AN EASY AND BEAUTIFL RIDE!
My Ride was such a surprise for me!It had no huge cringe scenes...had cute couples and had an appropriately, if not huge, good plot!!
As someone who was looking for cute bl to binge on, I enjoyed the series so much!
Fame's cute smile and Fluke's omfg dimples!!!... Killed me!!! Ughhh
I cannot talk enough about those dimples! That man's dimples are gonna haunt me for a while!
Side couples all had their sweet pace..
Yoon and Best were super cute as Toy and P'Boss!
It was 10 episodes of cuteness with no heavy shits!
It might not have much of a story and it might feel bit cliche at times but that was all pretty much the fun of it for me!
There were some breakups and cheating (not by the main leads or side leads) which could be easily overlooked with the lead's chemistry!
I did wish we get one more episode so we could see how during the 4-year leap, they managed with Tawan's new job, Mork's college, and his new shop all with together their relationship!
But.
Overall it was amazing! I do wanna see Fluke and Fame again together ? I am definitely not done with their chemistry!
Would totally recommend this if you are in need of something light!

Underrated IMO
honestly this series was a breath of fresh air for me after being disappointed by so many others series. that's not to say this is the utmost perfect bl series to ever exist, it definitely has its flaws. i definitely think this one is underrated! i cant believe im a whole year late to thisif you don't like slow burn or a lack of psychical touch i'd say this one is not for you, but you're missing out if you decide to skip. the progression of feelings towards one another felt so natural and believable and left me satisified for the most part with its build up. its so fluffy in the best way possible. definitely a series that you can sit down and watch without thinking too much.
mork and tawan are some of the sweetest characters i've ever seen, especially mork and HIS DIMPLES ?. theres so much i could say about mork, but the tldr is he's a sweetie pie, maybe too sweet for his own good. it honestly felt like watching two baby puppies give each other affection. i know its not big, but mork's carefulness when changing tawan was really nice to see, when in other bl series they'd take this as a chance to sexualize the situation. the only critique i give for this couple is on tawan's side i sorted of struggled to see any progression of feelings towards mork at times, but i also feel like mork was more focused on in terms of feelings developing. it also doesnt help that tawan broke up with por two episodes before the show ended. nonetheless their relationship progression was pretty smooth, couldve done without the ghosting trope at the very end though..
i appreciate how we were not given the evil ex girlfriend trope in this series, im tired of women in bl series literally being demonized.
the discovery of por being a cheater was dragged on for way too long, it shouldve been discovered way sooner, and i do think that realistically tawan was a bit too oblivious with all of it. as much as i love this series the conflict couldve been wrapped up and been 8 episodes instead of ten. not too sure where the rumors of por being a kind and caring person rooted from, all i saw was a petty coward who got in a hissy fit with boyfriend and decided to drag someone else along in it. mork punching him was definitely satisfying.
in most case scenarios i end up usually being interested in the side couples more than the main one, but that wasn't the case here. i think in itself thats a flaw and a good thing.
i didnt like toy's "playfulness" when it came boss especially when he decided to mess up all of his books that im sure boss had so tediously alphabetized, i'd be mad too. the progression of toy's development is a tad bit staggered to me, but it could be worse. the blackmail was never okay to begin with. however the sudden shift of boss being annoyed to reciprocating feelings did feel a bit bit rushed to me.
not too sure how to feel about nadia and mayom's relationship progression, i definitely dont think it was given the same attention as the other two couples were given. i love nadia but mayom just bores me im sorry...
aside from the side couples the other side characters were enjoyable as well, i honestly might have liked watching them more than the side couples. theres also trans rep in there and two gay uncles and mork's bisexual awakening ?

A Pleasant Watch
A lovely, and enjoyable series. I didn't expect to love it as much as I did. I loved that the love story does something different with a love between a doctor and a motorbike rider. Mork (Fluke) was stunning and great to watch, and his smile and dimple were too endearing.Uncle Cheep's and Dej's relationship was another enjoyable couple even with their constant banter. And Mayom was pretty great. I loved the consistency his character had. Fueang and his other two buddies and Mayom's assistant, provided us just the right amount of comic relief, and the OST grew on me after just the first episode that I wouldn't skip any intro just to hear it.
That being said, there were sides to it that make me give it an 8 and no more. Por and Tawan's dragged on relationship was something I wish had been introduced as an established relationship because it really was barely anything for it to drag on the way it did. And it took away time that could have been used more on Mork and Tawan's developing relationship. Mork and Tawan's relationship fell into just a few episodes and felt too short and too sudden that I wasn't really convinced.
This kiss, too. I don't care for "touch our lips together and call it a kiss" kisses so having to see it twice (even if one was just an imagination) was way too much. It's gives off more "uncomfortable" vibes than "we are in love."
The other doctor couple, Toy and Boss, didn't leave me invested in their relationship. The teasing may have been meant to come off to the audience as cute, but to me it was just Toy being annoying. There were instances I couldn't see it as anything other than blatant disrespect for someone's boundaries. Toy was just a jerk, but apparently that's what Boss was into so.

Cute but went a bit awol
This was pretty decent tbf. Very cute, good chemistry across the board, Yoon excelled in this annoying character role and his scenes were the funniest. The first 7 episodes were probably heading for an 8/10 but then the typical Thai BL final few episode shenanigans kicked off and it got a bit silly. The plot was nice and chill, nothing too angsty or stressful and some nice bonding, until the end where it felt like the writers went oh crap we need to add some drama to drag this out, after which a kid randomly showed up for one episode and then disappeared again, the ex gf reappeared and created a misunderstanding that could’ve been solved with ten seconds of sensible discussion and at one point Tawan fled to a mountain.
I also felt like the cheating boyfriend plot could’ve been exposed and ended like 3 episodes earlier instead of being dragged out as an excuse to keep Tawan and Mork apart.
The kissing was also kinda awkward? Not full dead fish levels but there was minimal mouth movement and all three kisses were essentially just chaste little pecks that reminded me of a ten year old’s first kiss. It was kinda disappointing given their chemistry.
Also it was nice to see Ging in a role that wasn’t the jealous bitchy ex/female love interest.

I am quite proud with GMMTV right now because they are really showing surprisingly good BLs now and they are doing it in a very fast pace. My Ride is not an exception. I know that you may not totally like this or get this one but I really dig the story. It is a simple story of two broken hearts finding solace in ecah other in this really funny BL. They also have an older couple living together as lovers. This is what struck me the most because we do not see it as often. We have an older couple who is a side character that made it work and showed us that it is possible. The relationship that they have was at center in certain moments but they are mindful of how they will characterize both of them. They may always fight but what I love about this is that they are treated just like any other couple. The story handled sexuality in a more logical sense. We already have an out gay lead character in Tawan and a man who is still trying to figure out who he is in terms of who he wants to love. I know that the story is simple but the execution is a success. - The relationship of Tawan and Mork my kind of meet cute. It is simple and we got to see their characters develop a bond as friends that would turn into lovers. There is this certain level of familiarity between the two of them that happened naturally that I wanted to put emphasis on. The days are also a bit blurry since Tawan is like working continuously in certain episodes that some days pass by so that is a bit unreliable. I do not mind that because I think it just make sense that it is how they are towards each other. I like the concept of their relationship too. There is something so charming about Mork. He may not be rich but what I have felt all throughout the series is how much of a good man he is. He is this sweet guy to a lot of people around him and he is surely the definition of boyfriend material. Those dimples are everything. I think the humility of the character of Mork is what I have missed in BLs. We see it every now and then but he is at front and center. He is not the super-rich top. In fact, he is trying his best to live every single day. He was not able to finish his studies but he is trying to earn his own money to help his family. He is now showering Tawan with gifts but he is understanding of him being a doctor and he is supportive of what he does. This is something that Por was not able to show Tawan. I can get that but he is also a doctor and they are working in the same hospital. I kind of wished that he was more considerate but Tawan is lucky to have Mork as well. The show did not end with something but just Tawan and Mork together in the province trying their best to live every day. There is something beautiful with how it ended so peaceful. Mork struggled with his sexuality as he tries to rationalize what he feels for Tawan who is already openly gay. This is where his uncles have been such a huge part and friends. There is a good set of side couples in the show and a heterosexual couple. The story of Toy and Boss is more on the cliched type of BL with someone uptight and the other one can be obnoxious. It is sweet. There are a lot of really good things and funny things in their story. It does not have much air time but I think they are a good couple. I would not mind watching a series for them. Nadia and Mayom had a more interesting story. One is a woman who is searching for the one and the other one is really shy. I think they could have had a really good love story at the beginning if they just tried to listen to each other. This would have been lot shorter for them. Luckily, they have good chemistry. I don't think a lot of people will enjoy it as much as I did but I would really recommend it still for the chemistry and comedic moments. It is one good show to watch. It is not perfect and there may be things that they can do better but I will commend them for giving a decent story with a lot of charming characters. I think the strength of the show is in its more comedic moments. There are a lot of really funny moments from the side of Mork. His circle of supporting characters are the funniest. I want to give a special shoutout to Feung who is the funniest character in the show. His mastery of physical comedy and timing is what elevated his character for me that I really enjoy watching him play it out really well. Dej and Cheep are also really funny from the way that they bicker. I want to highlight what they said about being honest with each other to make sure that the relationship would work. I think that is something that should have been highlighted more. It is good. It is worth rememberig, The simplicity of the show is what I really liked and enjoyed about it. It felt like I am watching a simple and good love story. It is so decent and pure that I find it cute. Was this review helpful to you?

Series about cheating and how to be a b#$&h
Could of been great, could of been about falling in love with someone from different worlds one rich one poorer etc, but no lets have everyone just cheat. Like come on TAWAN was cheating on Por the whole time. Not just Por cheating. Mork chased after Tawan after he got dumped by long time girlfriend whom was cheating on him.Give it, wasnt for all the cheating, they could of been great together.
Second couple Troy and Boss could of been great but was just weird. Should have had own series to get to know them better.
Please dont get me started on the third couple Nadia and Mayom. She was a complete stuck up b#$&h, could not stand her stuck up I only want a rich partner attitude, she is what is wrong with society today and Mayom who is successful in his own right tried to be more for that cow, when he was perfect being himself. Why??????????
On a positive note uncles were brilliant and it was great to see an older gay couple, lovely.

Slow pacing feel good content
First, I re-watched it approximately whole 4 times, since it's completely aired. This is the perfect series for rainy Sunday afternoons.
Mork, a simple motorcycle-taxi-guy with a great heart fell in love with Tawan, a doctor with passion for his job.
As simple as the plot is, it's adorable to watch them fall.
The whole story is slow pacing, but I loved it.
I like that Mork doesn't make a big fuzz about falling in love with a guy.
I love that his uncle lives with the love of his life, a man.
I adore the DIMPLE of Mork.
I had a lot of fun to watch the male/male side-couple.
I appreciate all the supportive characters, especially the taxi-driver-trio.
I don't know how to describe: all the characters are quite natural and no one is without flaws, it's just kind of realistic.
For me, the story about the best friend of Tawan wasn't necessary. It was good for a balance of couples, but it has taken to much screen time from the adorable main couple. But that's just my opinion.
The whole cast did a great job. The characters were written so good. The funny characters weren't over the top. The "mean" characters had a natural development and reactions. The "good" characters had their flaws.
For me, the complete series is just like a warm blanket, to comfort You on bad or cold days.

Wonderful premise, weak acting
I just love a good medical drama and at that also BL. So fun. Although this does not classify as medical drama, the lead is a doctor (Tawan). He develops relationship with a motorbike driver (Morm). Look at Mork more as a Grab driver, than Mario Casas in 3MSC.The couple is cute even though their character traits are barely developed. I got to know a bit more about Mork than Tawan, but it seemed that focus on other characters sidetracked the main story. Why did Tawan choose IM as his specialty? Why does he have such attitudes towards saving a relationship? Why does Mork actually like Tawan? Why did Mork give up everything for Fern? How is it possible that two worlds collide?
Side characters are warm and fun, the uncles and the moto gang. Very cute and supportive but too bad they had more character than the leads. Chemistry between the leads was also weak for me.
Overall...Does not require much from you as viewer. Nice drama, feel good, empty brain.
Besides that, it is short and has no major issues really. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for reading!

Solid Thai BL with blue-collar characters
If I had to recommend some Thai BL dramas, then this one would be among the recs for someone who has seen a few already and wants to explore the genre some more. What I liked:
* Highest point: Blue-collar workers in a lot of roles and as love interest, which is a refreshing deviation from all the super-rich college boys, who I am sick of. We need more normal people in Thai BLs. In connection to that, a gentle critique of classism.
* Very gentle and smooth evolution of the main couple. I love how they care for and respect each other. The dynamics between them feel very equal from the first time they meet (which is reflected by the use of names instead of titles and the pronouns เรา /rao/ and นาย /naai/).
* Workplace setting; hospital with a good balance of medical jargon and not too much nonsense.
* middle-aged long-term same-sex partners as advisors and role models, who get a decent amount of screentime.
* a trans gender person in a non-comedic role.
* the three riders, who provided not only comedic relief but also gave Mork the occasional insight.
* The acting is decent, if a bit uneven on Fluke's part (Mork). Pat (Por) was excellent as the slimy boyfriend.
What I did not like:
* the doctor-only couple. I'm allergic to bullying (and what Toy does, can only be called bullying). Yes, he does apologize in a way, but even after, he "teases" Boss, and runs rough-shod over his mental needs, we almost never see Toy respect them. Boss is shown as an introvert, with a sensitivity to explosion noises and a need for his order and rules. In their progression, it's Boss, who has to change much more than Toy and "overcome" his needs. Also, there's no real connection to the main couple , other than that they both work under Tawan. I would have liked to see more of the love story between Fueng and Kru Ai than them.
* The critique of classism ends when the relationships get serious -- only after Nadia learns that the barista owns his café and is a famous YouTuber, she accepts his advances. Mork starts his college education to be able to "care for Tawan" (which shouldn't be needed, Tawan should earn enough as a doctor.) and even ends up with the same hairstyle (helmet-like and styled upwards) as all of the higher-class characters.
* A bit of inconsistency in how and when Mork realises his feelings -- he does so twice in ep. 4 and in ep. 7.
* The sub-plot with the kid could have been improved with a bit more room -- as it is, it doesn't feel like an organic part of the whole story. The kid appears, is there, and disappears again. At least, maybe show him in the epilogue scene?
* Por and his boyfriend have more heat between them than the main couple -- either tone one down or give the other a bit more intimacy.
Overall, a solid 8 objectively -- in my feelings, it's more a 9 because of the gentle progression and the respect in the main couple and the blue-collar characters.

Lots of potential, average delivery. ?
The story of how a doctor and a bike-taxi driver meet and fall in love despite their backgrounds has lots of potential; in my opinion tho, it missed a lot of notes, but the interwoven stories helped make it watchable and more entertaining.Tawan and Mork's story is very cute and you will love them individually and together, but overall their story is not without faults. I became extremely exasperated at their entire situation a lot of times, clearly seeing what was going to happen in the next episodes. I blame my own knowledge of so many BL tropes. But still the people behind a show should work harder to surprise their audience and be innovative with their storylines. And both actors' acting needs a little work, their more emotional scenes leave a lot to be desire.
The other couples' stories were great to fill time between what was happening with the main couple. Boss/Toy stole my heart little by little and they were very consisting till the very end. I just wish they had more screentime and a little more development.
At first it felt like the story was all over the place but by episode 4 it became clear the story needed a slow beginning, the problem with this is that with only 10 episodes to work with some things did felt kind of forced and rushed.
If you can find somewhere to watch this show with good subtitles and you want something light and fun. Watch it. Although it has some flaws, the story is cute and it has a good ending. <3

Smooth Ride
I waited for this to be completed so I could binge watch, and that's exactly what I did lol It was nice to see some familiar faces and even nicer to see some new ones. The story itself was not only super cute but had good meaning behind every character. It did get a little bland in the middle cause it kinda went in circles and got to the point I was like "There's no way someone can be this dense!" but in reality, we always are going to try to keep ourselves from getting hurt and I think that's what our MC really tried to do. The side couples got good screen time and I highly recommend cause the cute and quirky moments are to die for!Enjoy...
