The university life of a group of medical students unfolds in a grounded youth drama about finding yourself, rejecting labels, and pursuing dreams. Southeast Medical University has just started a new school year. Wu Yue, who dreams of becoming a surgeon, meets seven other classmates. In the process of exploring the mysteries of medicine, they discover each other's quirks and personalities that often also become a source of their problems. In fact, Wu Yue and Gao Yiyang are just like two planets colliding. A young girl accompanying her sickly mother to the doctor also enters their lives. How fleeting life is and how precious relationships are ignited strong feelings in the eight students who will eventually take their Hippocratic oath in unison in their journey to becoming real doctors. Must Watch

This story is a refreshing piece that doesn't follow your typical university life romance. We have 8 main leads who met when they started university and where placed in a group together, thanks to that the 4 girls and 4 boys became roommates. We got to see how they all faced and overcame challenges, how their friendship grew and how they slowly found love. I liked that this series was equally focused on all of our couples and how they slowly fell in love with one another, it didn't only focus on one couple. Along the journey they all found the person they were meant to be with and the person that completed them

At the beginning I was a bit skeptical with some of the characters and what their role would be, example yushi since we could all tell she had a slight crush on yiyang in the beginning. I was worried she would become the typical second female lead that messes with their relationship and betrays their friendship but to my surprise this wasn't the case. WE also got 2 subtle love triangles but that was quickly resolved. I liked how Yao Wei never gave up on his love even after getting rejected so many times. How Yu Shi valued her friendship and didn't do anything to harm the oh so slow relationship forming between wu yue and yiyang. They all helped each other.

We didn't have any big drama, or misunderstandings that caused their friendship to be in trouble or anything over the top, we just had 8 friends who are learning how to navigate life.

I also loved the small scenes we got between the two teachers. Teacher Zhu and teacher and Teacher Yang.

This series is a must watch.

Youth Unpriscribed ~ Ultimate fun pack

NO TYPICAL UNIVERSITY ROMANCE
NO FIGHTS IN FRIENDS FOR HAVING SAME CRUSHES
NO SINGLE EPISODE SEEMS BORING
A full on entertaining and refreshing drama. There won't be any single episode that seems to be boring. The story revolves around 4 girls and 4 boys who are not only classmates but also friends, roommates and each other's saviour.
A drama that was close to reality. They showed the problem faced by medical students and how they solved the problems together. How growing though life made their friendship an unbreakable bond. Of course 4 boys and 4 girls helps in easy pairing. The part of the little girl and her sick mother made the show play a bit with viewers emotions. Those parts were particularly touching. Also who can forget the 2 teachers and 1 senior girl who made the show more interesting.
The plot summary provided by MDL is actually enough to make you curious about the show.
I would say this is a must watch show. You Should definitely give it a try.
(some points were taken away because writers forgot about WU YUE's initial aim of becoming DR. GAO 's student.)
