Great Fantasy
The visual affects in this drama was great. The story is a fantasy and it is a good written story. All the characters are easy to follow from beginning to end. The male and female lead character keep the episodes very interesting along with the other characters. The twist in the story half way and a cute romance keeps us engage in the story. The actors performance is great and there is so much chemistry between them, That they put you in the story and make you believe in it. The fighting are exquisite and the special affect are the best. What I did love was the CGI of Li Xuan’s powers - when the writers allowed him to use them, that is, which happened rarely. And it’s too bad because when he kicked butt, he kicked butt big time.
Another thing that I loved was the friendship between Li Xuan and his bodyguard, Changqing. The actor who played Changqing, Zhang Cengceng, was amazing, he had this quiet power about him. Unfortunately, like with many other things in this drama, Li Xuan and Changqing’s relationship kinda got lost in the kerfuffle around the middle and then it simply... fizzled out.

Enjoyable
This is a cute drama with a well written story. Story moves nicely along with very nice people. The leads are welled matched. Lots of beautiful lady, as well as two very handsome actors with amazing eyes. Was not boring at all . He f funny moments , the music ? was very nice. The lead song had a nice tone to it. The jealous girl was very annoying, but very pretty. The princess was also beautiful and had great fights with jealous girl. The nerd looked more handsome with the makeup , This drama was a delight to watch , however some of the English subtitles were off and didn’t make sense.Was this review helpful to you?
Just kinda meh
I loved the leads in Arsenal Military Academy and Xu Kai in Legends and Lingjian mountain but I was disappointed in this drama. Everything was okay. Xu Kai was good but didn’t seem to have much chemistry with the FL. The story started briskly and was fairly straightforward and entertaining but the various threads never really formed a cohesive narrative and while there were some fun moments it is a forgettable drama. The secondary characters were fun, but again the mythology wasn’t really explored very well. I assume it was meant to highlight the dangers of racism, which is a timely theme but even that just sort of fizzled out in the end. Really, just meh. I love xu Kai and did a great job as always. I fell in love with li jun Chen he looked so hot, his eyes melted you. I thought it was a drama of the human and kunwu clan fight as power comes into play against each other. The human play the bad people and try to invade the kunwu home slowly trying to push them out. There is a Hugh battle and the human partially win when the saintess freezes there emporer and curse that hell be back in 10yrs. the kunwu is now trying to stay alive otherwise they are killed, made slaves or imprisoned.

Give it a chance
I am glad I gave a chance to this drama and I liked it. The acting was great. The leads weren't awkward with acting like some other annoying characters in other dramas. The story was great but there were some scenes I just questioned and a few towards the end were rushed but I overlooked it because I generally liked the drama and finished it in just over 2 days. If the writers, producers and directors had touched up a bit more on some scenes, I mave have given it a 9 or more stars but I give it 8.5 stars which is still good. this drama contains comedy,romance,superantural, fantasy,1. i love the ending that they went back to the雪色冰峰i was pretty nice.
2. the actors Wu Jia Yi and Xu Kai acted great, the story and the ending are pretty good too.
3. the costumes and everything looked good too
4. when i rewatched this drama , it was still pretty interesting

it is pretty sweet at first but it became sad i cried alot , but atleast the ending was happy

1 su you lian can actually fly down the mountain because she have wings, why use the ropes?
2 su you lian should look surprised when she knew about li xuan's idendity, but she did not

Could be much better drama
The drama starts off pretty good but as the story progresses the pace slows down,the plot lacks intensity and there is no room for character development.This show could be written better to make into a good drama but rather was written as a light hearted drama which rarely brings few smiles.All the actors were good though in their acting.
It is a only one time watch for me.

Overall, this is a pretty good drama. There are a couple of things to point out though. Firstly, the story/plot was super intriguing, but it only started developing more near the end of the drama. They focused a bit too much on the love story. But, the acting was amazing. Xu Kai did a really good job playing the part of Li Xuan. I also really liked Hani Kezi (playing as Yunshan) in this drama. The whole story was also pretty funny- it gave me a good laugh. The visual effects weren't the best, but I didn't really mind that. But in the end, I think this drama is worth watching. So-so. Overrated
I know many people like xu kai as an actor and I dont doubt him but I think this show lacks a lot. Plot is ok but too draggy. The female lead is supposed to be a saintess but damn she is just a damsel in distress. Li xuan and Prince Mu is even better than her. What a waste of the angel wings. Sorry haha.Ost is nice.
The female lead, I dont blame the actress but her character is bland. She keeps getting hurt then biys will give her power.
Her mater is also annoying. He has he power to stab li xuan indirectly but cant protect his student.

Another Academy costume drama meant for teenagers
While watching "Another Academy young adults with love-hate script", I had mixed feelings. Some parts of the script were enjoyable, but other times I found myself losing interest. Some episodes were difficult to follow and left me feeling confused. However, I found the female lead to be a refreshing change from the usual doormat characters found in so many dramas. Her sassy personality was a highlight for me. I also got a good laugh out of how they gave the same hairstyle to the bad boy hero. But, the character that really stood out was the millennium-old man and his beloved dog.Overall, it was a watchable show, but not something that I would put on my rewatch list.
