car or at least make sure that Jerry was actually dead before running away? The ending was abrupt though and I felt that the film could have easily add another hour or so to show how Miko and Ace will live. Still, I was completely entertained!

Solid Film

The film I think for a Filipino film was honestly not bad. It had a decently interesting storyline and actually great actors. I know Kokoy de Santos from another project he was in and he and Royce Cabrera acted very well. I was looking for a more romantic LGBTQ movie, but this movie was more of a drama about two boys who accidentally got involved with the wrong person. It does have LGBTQ elements but I don't believe this movie was mainly an LGBTQ movie. I am going into depth on certain topics. The storyline was very interesting in that it had many elements of suspense and drama with scenes having you on the edge of your seat. The acting as I said before was really well done by the two main characters. There wasn't any music to the movie so I don't have much to say about it. Should you rewatch it? Sure if you haven't seen it in a while but it is not a phenomenal movie, but a pretty decent movie to watch if you want to satisfy your voyeurism of small gay sex or you want a foreign drama that brings LGBTQ elements and visuals of hot Asian dudes and the thrilling plot.

[SPOILERS]

Story (7/10):
This storyline was very interesting in what it entails such as the upcoming climax (murder) and thrilling suspense on what happens to the two main characters after it happened. There were some of the plots that didn't really go anywhere such as the passports, the lady that Ace was making out with, why were they in with the mayor in the first place. I did like how the plot thickened to blackmail and them planning an escape but some points were just not touched on and probably shouldn't have been added in.

Acting (8/10):
The acting between the two main characters was great. I did wish they explained their relationship a little more deeply because they were having sex but I guess because the mayor wanted them to? They were best friends but how did they end up having sex with each other in the first place. I follow Kokoy de Santos and his acting in this film was really great.

Music & Rewatch (6/10):
There wasn't much or even no music at all in the film except when at the Mankind club. The silence in some scenes did make it more intense and thrilling which I really enjoyed those scenes. Is it worth a rewatch? I would say this wouldn't be something I would rewatch at all. Maybe when I forget the film or want to see the cute actors again.

Overall (7/10):
The storyline is different than typical films that I've seen but I could see the murder happening and that they were going to get caught. At first, I was caught off guard not being a LGBTQ romance film but still a good story. The main actors were great and I would probably look up their other filmography. Music was not really thought of good or I didn't even give it a thought and I would rewatch it if I forgot what it was about.

we loved it.

There were some great twists in this movie where I felt like I was punched in the gut. I didn't know anything about this movie going in and was so entertained throughout watching it. I highly recommend it. Honestly, I was expecting a cheesy romance. My end consensus is the less you know about the plot the better. You're given a lot of lively, exciting candid scenes in the beginning where you're trying to figure things out. Everything is done with a lot of intention, realism, and complexity. I think it sucks people knew what was happening before cause these scenes made me die from confusion (in a good way). The suspense element was definitely there.

I loved the general style of the film. The scenes were easy to follow and the audience was really led throughout the movie. Lol, so it may not have been the typical romance plot I was originally expecting but it was way better.

It's worth to see Royce Cabrera and Kokoy de Santos's di@ks and sex scene!

It's worth watching. All actors portrayed their characters perfectly. The story is simple and predictable but it made me feel suspenseful. The life and struggle of boys dreaming about becoming successful actors and walking the wrong way without noticing and things become hard to reurn back. How can they agree to suck each other's d@cks and f@ck although being friends or cousins I don't know. But it's pleasure to see Royce Cabrera's erected d@ck and sex scene with Kokoy de Santos. The two are confident acting all naked and show all of their private parts. I love both of them.

Okay, I'll admit I only watched this because I love Kokoy in Gameboys. That said...

This was a very interesting story that ended up being a flop. Why? Because we have no idea why the main characters ended up in the situations that they did... too many "fill in the blanks" moments. How did these boys end up with the mayor? And how did the mayor end up with these boys in the first place?

The acting: pretty decent. It's only the script and story that's bad.

What a shame... this had the potential to be very good. A missed opportunity.

talk traumatizing

idk how others r just fine with the content - cause this blindsided me like a MOFO, as is the whole pageant scene (fun and games aside) seemed shady and sordid, and i know as much as beauty pageant r made to seem glamorous, the behind-the-scene's isn't that much different then what we got in this movie - just the girls (cause its publicized) aint as vulgar when they address the public or judges - also they have to up-hold some false image of propriety. here everything was in ur face - literally... and everything was mischief and horseplay, until they got in the car with that disgusting Mayor.

as is the sec he walked into that place with his bodyguard and he carrying a gun - i was like where he a Mayor off?!? perv town in a wild western?!? like WTF - and then the way he was fixated on Ace and Mico made my skin crawl! so when i "got" that Ace's babe was that pig (bad joke i know ugh) my stomach turned, wondering how the hell these two boys got mixed up with that f*cker. and then everyone around that depraved old man knew these were "his boys" aish i wanted to projectile vomit all over the screen.
so from the sec they got in that car i might as well have been watching a slasher/horror flick, this was that distressing - seeing them being verbally pushed and prodded into doing Fernan's bidding - even though they young adults, and meant to be rebellious they were so docile it was shudder inducing and yeah for me it was a hard watch after that - even them "sticking" him like a pig (well deserved) wasn't enough to revive my enthusiasm in watching this - felt like a train wreck and i really wanted to avert my eyes - so afterwards more or less fast-forwarded the rest...

but have to say, in-spite of this being brutal - it was well acted and played out - it showed u how depraved the world is and there was no sugar coating of this mess. all the joking around - lighthearted atmosphere turned dark and ghastly half way through - the end was fitting considering they didn't plan any off what happened, they were desperate, inexperienced and in-over their heads. they were basically just thrown around by the situation they found themselves in, and just had to hang on and push through - so logical ending..

so if u not softhearted (like me) and have no problem with this type of depravity - recommend it to u - and even though this sooooooooooo not my cup of tea, i admit - good movie!
