A dragon appears in modern day Japan, causing a great uproar in Tokyo. On the other hand, at Mitsuyama City located at the foot of Mt Fuji, Yoshio (Yasuda Shota), Kenji (Endo Kaname) and Tamotsu (Honda Chikara), members of the young people’s association, talk idly at the cafe where Yoko (Renbutsu Misako) works. Yoshio, who had gone to buy a game, obtains a mysterious, old document at a secondhand bookstore. It is written literature about dragons. They learn that: warriors of the light had previously destroyed a dragon, Mitsuyama City is the town of their descendents, and a sword and crystal are needed to vanquish a dragon. And, the descendents of the light, who are the new heroes, have coats of arms. A good look reveals that Kenji and the others have them too. The four of them wonder if it is a joke even as they search for the crystal. A variety of reasons make them decide to destroy the dragon despite their conflicts. The spirit of adventure which they had almost forgotten, blossoms, and they take action, for world peace and regional devevlopment. Edit Translation

If you are looking for a short, no-brainer drama, then this may be for you. I've never been a gamer, so as SuperShark mentioned, those who have played RPG games may be more engaged. However, I really liked it for what it was.

The story was obvious and nonsensical, but it is consistently logical within the world that it creates. Once there's a dragon on Tokyo Tower and a town full of hidden magic, customary logic and realism are thrown out the window. As long as the logic of the story remains within the bounds created by itself, I am satisfied.

The interesting thing about the cast is that they have been in many dramas but are not typically the lead. This is consistent with the theme of "unlikely heroes," and also applies to the main "hero" of this drama, Yasuda Shota. Although he's a member of the popular group Kanjani8, he is less recognizable than some of his band-mates like Ryo Nishikido or You Yokoyama.

The music is cheesy, and I probably wouldn't watch this again unless I was terribly bored, but it's a fun, light-hearted, silly drama that I'm glad I watched. You aren't missing anything if you don't see it, but it's worth the time IMO.

I most likely went into this show with too high expectations. I am sad to say but this wasn't very good.

We have the plot, which is about a dragon being seen in modern day Japan. Right there this series had my attention but oh boy, does it not deliver on that. The dragon just sits on top of Tokyo Tower and does nothing. What's more dissapointing is the reaction people have to it. They would show more reaction if they discovered a wild bear running around in the city. And yeah, I realize it's a comedy, but it needs some kind of logical structure to build the jokes on. I won't spoil anything in particular but alot of the situations regarding the crystals and the "heroes" just makes you go "Like they didn't notice that before!!!". Again, yeah it's a comdey and some of these are meant as jokes but it's just to stupid.

The cast was just kinda there, I didn't love or hate anyone in particular. I think this is the first time I'm seeing alot of these people except Endo Kaname.

As for the comedy, I did laugh at a few things since I am an old rpg videogame player. This show makes fun of those alot. But most of the time it was just painful.

All in all, I'd say avoid this show. Especially if you haven't played rpgs like the older Final Fantasy games with crystals and whatnot. I'm most likely kind to this show by even giving it a 6/10 but it was short and I enjoyed some parts, mostly from the earlier episodes.
