Kimi Hannin Janai yo ne? (2008)

Both centre around crime and both are very fun!

The detective is incapable of solving cases himself/herself and needs help from external sources. Also both series have comedic elements.

The protagonists are great analyzers who work for the police and use their skills to deduct and solve cases.

They're both Mystery drama's which take a lot of inspiration from the Trick series. They involve a pair of quirky and eccentric characters solving and disproving seemingly supernatural crimes. The crimes and relationship between the two leads are very similar as well as the type of humor.

In both series the detective falls in love with the beautifull/handsome suspects.
