A digital feature has five episodes that all deal with wild gay fantasies involving men in uniform. It starts with "Biyahe," about a jilted taxi driver and his jealous passenger who find comfort in each other's lovesick arms. The second episode is "Linya," about a lonely homeowner whose phone conks out. Two handsome repairmen arrive, and they end up engaging in a dizzying threesome. Next is "Laro," about four basketball players who are taking a shower in the locker room after an intense game, and a shy guy who takes a peek at them and later joins in the fun. "Bilis" is about a hunky delivery boy in a hurry who delivers pizza to a bored yuppie who is working overtime in his office. They get instantly attracted upon seeing each other. The last episode is "Bantay," about a horny security guard in the graveyard shift. He sees two lovers fighting. Rhyme dumps Jon and Jon finds solace in the arms of the easy-going guard. Reviews
I like pinoy movies
I definitely do not recommend this film to local critics, don't waste your time, definitely watch something else, because the camera work, especially in the first short story, is amateurish. But maybe it was on purpose. But that doesn't mean that I agree with the fact that someone's evaluation slips only into Buran homophobia, then the film is not evaluated as such, but an attitude towards something completely different. But for me, the film has its charm, above all in the fact that here I feel the pursuit of humanity, simplicity, the search for truth, what I like about Pinoy films, even if they do not reach the sky, the fact that Filipinos are open in the field of sexuality and above all, what I was very surprised about, several human truths appear in the translation, and I also appreciate that. I will definitely return to the film sometime and it was translated into Czech in the Czech Republic...Acting: No better than amateur porn stars.
Music: Maybe the sound of beeping horns can even lull you to sleep.
Rewatch Value: Not bored enough to do so again.
Overall Impression: This feature is actually just glorified porn trying to pass as avant-garde film. The stream of consciousness monologuing may impart some life truths that may seem profound, but they are overly gratuitous. I will not totally give this a zero though, but maybe an F for F-fort.
