I found this Drama on drama soft subs site, and checked it out it had decent rating, and many were complimenting the story,so wanted to try it out.

The start was fine, the story is smooth and simple the characters are honest, straight forward and don’t run around the bushes, which is cool.

The male lead's personality is so sweet, and lovable, the girl was natural strong had her own ideas, wasn't stupid annoying or careless,The most annoying thing for me was that some crying scenes felt fake and forced [I said some not all of them]!, the second couple are so sweet I really liked them, I liked the end.

If you are looking for something light, simple, easy to watch straight forward, this is it, Enjoy :)

Simple, charming, and easy to watch. I thought In Between was a nice drama to pass time and it was interesting enough to keep me watching. The story didn't have any of the usual T-Drama cliches so that was nice. It's a pretty slow moving drama but I thought it was well-paced. The story mostly revolves around Johnny Lu, the male lead, and after watching this drama, I can see that he is a great actor. In my opinion, I thought the crying scenes were pretty realistic and my favorite part of the whole drama is watching Johnny's character mature drastically from the first episode to a completely different person by the end of the drama.

Janel Tsai, the female lead, is a decent actress. Some of her acting felt forced at times, but overall, I enjoyed her chemistry with Johnny. They make a cute OTP! Many people dislike Vivi Lee because of her always playing the second female lead, but I think she is a great actress with lots of potential- in this drama I thought she played her part very well.

The music is easy on the ears, but I do think it's a bit repetitive. Regardless, like the drama, the songs were nice and simple to listen to.

I personally would not rewatch it mainly because there were many plot twists/character developments that just wouldn't be the same if I rewatch in comparison as to watching this drama for the first time.

Nevertheless, I recommend watching this drama because it's a no pressure drama with a straightforward story line, along with an adorable OTP. (8/7.5)

This was such a surprising and pleasing drama and comedy. I love the plot about an admired romance novelist who is suffering from writer’s block due to his mess of a love life as it was so different from the norm. If you love reading and books, then this the drama for you. There are two scenes reminiscent of the ‘Misery’ kidnapping and “It Happened One Night’ w/Claudette Colbert giving Clark Gable a lesson in hitchhiking – very cute. The acting is good, and Patrick Lee is always a crowd pleaser w/his signature of saying lines in English. Kudos to the screenwriters. bc
