The journey on the ride of their life...
Took my time to watch the finale cause I didn't want it to end. This drama was so sweet and fluffy. I loved it. It's not perfect tho but most of the issues I have could be fixed with more episodes; That being said, ToyBoss were an interesting couple but lost me within ep 8-9, they managed to make me like the confession scene for them tho, props to Yoon and Best cause it was really cute and heartwarming. I wish we got to know why exactly Boss is scared of loud noises and more time to show Boss going more outside of his comfort zone. Mayom and Deer's relationship left me feeling eh cause I feel everything Mayom did, he should've been doing it for himself and not just for Deer and Deer should've been up front instead of playing the jealousy game but whatever makes him happy. I at least enjoyed Deer's friendship with Tawan regarding her.Fern and Por...yea that's all I gotta say about them. Actually what did happen to Por after Tawan found out? I don't think it was mentioned where he went but I hope it's where the sun don't shine...
Mork's taxi bike friends were hilarious and supportive and I loved them up to the veery end ♡
I also loved gay uncles, best uncles Mork could ever ask for.
Also loved Tawan's sister and what I saw of his parents.
One other thing I wish happened was a scene with Khai, Tawan and Mork after the 4 year jump but oh well.
I'm gonna miss FlukeFame the most, their chemistry was everything. Just their stares alone made me feel things, hope to see them work together again one day but can't wait to follow what they do next.

It's just okay
Most of the show was pretty cringe esp Toy and Boss. It reminded me of the BLs back in the SOTUS era with ridiculous misunderstandings, cheating for no reason, bad kisses, and contrived pairings. The characters were 2D in a lot of ways - they didn't really grow as characters throughout and their personalities were just 1-2 character traits on steroids. The only thing I really knew about Tawan was that he was nice/caring and naive, for example. It's a bit too simple =/ And the Mayom and Nadia pairing made no sense, really. No depth to the liking or decisions. There were a few saving graces - the uncles, Cheep and Dej, the motorbike crew, Fueng, Jo, and Sing, and the beautiful scenery when they went up north. The uncles were phenomenal and a bit more dynamic - they were humorous, insightful, and showed an array of emotion and concern for one another. The motorbike crew was absolutely HILARIOUS. When they got off their bikes at the festival, I literally couldn't stop laughing. I liked that they were insightful and the right amount of nosey, making sure that Mork was taken care of and he didn't bottle his feelings. And of course, the ride up to Chiangrai -- the house, the forest, the cliffside. Ugh, it was SO beautiful.
The one hole that's bothering me the most...Did someone go back to get the uncle's truck!? He just abandoned it in the middle of the road LOL

My Ride does what Enchante Couldn't
My Ride and Enchante were both two shows that I went back and forth with... and some episodes were really good and some were ok... but boy oh boy.. that finale of my ride was stunning.. the music.. cinematography. the amazing shots and thankfully multiple kisses from them in one episodes.. that's how you do a finale RIGHT !! this was a solid BL and I'm really happy to have watched it. on the negative side... I really don't need to see Yoon in anymore BL roles.. his acting is very bland and the straight couple in the show did NOTHING for me... the acting from the cafe guy was weird to me.Was this review helpful to you?

Easy ride but nothing amazing
This was a super easy watch and I completed it pretty quickly. There also just wasn’t much substance or anything to really make this stand out to me. Everything about it is kind of just fine. The pairing is a little bit interesting. They almost get somewhere around the class difference between the leads. I think if they wanted to add more substance there could have been an angle on privilege. But either way, I will literally always give props to any story that isn’t centered around students lol.
However, their relationship… maybe I’m the only one but I never got the feeling that Tawan had any feelings whatsoever for Mork. It just felt like Mork was majorly in the friend zone and wasn’t coming out any time soon. There were times where it literally felt like Tawan was leading Mork on lol. And then Mork had to be the one to chase Tawan at the end? It would have felt more impactful if it was Tawan doing to chasing in the last few episodes. Instead it just kind of feels like Tawan felt bad for Mork and gave in. Maybe that was just me but that was the vibe I got from the whole thing.
I actually liked the side pairing between the Junior doctors. Love a good opposites attract, enemies to lovers side line.
But the barista and the doctor also gave similar vibes to the main couple. Where the doctor didn’t really seem to like the barista very much until he started getting attention from other people. Which is super selfish.
Anyway, it really was a super easy watch. Despite my gripes, I actually would recommend. I just probably won’t rewatch.

A very frustrating story...
Overall this show is watchable - if you don't mind a slow, somewhat frustrating story that doesn't quite stick the landing. Some episodes are better than others - ep1 was seriously hard to watch but things improved from ep3 onwards (until ep10 anyway) - and the pacing is more than a bit off but if a body can get past that - and the wierd framing of the doctor as a selfless victim (imo the character was extremely selfish and more than moderately annoying - the actor who played him did a fantastic job btw) - then who knows, you might enjoy it :)
I think the actors did a great job with a less than ideal script and despite not really liking any of the characters (except the two uncles, who were pretty good & the one side dish which actually showed character development) or the actual story, I do appreciate the skills required to have pulled it all off as believably as they did.
The music was okay - not terrible but not exactly memorable either.
Cinematography etc was good, lots of interesting visuals of the city and beautiful scenery - really enjoyed the different locations, and use of lighting/weather to convey emotions. All in all a well produced obviously not low budget show.
There were a few disturbing elements that I feel viewers should have been warned about. For instance, the injured dog (in ep2 I think?) and the copious amounts of blood in various other episodes (especially ep10) could be upsetting to certain viewers, but perhaps because the show centres around a doctor/hospital it won't come as too much of a surprise.
I may rewatch this at some point, if only because the secondary couple (Boss & Toy) made for an interesting progression.

Nothing fancy in this ride... but it was still good
When I watch and review a Thai BL series, I would normally tell you one of 6 possible scenarios... a) the series was a total disaster because of terrible writing/directing that also affected the acting and the story itself (see "Love by Chance 2", "Don't Say No", "Tharn-Type 2", "Y-Destiny", "Cause You're My Boy", "Secret Crush on You" or "Love Area 2"); b) the series was a boring experience because of long and dull scenes that moved the story at a glacial pace or the plot was uninspired, unoriginal or it got even more boring along the way (see "Tonhon-Chonlatee", "Bite Me", "Gen Y", "Gen Y 2", "Physical Therapy", "Call It Like You Want", "Call It Like You Want 2" or "Close Friend"); c) the series had lead actors who lacked some chemistry or their acting was a bit (or a lot) underwhelming (see "My Oxygen", "Golden Blood", or "My Boy"); d) the series started with some promise, only to fade into oblivion thanks to a confusing plot/storyline and the series had more episodes than it should have had (see "Top Secret Together", "Hidden Love" or "Love Stage"); e) the series was just plain, had nice moments either in the plot or with the actors, it served as decent entertainment, but was nothing memorable in the end (see "Bad Buddy" - seriously, if you take Ohm and Nanon out, you're left with nothing, "2gether", "Still 2gether", "Lovely Writer", "Fish Upon the Sky", "Siew Sum Noi", "Hometown's Embrace", "Enchanté", "You're My Sky", "My Engineer", "YYY" or "Nitiman"); or finally, f) the series was successful, had some flaws but it was redeemed by either great acting, good directing/writing, an interesting/original plot, good chemistry between the couples and/or did not rely in the excessive use of the usual Thai BL clichés (see "Until We Meet Again", "The Yearbook", "Not Me", "Manner of Death", "He's Coming to Me", "Something in My Room", or the combo "I Told Sunset About You"/"I Promised You the Moon"). Of course, you could argue that some of these examples might fall in the middle of 2 scenarios and, in other cases, because they are coming from a small budget company, the series suffer from something that can be either poor acting due to rookie actors, bad directing and low quality due to the money constraints. This time, "My Ride" is no exception as, in my opinion, it falls in-between 2 categories this time... it is a plain story that had some nice moments but I believe it was a bit more memorable than others in the end. Here's why (and I assume you at least read the summary of the plot)...
a. The couples: Here you have nice and not so nice... Mork and Tawan are the lead couple and I really like them in the series. Both characters are likeable and coming from such different backgrounds (one is a motorcycle taxi driver and the other is a doctor) but both have failed relationships as Mork breaks up with his girlfriend of many years, Fern, and Tawan is in a relationship with another doctor, Por, only for him to slowly find out that Por already has a boyfriend and he is cheating on him with Tawan. Both characters have to navigate through plenty of emotions dealing with their own relationships and mixed in the process, they find each other as Tawan begins using the taxi service near the hospital and Mork is his usual driver and both begin to realize they have feelings for each other. Both Fluke and Fame are the same age in real life and while I'm not sure if that actually helped their chemistry (we've seen BL couples with larger age differentials that simply don't work well together), this time it did make it look and feel less awkward when they had on-screen interactions. All their conflicts were always solved through talking (yes, maybe one or two episodes later than it should) but their feelings were sincere and they communicated unlike other couples we've seen in the past.
The other couples were the not-so-nice part as Boss and Toy and Dr. Nadia and Mayom had storylines that were not very original, had very little screen time compared to the lead couple, and their situation was nothing that inspired or excited me to see how the writer and the director would deal with it. Acting was a bit shady as well as I've never been a fan of Yoon (who plays Toy) as he has acted in quite a few BLs I've seen and I find him almost robotic... his expressions, his voice level and his demeanor barely change from one series to the next and from one character to the next. Best (who plays Boss) looked a bit stiff and awkward as he is only 20 years old and had to play a senior character to Yoon, who is 28 years old. The confession in the final episode felt a bit too dramatic and staged and Toy's reactions felt a bit fake. The other couple had few memorable moments... I would say that it was quite a contrast to see Ging (who plays Nadia) act in this series as she has a completely different role in here compared to the bitchy and whiny girl she plays in "Secret Crush on You". Pat (who plays Dr. Por) is already playing a nurse in the intriguing "Doctor, I'm Coming for Soul", so I guess doing double duty is the acting trend for some actors now.
On a side note, Mork's uncles were a delight and provided a nice comedic relief and some serious advice during the series so the characters were quite welcomed.
b. The storyline: Again, you have good and not so good... The idea of a motorcycle taxi driver and a doctor and a barista and a doctor ending up together is not as bizarre or as impossible as the rest of the motorbike gang or even Dr. Nadia kept trying to influence the lead actors during the series. The gang kept telling Mork that a doctor was more likely to get back together with the other doctor rather than choosing a poor and uneducated motorcycle taxi driver. Dr. Nadia kept telling Tawan that things between him and Mork might never work as they were different... I will never understand how social class, education or the salary you earn can play such an important role on the person I love, which made me dislike the storyline a bit. I felt that the story between Tawan and Dr. Por dragged along for a few more episodes than it was needed. We all knew that Por was seeing someone behind Tawan's back but we had to wait a while for him to finally find out and then we had to wait yet even more for Tawan to nearly beg for a second chance, be humiliated by Por's boyfriend, cry and cry and cry again, before he finally realized that Mork liked him and that he might like Mork back. Aside from the things surrounding their relationship, the main storyline of the lead couple was great as we slowly see them progress from being driver-customer to friends to possible lovers to being together for 4 years in the time jump we had at the end. The storylines of the other couples were meh, not so good, as Nadia plays hard to get and rejects Mayom only for her to be jealous of all the attention he is getting later and Toy tries to get Boss out of his comfort zone by pushing him to do things he's never done but by being annoying in the process. And in the miracle of miracles, when I thought the bitchy and whiny female character that wants the lead actor back would appear when Fern showed up to talk Mork into getting back together, I was pleasantly surprised when she reacted in a logical and cool way when he said no because he already was in love with Tawan... Fern reacted like all the other female characters (except Fon in "My Engineer" and Pan in "You're My Sky") should have reacted, accepting the fact that her relationship with the male lead actor was over and move on in a logical and mature way instead of going down kicking and screaming or plotting "evil" things that never work.
So, once again, "My Ride" ended up being a story that was certainly not perfect and it wasn't particularly original or innovative but that provided us with a nice lead couple with quite decent and entertaining interactions without having to include constant shirtless scenes, 139 kisses, one sex scene every other episode or naughty flirting to catch my attention. Nothing fancy in this ride, but it was still good.

My Ride: A One Way Trip
Let me start by saying Episode 8 pissed me off in every way i can imagine. every character except the uncles were stupid in this episode. literally every fckn character. i wanted to fight them all!Episode 8:
• Mork - bro how hard is it to tell the truth? when Tawan asks a question about being cheated on, you just stand there & stare. then when Tawan becomes upset, Mork whines and screams Tawan's name. good grief. bro just say the truth.
•Por - no comment! what a low life
•Top - forgive me if this wasn't his name. Por's ex. current. former. current again. cheater. cheating. loser.
Tawan - how many signs did you need to know you're being cheating on? bro you're risking your like & Mork's dimples in the rain for Por. look at Por & look at Mork. the choice isn't hard.
the episode was a hot mess!
The Series!
the series was great. watch it. grow with it. enjoy it! embrace the characters. is it realistic? of course not. not in this life! but for a BL series, it was great & well worth the watch!

okay, but I actually enjoyed this one…
idk what I was expecting going into this show. maybe kind of campy or a bit goofy or fluffy? but while it definitely has the older BL feel, this show has so much heart.this show was well balanced. nothing was overdone or outstayed it’s welcome. there was some miscommunication, but that’s a BL trope at this point. secondary characters/relationships weren’t tedius or too annoying.
this show made me feel things. they sat in moments just long enough and it was easy feel things in the moment. things were handled realistically (or realistically enough), nothing was rushed nor took too long.
I’m honestly impressed.
10/10 would recommend.

Adored it!
I don't understand why this drama doesn't have a higher rating, I enjoyed it a lot!!I would say, the acting was pretty good, the chemistry between the actors was amazing! Of course, this storyline is not out of this world, and I don't think that was the intention either. This was probably supposed to be a cute, lighthearted drama, and it gave what it was supposed to give.
I really liked Fluke and Fame's work on this! They both were very believable. I hope to see them do more projects in the future, whether together or separately. I especially loved Fluke's character, his eyes hold a lot of emotion, and it was nice watching him. Fame definitely was believable as well! Overall, I am glad I watched this! Hopefully, now that it's getting released on youtube, it will gain popularity because it definitely deserves it.
I don't know what it is about Roy's face, but it makes me wanna punch him every single time I watch him lmao. I don't mean this in a hating way, but this man looks like that one bird in Rio ? His face is too cute, it looks like he's mocking me every time I watch him lmao. But! he's a good actor as well, so I enjoy seeing his work. Hope to see more of his work in the future.
This drama is forever gonna hold a special spot in my heart. I 100% would recommend this if anyone is reading this to know that.

Soft & positive
Tbh i wasn't that excited for watching this, maybe because of the poster! I don't know!! But, it was such an amazing series. It was so good. Great cast and acting. Both main leads were adorable, and gosh that dimple ??It's a series with lots of good and positive vibes. It makes you smile.
My only issue was that their kiss was not realistic and the fact that they didn't give enough time for side couples. I really wanted to see more of their love story.
Overall, very enjoyable series and love to see them in other dramas soon

My Ride is a hidden gem
It’s a sweet story. I liked it very much. I hope to see the two main leads again in another series together. I really like their chemistry and acting, since this was the first series that I saw them in. The music in this series is very catchy in my opinion. Every time I watch a new series, I immediately search up the ost. I have an entire Thai playlist with all ost in it. It’s unfortunate that this series, Tawan and Mork only officially get together in the last episode. It’s an overall very easy drama to digest and an easy watch. It doesn’t have a lot of drama, except with Mork’s ex-girlfriend, but it’s not even that much. Mork is such a sweetheart. He’s very pure and gentle hearted. As is Tawan. They are perfect for each other. Was this review helpful to you?

They Dragged the Cheating Boyfriend Storyline for Way Too Long!!
My Ride would have been great.... If they didn't drag out the cheating boyfriend storyline.~~ STORY ~~
My Ride honestly could have been a contender for a memorable BL. It has a new and interesting pairing, a motorcycle taxi driver and a doctor. Also, Mork, the motorcycle taxi driver, is so adorable and cute. He is the perfect boyfriend! However, what hurt this BL was dragging out the cheater storyline. Also the side couples were not really amazing, but we'll talk about that later.
Before meeting Mork, Tawan ends up dating the doctor he's always had a crush on. That doctor starts ignoring Tawan and complains that Tawan is too clingy from day 1. We also learn that he is cheating on Tawan with his on-again-off-again ex. Meanwhile, Mork and Tawan are getting closer and closer by the day. It gets to the point where Tawan is clearly in love with Mork, but refuses to cheat on his cheater of a boyfriend despite the fact that his boyfriend is always ignoring him.
Anyways, that cheater storyline goes on for more than half of the series. It's annoying because we can clearly see Tawan falling for Mork, but choosing to let himself be manipulated by his cheating boyfriend. This cheating storyline should have been 2-3 episodes max, or have the cheating boyfriend have more screen time and become a major character. Because they dragged out the cheating storyline, the last few episodes felt rushed.
Also, if I could add my slight annoyances with this series before talking about the positives... They spend 3 episodes at the fair!!!! 3 WHOLE EPISODES!!!!!! Great because it felt like we were third-wheeling their entire date night, but did we really need to spend 3 whole episodes on one date night at the fair? Also, Mork having a "son" at the end was so random. I can see Mork actually taking care of his son and what not, but it was weird. Also, the girlfriend returning at the end was really unnecessary. Should have scrapped that drama and given it to Mork's son's storyline. We got too little information on Mork's son even though he's is going to be part of Mork and Tawan's family.
MORK x TAWAN
Mork and Tawan are absolutely adorable together. They really hit it off from day 1. Mork slowly falling for Tawan as the days pass is a beautiful. They don't have to being doing anything romantic to show they are in love. Mork always being there to listen to Tawan and to help him speaks louder than any of the romantic moments they had. Mork is really the ideal boyfriend despite being uneducated. The fact that he adopted his brother's son and works hard to make money for his son's education is amazing. Tawan still has a lot to go in terms of being the ideal boyfriend, but you can see that he is always thinking of others and puts his boyfriend first... Which is unfortunate for Mork until Mork takes that role from the cheater.
Overall Mork and Tawan were very cute together and I wish they got together sooner.
BOSS x TOY
I don't know if I like Boss and Toy together. Boss seems too stuck up for Toy. Boss is clearly not ready for a relationship and only thinks of himself. Toy, on the other hand, is an amazing character. He is interesting and fun. I'm sad that he likes Boss and they ended up together. I think Toy could do much better than Boss... or Boss needs to work on himself. He's slowly learning to be human and I hope Toy can help him with it.
NADIA x MAYOM
Skip this couple. They were boring and dragged on for no reason what so ever.
TAWAN x POR (x Kanghan)
Por is a piece of work and so is his on-again-off-again boyfriend Kanghan. The fact that Por started hitting on Tawan for fun, then getting annoyed with Tawan gets serious is annoying. Also Kanghan being petty and messaging Tawan to show up while he and Por are having sex is a nightmare. They should have just let Kanghan be the side piece and let Por dig his own grave. Making Kanghan petty and purposely message Tawan was unnecessary drama. We know Por is a piece of work, but Kanghan didn't need to be one too.
~~ OVERALL ~~
A nice watch. I'm not sure if I will rewatch this, but it's still a nice drama. I just wish they didn't drag the cheater storyline. Mork and Tawan are so cute! Mork is officially my ideal type of guy.
