The story was good, but the end was a bit weird and unexpected (as it's often the case in chinese movies). I liked the love story, but I sometimes didn't understand the characters, which is a bit sad. Anyway, the actors are great and the music is beautiful. It gave me a new view of Balzac's work, which is very beautiful indeed, and shows the condition of people at that period of time, so I think it's really interesting. It's not exactly the movie to watch if you want to have fun, but it's good!
