Both are romantic dramas with amazing high profile actors. The dramas focus on the love story of 2 completely different people and how they come to care for each other. They are also based on the novels by acclaimed chinese authors

Who doesn't want more Yang Zi?

Yang Zi plays a bright and youthful FL in both dramas with a ML 10 years her senior who has been jaded by very tough life experiences. Opposites attract in these two extremely sweet romances. Go Go Squid focuses a lot on career while The Oath of Love focuses a lot on family. Both are a must watch if you're into romantic comedies! Soooo cute, funny, heartwarming, and the chemistry is so natural--truly top notch!

Bonus: both include very beautiful and meaningful OST tracks that are sang by the leads themselves!

Both drama have the same female lead. The Oath of Love is mainly about the main lead Lin Zhixiao and Gu Wei's romance while The Psychologist is about psychological counselor He dun untying her heart knot while treating others. I think this 2 drama are similar in their romance part.

I know Xiao Zhan from The Untamed. He has great acting talent. Although the two dramas are different types, I can see the shadow of Gu Wei and Wei Wuxian overlapping, especially when the feelings of the two characters erupt. I'm looking forward to Xiao Zhan's next drama, I can't wait to watch it on WeTV!!!

The male lead is a Doctor in both dramas. Both are adapted from a novel. Friends to Lovers. Both live as neighbors.

basically this is the adaptation in form of movie

Lin Zhi Xiao is a budding young cellist looking to start her career as she prepares to graduate from university. She has a handsome, loving boyfriend and even has a promising job lined up for when she completes her studies. Then her world falls apart…
Just before she graduates, her father is suddenly taken ill and needs to be hospitalized. She is forced to attend to his ailing health, and all of a sudden is forced to say goodbye to the job she was hoping to take. To compound the misery, she also splits up with her boyfriend. But when she is really starting to feel sorry for herself, she meets Gu Wei, the doctor charged with treating her father. Gu Wei has also had a rough time of life of late, but the duo slowly starts to form a mutual understanding. But could love follow for this pair – and might they one day be able to reverse their bad luck?

The storyline of both dramas has nothing in common really, but both of the dramas somehow give the same kind of feeling. The kind of feeling that you are watching a real-life couple romancing each other. I mean the chemistry between both couples was perfect. The writing was mature and believable. The production quality of both of the dramas was really good.

Similarities:
Each has a doctor as a lead plus some of the support.
Male chases female first.
All misunderstandings are resolved fast and without dragging.
Has romance and comedy.

-Both dramas depict a very healthy relationship between the main CP.
-The two ML's are high IQ, low EQ but are gentle and caring towards the FL's.
-ML's are very serious about their jobs.
-Family issues are a thing in both.

Just be warned that Forever and Ever is the modern continuation of One and Only and while you don't need to watch that drama to understand F&E, there are very, very, brief mentions of it.

-Supportive, healthy relationships in both.
-ML's are highly intelligent
-FL's are very passionate in what they do.
-They both involve the leads living together in some way.
-Fluffy, relatively stress-free dramas

Main difference is that PYHOMS is in university setting to early adulthood
