Cliche but cute light watch
As a long-term modern Chinese rom-com watcher, I expect storylines to be reused. But I'm just here to watch a feel-good rom-com. Chemistry between the leads is aight and they try to add the little twist with placing this drama in the dubbing industry (its not much of a twist lol). The OST, some cute moments, and no real pea-brained character made this drama a nice light watch. I would rewatch if I'm ever bored and looking for comedy with no strings attached. I'm only up to episode 22 but the writers have been playing it pretty safe so I don't expect a bad ending. Also, the acting isn't bad, Sun Yi Ning (Amy Sun) performs pretty well once again.Basically, don't expect this drama to leave you shook. But it was a quality production (esp that OST) so this drama still ranks aight in my eyes.

It's sweet as it's name.
This drama was like vanilla ice cream plain and sweet without any major twists and surprises. So you won't feel any thrill it's just a light, cute and fluffy drama with lots of cliches in it that will definitely make you cringe.It's a fairytale with happy ending. Probably Cinderella story. Rich, handsome, talented and there's even more he's her idol also so basically it becomes so unrealistic but if you like this type of stories then this is your cup of tea. It doesn't have many silly misunderstandings, breakups yeah but there's a irritating I mean very irritating second FL that's her character is only made for to we hate her. Still is wasn't bad it was good dose of fluffy ness after watching some serious stuff. The acting and execution was good, I liked the fact that FL wasn't dumb and ML wasn't mean.
Overall it was okay, it was good watch I enjoyed it's cuteness and sweetness...

Cute and surprising
I like this drama is sweet and very cute. The characters are well written and thru the story you keep smiling. There are some part that I felt they could have kept out of or made stronger. The lead female character sometimes is to naïve and and sugar sweet. The male lead character comes on strong and I did not understand what made him change to like her. The obsessive girl by his side was a boring character because it seem so many drama are putting this same kind of character. If she really grew up with him and care so much for his family she would have back off and be happy for him. She would not have made him hate her with the stupid stunts she pull. But I still love this drama. The actors performance was great and the cast had a very good chemistry. I especially like the story of the supporting characters. I was glad to see that we saw what happens to them at the end of the drama. The story is very much telling us that persistence and believing in yourself you will make your dream come true.Was this review helpful to you?

This drama is about a boss who is an idol in secret in the company no one knows but one of the fans meet him by chance and they both hate each other but the girl doesn't know that he is her idol by coincident they become neighbours also she gets accepted in his company as a secretary but in the company another man gets told that he will fall in love with someone who is obsessed with cactuses by chance the female lead is holding a cactus so he believes its her that makes the boss jealous but because of the cactus situation he likes her but the cactus she was holding was for her roommate and as soon the man finds out that her boss lives next door he also moves in and captures the heart of the female leads roommate.I wont spoil anymore but this drama is unique one difference is i have seen is that some dramas and they have a love triangle but the two men like the same girl but the girls bestie likes one of the males normally this would break friends apart but in this show that didn't happen i really envy the characters emotions in this drama its worth watching for more reviews please check out my page. xxx

from cute to bad
First i like the actors but omg i really am so disapointed in the story.It started cute and many people did not liked the actress,I liked her but sometimes she really was so dumb,She believes everything and get bullied so easily.She never gives a bad reply back.And that was really a bummer.
I have never and i mean never has found a sfl so annoying.I also did not like the 2fl in something about one procent but in this one...she was so stupid,selfish and rude.Only thinking about herself even tries to destroy the fl and did not give a damn about the company.The ml and 2fl were friends and never dated but she thinks it only is the fault of the fl.Then her minions omg so annoying. This story i will not rewatch it and please dont wast your time.Started cute and fun then get gringy .Good ending but that was for me too late too give a good rating. The second couple really did not much for me .

Another boring cdrama that so predictable
there is no real chemisrty between the ML and FL in this story , the 2nd ML is a stupid char that so poor actingthe FL char is so stupid too , how can she still easily believe in luoli after all what she done to her ? and the ML also stupid too he already knew yan ran like him n he doesnt even know what yan ran n luoli do to revenge against her? and the FL try to act sweet but she is not ,she is just plain stupid and annoying naive too

rookie voice dubbing actress meets ceo of a radio company
To be honest .. not sure if my review was affected by reading the other reviews prior to watching. To me this drama was kinda bland and lacking a little something. Its average in the sense that I didnt think it was super good but not that bad lol in the middle. Some review said its cliche... kinda?Female lead's dream has always been becoming a voice actress. She applies for a role but turns out it has been replaced. The people hiring her was also in need of an assistant, so they hired her. She is a plain, simple girl. Her voice actor crush is none the other but her boss. It's a secret that the boss is a voice actor, because he is actually an CEO of a radio station. She and her boss start off at the wrong foot, because he thinks female lead is a stalker. First encounter was leaving her bag on his car, then living across from him and hen becoming his assistant. He teaches her about voice dubbing. The radio station came up with a series and the female lead thinks her idol is the best fit for the male lead. She tries to contact him , and the male lead starts to spend more time and get to know her more. Slowly they fall in love...
To me i didnt feel the chemistry between the leads. Maybe its the fact that i felt like they didnt go through enough to build that relationship to be believe- able. I mean there was a good amount of kissing scenes but to me it all felt passionless. Maybe the female lead didnt make me feel she actually liked him? The male lead was the one initially almost all the supposedly passionate kisses. I felt the second pairing has better chemistry and better passion. I mean the second male lead was better looking that the male lead >_<
The second male lead was kinda cringy and exaggerated but he was funny. lol some people might find him too much.. too narcissistic. His solo time by myself was hilarious.
Some parts I didnt care for as much
1) annoying ass third female , trying to ruin the relationship of the female and male lead. I mean in dramas its pretty typical, the male lead is loved by the third female who is best friends from young.... Ugh her character is so annoying, so lu cha.... I didnt like the fact that she used her status to put down the female lead who was a rookie voice actress.
2) the plot development was kinda just stuck there. The whole drama it only focused on one project that they were working on and trying to find the right cast for the dubbing... The female lead didnt really grow in her profession , she was still just a rookie and just got bullied and picked on. its only an total of 24 episodes... (s o maybe they cant add too much). The storyline is based off voicing dubbing but i think romance is more of the focus...
3) male lead wasnt even there to protect her from the two times she got bullied....
I'm going to end up dropping and not watch the last episode... its pretty average but if you have nothing to watch, you can go for it.

Not Good Enough
Chinese Drama " You Are So Sweet " was adorable at first but soon it went downhill. The interesting factor about this drama is that it takes place in the dubbing industry and it gives some insight, while variating the story from the other office dramas. The twist with the hidden celebrity and his fan was also entertaining for a while, even though it was hard to believe that she didn't even think that her boss might be her idol, even after working with him. The second couple was another nice touch.However, the drama quickly got boring and predictable, as they started using cliche scenes and twists. The main couple had plenty of sweet moments, but their chemistry was lukewarm and the big surprise factor with the real identity of the male lead was not handled well and, thus, ended up losing its momentum. The second couple's story was stretched too thin and they had to rush them in the end for them to have a proper ending. The second female lead was too much of the typical villain and she didn't surprise the audience. The rest of the side characters were pushed aside. Another small note here, I must add, is the questionable choices for the leading lady's clothes.
Finally, the performances were pretty good and everyone did great with their characters.
So, overall, four and a half out of ten.

The story goes around a girl and a boy , which eventually fall in love and depend and support each other. The couple goes through unnecessary obstacles and some needed confrontation. I really like the supporting characters in the series they are genuinely funny and confident. The Female Lead is the epitome of cuteness and innocence, which can sometimes be too much for some people.

This drama is a simple, but fluffy romcom. It's entertaining enough, but a couple weeks from now I don't think I'll be able to recall much of the plot, then again is there really a plot? There are two sets of subtitles for this drama, the machine translated ones on YouTube are unintelligible, the fan made subs are better, however even those are suspect, especially for the first 10-12 episodes. Some of the dialog does not make sense. Either the writer really tried to insult my intelligence, or the subber made up some lines..
The romantic progress of the OTP in the early episodes felt strange, almost jittery to me. That's why I brought up the issue of subtitles, because in Chinese the romance might just flow much more smoothly, at least in those early episodes, it was fine later on.
I think the leads had okay-ish chemistry, nothing extraordinary, but it was fine. In the comments the issue of age gap has been brought up. I don't see what the fuss is about it, in fact the actress is 2 years older than Eden Zhao. Yeah they made the FL appear juvenile here and there, but it's not like Eden Zhao looks like a mature individual or anything. I thought that they were pretty cute together, I enjoyed their fluff and I can easily digest this much sugar. It's nice that there was no breakup, nor did the secondary love interests have any chance, but I wouldn't necessarily call the triangle weak, see evil side bitch below..
The biggest problem in this drama is the evil side bitch and her minions. Her plots & schemes were ignored for way too long and her plotline is like 30% of the drama. Instead of the usual "FL wins these skirmishes & then the face slapping commences" situation, the characters just ignored her and "turned the other cheek" for like 15 episodes.
In a drama like this expecting realism is a stretch, so it's not surprising that they completely misrepresented how real voice acting work is produced, but I wasn't bothered too much. (I could be wrong too, since Chinese dubbing is typically so horrifyingly bad that who knows, they might just really do it like this)

Overall I just turned off my brain and I have been sufficiently entertained. It's best not too think to much while watching this drama, because once you do you will realize how toxic and weird these relationships are and then suddenly it's like 2/10 trash.

Fluffy, cliche romance! Highly recommend <3
what a lovely drama! exactly to my taste :) the acting is brilliant, the story is paced well and the cast has amazing chemistry. i love the light, fluffy 24 episode modern chinese dramas and this is the PERFECT example of it. i wish they would have done more steamy kisses like love is sweet, i feel like this drama would have suited that hehe also, petition to see amy and eden in a historical drama please! they could defo both pull it off :Di enjoy cliche dramas if it’s done well (which this drama did very well), but if you don’t like cliche stuff and looking for something more riveting and eventful, then this one might not be for you.
overall, i give this drama 10/10, i cannot fault it. definitely worth the watch if you love the fluffy romantic dramas <3

Sweet, stupid, fluffy...
As a regular C-drama watcher I came for the fluff, and indeed I got the fluff in abundance. This drama is packed with love confessions, missunderstandings and utter sweetness.The male lead only kisses the female lead once in her sleep and only forces a kiss on her once. The rest of the time all kisses seem to be consentual and overall the male lead is very loving and a good boyfriend if you are willing to forget the forced kiss, she definitely dousent seem to mind it and kisses him back by the end of it.
I do however believe the titel "you are so stupid" fits this drama better, this since the female lead constantly falls in to her loverivals traps. The female lead is ofcorse overly nice to eaverybody and kills her rivals with kindness.
The second couple is midannoying, the female in the couple is smart but a total stalker, a forgiving stalker who thinks ahead but still a stalker.
But if you are like me in it for the fluff Its an okay drama to watch but please if your partner forces themselvs on you run for the hills, its not romantic.
