Weirdo Go (2016)

This movie was in my watchlist since last year and finally I got the time to watch it, and... it was interesting. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it either. The general plot was okay but it wasn't well handled and the low budget was very obvious. Plus, some jokes about gay people weren't funny at all... but I guess that because you've got a "trans" character in your movie you aren't being really serious right? Because that's exactly what this movie looks to me lol, making fun of LGBT people while having a LGBT person as a main character... Chinese people I guess? xd

If you are looking for a serious movie about gender indentity/transgender issues then don’t watch it, because you're only going to waste your time and most probably get offended as I did. If you are looking for a simple comedy to laugh and to appreciate Ji Li's cuteness, then you've come to the right place.

Btw I would've loved to see more about the relationship between Vivi and Miao Miao, they were cute together.

Only worth your time if you want to see Ji Li doing a fantastic job of crossdressing.

Never have I ever seen a movie I wanted to give 10 stars for the actor for willing to do all that, and minus stars (if it was possible) for everything else. As a movie it was absolute crap, terribly made, horrible characters, crude storytelling..... it maybe had a little bit of heart, which made it possible for me to sit throughout it all, in addition to Ji Li. That's about it.
It opened up the discussion about at least 5 social issues but never really followed through with any or provided satisfying conclusions. Heck, it didn’t even have a proper ending.
It was simply a cheap movie made with intention of getting some views via some bad gender jokes and other nonsense, so do not go into it expecting anything further.
