I absolutely adore this drama because it goes over darker subjects such as disability, death, and family problems. It really shows you how hard reality can be and I wish it had more episodes. The saying "short and sweet" isn't what I would use to describe this drama because it is by no means "sweet" in terms of gumdrops and rainbows after a storm. You will cry and even though problems are solved you may still not be completely satisfied.
The acting overall is okay but this drama was filmed with a lot of newbie actors so I was able to tolerate it and actually warmed up to almost all of them. The music was extremely repetitive for a music/dance drama and it almost made me drop the drama but don't let that discourage you from watching it.
I do still re-watch my favorite parts every now and then because the fact that the main character is deaf really intrigued me, I wish more dramas could expand on the idea of disability for the main characters. The trouble and difficulties he faced being deaf, overcoming those difficulties and finding joy in something he can do even if he is deaf.
This drama is extremely short and is a perfect filler drama if you have to wait for an episode for a "currently airing" drama to come out. I'm happy I watched this because it was something I happened to stumble upon and something I happen to really enjoy. It was a great surprise and you won't regret watching it. Thanks and enjoy!!

The plot was good, they aren't many series with a deaf person as main character and its nice to have visibility for disabled people. Actually I started watching this series because I love Takuya and because I read it was about music instead of romance, which I hate xd The characters had nice stories too, I only wish Douji would had more screen time, which was absurd since he is the main character for god sake, I was annoyed at how other characters had more time than him!
The series was good until episode 6, after that everything became a little bit boring, I feel like they missed the whole point of the show and it went to a whole different direction. The death of Tarou had me like "wtf?!", I wasn't really expecting a death in this series, not at all (it was sad btw). Also, whats with that girl at the end?! She and Douji only meet like two or three times at the park and barely speak to each other, and suddenly Douji is asking her to go out with him?! Like, seriously?! They lost me there, good thing it was the last episode or else I would have dropped this series. In general I liked it, but it wasn't the best either.
