The Golden Vein (2012)

It is the story of a town which based its economy on the gold mines. During the Sino-Japanese war the people fought to protect their gold from the invading Japanese forces. The story revolves around two men, Lu Jianshan and Guo Lin. The first is a Communist and the sore in his father's eye, the second is adopted and therefore always second to the father's eyes.
