One day, Kanako suffers from a subarachnoid hemorrhage, she successfully undergoes surgery, but she loses only her memories with her husband Haru.

Haru keeps trying to show a positive front and make his wife remember him but she keeps backing away in fright.

Kanako starts working at the library and tries to learn what she forgot. Haru is working on the car and tries to hide from others how much is life is falling apart.

Haru tries to convince his wife that they can't be separated even if she has no feelings form him.

Kanako tries to sort out her feelings when her ex-boyfriend appears.
