Bong Hee, who finds Hae Joo's family crying under a bridge after being displaced from their home, takes them to her sister Gum Hee's house. Chang Hee sees them and gladly provides shelter for them, so Hae Joo starts to live with Chang Hee's family. Meanwhile, Do Hyun takes over Hae Poong Shipbuilding from Dae Pyeong, and Dae Pyeong sends his grandson, Kang San, to the United States to study shipbuilding. Meanwhile, Hae Joo's father's creditors even crash Chang Hee's home.
