Delicious subtlety

I am so liking the levels of subtlety at Naoki and Riko's rendezvotus point at South Park. It's so simple yet it hits home.

While Naoki is saying how she should watch the regular season of basketball because he feels he's stronger with her there, the angle steadily shows the two of them in front of the wall art of a toddler holding a bunch of balloons and at the top are the words in bold, "Love makes me strong."

From the start, they were at the periphery of each other's consciousness and now the subtleties are inching their way closer!

Play properly, BAKA!

That was my favorite scene! Loved Riko's scolding and I liked the fact how it encouraged Naoki. He just wants someone to support him and tell him he can do! He just needs a little push which Riko provided him with in this episode! I want Naoki to break up with Natsuki already..she's just trouble...seems like she's only looking for physical relationship...and not being serious much.

Awwww

It's so cute that kids like him! Kamiya does seem like a very gentle and sweet spirit. Riko was awesome with her scolding. Funks are so easy to get into, but so difficult to get out of. Sometimes you just need a little push, even in the middle of a basketball game. I just wish his girlfriend was worthy of him. I mean, seriously, you've got a sweet guy who just needs a little motivation. Why would you cheat?! I just don't get it.

Public scolding

Awww, this drama is just lovely. I love the interactions between leads so far. It feels so natural. They are honest and polite to each other. How refreshing it is after all those usual love-hate relationships where the two bicker at first. i can`t wait when the friendship will start to change to love. I hope it will be natural and full of chemistry.
And I can`t be more surprised that I am actually enjoying even the sport scenes. I felt at first very awkward watching them because in dramaland sports always seem the most unreal to me. However, sport in this drama really picked my interest, I cheer very much. Such a weird thing for me to say. LOL
And not to forget, this drama is an eye candy worth dying for...

Love makes me strong

It's great to see how people flourish when they know someone's got their back.

Plus you gotta love a man who can cook! And this kid seems to be pretty decent all round too. He's filial, great with kids, family oriented. Too bad his girlfriend is not looking like too much of a catch.

Now that Riko-chan and Naoki have met and seem to be getting along, how is this going to pan out with her dating Coach?

Awww, He's good with the Kiddos!

A good follow-up episode. Our leads are getting to know each other a little more (like, their names and everything!), and we get another fun basketball practice game, and one with cute little kids!

Question: Did the show's casting managers hire actors who could play basketball, or basketball players who can act? I would probably fail as shot-hitting extra, assuming I made it past the height requirement.

Favorite quote:
"You're strong! You can play well! Please play seriously, BAKA!"
(It was all in the delivery.. straight out of the mouth of a normally sane woman, momentarily turned crazy!)
