This dorama has a very interesting premise, which unfortunately hasn't been fully developed (the fact that it consists of only 8 episodes, and short ones - around 20' each - at that, sure didn't help!). Too bad because it really had the potential of coming out a "perfect ten". As is, instead, it's more of an 8/10. Very nice acting by the leads, Sakuma Yui and Takezai Terunosuke. The music is also pretty nice, as is the Edo setting (though the clear use of wigs to reproduce the typical male hairstyle of the time - "chonmage" - was a bit cheap, imho).
