But now I'm not regretting a single minute I invested in this drama and fully understand the length of the drama.
It's hilarious, has it's serious and romantic scenes a perfect combination.
It may have started of as something similar to Coffee Prince (korean drama) but then every character in this drama gets more interesting and has their own side story.
It isn't only about the loveline between the two main characters (or five according to this MDL page) but it also interlinks the other characters.
There are many twists which made the drama more interesting.
And let's not forget about the wonderful actors Wu Vanness, Zeng Joanne, Zhang Michael and Wang Zi who did a wonderful job.
The only negative point is the length of the drama BUT It's definitely worth watching for fans of the genre Romance-Comedy.

I must admit that I got into this story because I thought it was a Taiwanese version to Coffee Prince. I am not the biggest Korean drama fan, but I love Coffee Prince. Besides the real Taiwanese version of Coffee Prince is horrible. The story starts off similar to Coffee Prince where Fang Jia Hua leaves the house because he hates his father and tries to buy a chocolate shop. Alas someone else wants it as well (Ge Jia Yi) so they have a contest to see who will get the shop. Jia Hua lose the contest and begins working in the chocolate shop. Hong XI En is a skilled worker who needed another job to help her family and decides to pretend to be a boy and work for the chocolate shop.
Once I started watching the story I felt there is no way the can make 80 episodes off of this alone, but I was proven wrong. Like I explained before this show seems similar to Coffee Prince, but it is not at all. To avoid spoiling the show I will just say things happen at a faster paste for the love interest of Jia Hua and Xi En, there is another romantic story between the Xi En younger sister and Zheng Ting, and the people who are trying to break the happy couple up are more cunning ( and crazy in the head). It is a different story all together and you grow to love the chocolate shop and its characters. The only problem I had with it is the fact that the love story between Xi En younger sister and Zheng Ting is more interesting then the main love story. At least in my opinion.
The characters are amazing! Xi En is very stubborn, headstrong, and independent. She is the ideal lead. Jia Hua is a guy who despite his background is not a spoiled brat and actually has compassion. Zheng Ting is the sexy bad boy and Xi En younger sister is the airhead (there is always an airhead in these shows). The only characters I struggled to like is Jia Rui (younger brother of Jia Hua) that is afraid to do anything to get the love of his life and Zheng Jun( younger sister of Zheng Ting) who would do anything(in a scary way) to get the love of her life.
The acting of course was awesome especially Vaness Wu and Dou Bobby. The music was repititive, but it played at appropriate times. Overall, I loved this show and I would watch it again.

Of course it has Vanness Wu in it so how could it not be great. You will fall in love along with Jia Hua & Xi En, will hate Zheng Jun & then maybe start like her, Zhen Ting & Xi Hui were adorable, Xiao Xiao & Wei Lei were cute & everyone else was also amazing.
I want to live at the TiAmo shop! I will be re-watching this one many times specially when I want to see a lot of romance.

The acting was good overall with the two leads being excellent, a great set of supporting characters, and fantastic families to back it up. The only character that annoyed me and frankly I wish there were less episodes focused on Xi En's sister who was rather childish and annoying. Some of the things she did made me go "How or why in the world did you even try that.
The music was really good for this drama & I love the theme song! It always got stuck in my head after listening to it ^_^
I definitely would re-watch at least parts of this drama when I get the chance, but I'm not sure I'd watch the whole thing from start to finish. If friends of mine decide to watch it though I'd certainly watch it with them :)

~ well as you know the main characters are (Fang Jia Hua and Xi En) , their relationship are like any other romantic comedy drama out there but what sets them apart is that , there's are so Cliche and Cheezy but somehow it still works , . . . Specially when you mix it with Xi En's Family it is just hilarious.
Cast/Acting : Great Cast, nice acting , but like stated some are Cliche so i just got irritated a bit, hehe
oh and in the middle of the Drama , One of the side Characters just Disappeared lolz,
Music : EPIC soundtrack , the OP and ED music are AWESOME, can't get it out of my head, specially cause the timing of that background music for drama effect, works
Rewatch Value: Probably watch it if i get bored and want to just laze around, but would skip the boring episodes.
Overall , i want to say that 80 Episodes WTF, this is one of those shows that became a hit and so the higher ups decided to make it longer despite the story suffering, ~ in the 30 onwards episodes it starts to drag on, 1st of the competition notice/entry plot started early but it took longer to take place i mean it was rushed but it was 80 episodes long , CMON, ~ but it is enjoyable and fun to watch, it is certainly one of those dramas that will make you want to hit the Next button ~ :D

STORY are good..not so many twist in the drama..but i like the plot..the drama are quite light where there not so many twist plot which usually are in 70 - 80 episode of the drama..but you won't get bored because because there are so many funny scene..we have 2 main couple in this drama..Vanness and Bobby couple..sorry to Vanness fan, but i actually love the 2nd main couple story more than Vanness story..
Bobby are so manly and handsome and cute in the drama compared to LOVE NOW drama which i rather find him a bit annoying there..hahaha but because of this drama, i think i fall for him..haha again ! and not to say that Bobby girlfriend are a bit dumb and annoying in this drama, but they just suited each other..and and not to mention that this couple kiss a lot more than Vanness couple !! haha but still, both main couple story actually are pretty sweet and cute..
ACTING/CAST. i'm a bit annoyed with vanness sometime in this drama.. but that's meant he really good with acting..because his character are a bit annoying and not really the cool macho manly type..which if compare with Bobby, also good actor (thumbs up with his acting), he really2 show you a manly handsome ideal guy..haha my taste..as for main girl, Joanne and Guo Shu Yao which are siblings in this drama, they did a good acting there..i always love Joanne since MAGICIANS OF LOVE (can't believe this drama aired 10 years ago)..for me she really a good actress..as for Guo Shu Yao, she always act for the same silly, cute, bubbly, and innocent character..
MUSIC..haha the song pretty good..but there are only 3 song in this drama..so it is quite repetitive..the music arrangement is okay for each scene..but because it is repetitive, so after 40 episode you will start to sing along with it..huhu
as for REWATCH, maybe i will when i get unemployed and got nothing to do for the whole month.. or else who's going to repeat the whole 80 episode again..haha maybe i will, but after some time when i get really bored..but not now since there are tons of new korean and taiwan drama to watch.
