Good job

Gulnezer Bextiyar (Yu Jing Qiu) and Xu Kai (Dongbo Xue Ying) congratulate excellent acting. As a couple, the chemistry was perfect for the theme.

7.7 is too little.

Lots of arm movements must have gotten tired.

This show represents DongHua Lord Xue Ying. This DongHua is beautiful.

I know portraying a Donghua of this level in a drama is difficult but the production effort was good.

Here it is also evident that it is possible to change the script, some adaptations here do not exist in DongHua. Changes I didn't like but the production has budget limits.

Watch it, you won't regret it.

Yes it's long and can get tiring, just skip it.

Good show to you.

The Story needs you to pay attention to every detail.

you cannot just watch this one in an absent mind. you need to take note of every character and what they have said and then you will begin to understand the overall story. I know they would have done better though.

for me this story is Good. I love the suspense it gives me. wanting to find out the end game of all the demons and the human struggle... and who will really be a savior? the Male lead is good. I'm every aspect. I enjoy watching him character develop in the story. I enjoy watching how intelligent his mind is and will always think careful before making his judgment.

there's this villain in this story, I am really looking forward to uncovering who he really is because they are really playing mind games with us ?? Especially Ep30.

you should try this Drama.

The author intended to kill everyone in the series. Less than 2 rating

This series is very utterly disappointing ?, the author killed off every character and left only 4 people ? thats outrageous!!! Felt like the author was so confused they annihilated the entire cast just ro prove that evil is stronger than righteousness.

How can elders have such little sense and they are the top leaders of martial arts, except the author was intentionally trying to paint the elders as week, stupid and dull.

The love stories were sad ? very very sad. How could they have very extremely thoughtless elders and lovers ? How could Qunishi be such an idiot?

Amazing Actors and Lousy Plotline

Watching this cdrama hurt on so many levels. It started as a very promising fantasy fighting series with a dramatic plot and gorgeous cast. Xu Kai and Gulnazar look quite amazing as a couple, although the girl does seem a bit cold and the chemistry wasn't really hot and sparkly, but they looked good together and the romance was okay. But then the plot just went down the hill so fast that it was hard to keep watching.

☼From smart to stupid in a heartbeat☼

Xukai's character, XueYing, as well as his Shifu and a bunch of other characters, started off as being smart, brave, and resourceful. They played well against the Demon clan, seeing through their schemes. But then, in a matter of a few episodes, everyone seemed to suddenly lose their intellect. The most obvious traitors were overlooked and the Demon clan was always one step ahead of the good guys in a very unnatural manner. It's not that they were super smart, it's just that the Xia clan guys suddenly became super stupid. Not to mention XueYing's brother who ignored the bad girl being super bad despite everything XueYing was saying (indeed, he was the smartest of the bunch, but it didn't help them in the end). Very questionable actions of Shifu (Chi Qiu Bai), who could have avoided the disaster if he only talked to someone about what he was going to do. Like seriously, he didn't have to do any of the weird stuff he did in the name of the greater good.

☼Too many deaths and sacrifices☼

This is a George Martin-level amount of deaths in a series, like Game of Thrones style. But in Snow Eagle Lord many of the deaths were unnecessary and the plot didn't really logically lead to them. But the director was going for a super drama, maybe that's why the plot turned out like this. Sacrifice is one of the main themes in the series, so be prepared to see many of the characters not valuing their lives or effortlessly dying because of a screenwriter's whim. At some point, it started to get annoying even, and I stopped connecting to what was happening on screen because it was kind of rushed and illogical. But I know many people suffered along with the characters and were really sad to see them go.

☼The cast was still amazing☼

The cast did an amazing job - all the main and secondary characters were great, believable, and looked cute in their roles. Seriously, a very nice group of actors who had lovely chemistry between them playing friends, rivals, and love interests. In this regard, I can't say the show is bad because I did enjoy watching many of the episodes and interactions. I have to say that Xu Kai did an outstanding job portraying XueYing - he did a lot of fighting scenes, as well as many other characters, and depicted a very determined and strict young man, who still got a little bit more human with time, falling in love and making some friends. But he was hero material and you could feel that in the portrayal of the character. All the elders were great, as well as Shifu, who didn't get to enjoy a peaceful life with his loved one because of an untimely character death. All the bad guys looked cool and acted well, too. Some of them were too pretty to hate, but believable nonetheless.

☼Conclusion☼

In the end, I can't say this drama is a complete waste of time, but it's not so good either, in many aspects. It's hardly worth re-watching, but if you're a fan of Xu Kai or any other actor from the series, you should probably give it a try. I enjoyed all the fighting scenes very much, as well as the special effects and training sequences in the series. It was interesting to watch.

Chaotic. But also relatable.

I was intrigued to watch when YT algorithm suggested this to me and I saw Bai Shu in the cast, I love him so much. This drama reminded me on Fighter of the Destiny, because of the from zero to unintentionally hero story and Gulnezer Bextiyar falling for that guy lol.
Firstly, I want to mention what I really liked about this drama. And that is Xueying's character. It was written so well. We did not have a hero who was just an I'll Fight Bravely At All Times, we had a guy who had to grow up fast to become a support to himself and everyone around him. The internal torment, the doubts, wanting to run away from everything because it's too overwhelming, shouldering responsibilities, losing the will and reasons, that was just so perfectly written. That was very relatable.
And now, my long, long comments about the chaos this drama was. The scene and situation jumping.... Without an explanation of a buffer sentence, we jumped from one scene to another. You could figure it out, but I still would've appreciated some "we need to get here to obtain that" and cut scene, go. Speaking of cut scenes, I like the comic ones, that was something new. But why did they fade out throughout the drama? Maybe as the storyline progresses from a lighter story to serious and dark, the producers thought that the comic cut scenes would have ruined the mood or what. If they would have been placed well, it could've worked. Anyways.
I love this genre, but I will never come to terms with the abundance of good guys deaths (I mean too many of good guy deaths). In this drama, 98% of the good guys died. Why. Just why. Did we need to highlight the hero and put in more deaths to his burden? Ugh... Youyue should not have died. Give my guy Puyang Bo the transcendent wife, damnit. We could have has two happy endings, not just one. I generally dislike when they write a couple who will confess their love shortly before dying. Like, why now? I get it, it is like that sometimes. But Situ Hong and Zhuo Yi.... They definitely needed a longer development than 5 minutes of Episode 39. I would have appreciated if Situ Hong turned the tide a little more too.
Chi Quibai took the Soul Scouring Nail on him, he fought it, tried to remove it, Ao Lan told him that he could control him over it and then it just wasn't mentioned anymore. At one point it looked like Ao Lan removed it but there was no word of it whatsoever.
Another confusing point was, why were there only Uncles as half beasts? Were there more beasts? Why weren't they mentioned throughout? There's literally one scene in the first episodes where Zong Ling mentioned that he's a weresnake and his organs are different and thus the demonic poison affects him differently. And then we forgot about it.... also, even a hot headed guy like Tong San would have been more careful when he would discover a secret chamber with the bad guys in it. That plot was just dumb.
I did like the wedding but I disliked the drama. It was so unnecessary that Jinqiu found out the poison. This plot should have been successful and she should have been sent home in peace. We already had the emotional torment of "they can never be together", we did not need betrayal by friends and family.
The pendant which was given to Xueying also didn't really have it's potential. I thought that it would have some special energy in the end, like it could revive his mother. It should "have all you need" and as long as I understood, it kept stuff inside. Like the spices Xueying used for the fish. And then it was just a light up stone. Why was it given so much attention and plot time then?
This is all I can think of atm. Idk how to wrap this up... Maybe with a Watch if you like to, its okay. Just chaotic at times.

Demons always in control. Human were so dumb.

It's got a good story flow. But then the main problem with this drama is that it looked like the demons were the ones in control. The heros looked to be some foolish and stupid people who weren't even smart in every plot.
Another problem with chinese dramas like this is that they show more of good people dying in dramas. We always want to be satisfied in the end. Then you show us someone like youyue dying in the end of a drama.?
We always want to at least se villains suffer but yiu instead five them an easy death. Ao lan was a top villain in the drama atleast show him suffer because he really made the heros suffer. But you mostly highlighted heros like youyue die. It leaves no satisfaction for is who like watching Chinese dramas. Even though it's following a script. A script can be changed coz it's made by humans. We watch dramas with expectations of satisfaction and happiness in the end not heart breaks. The ending was good fine but not that satisfactory.?

I’m a huge fan of the male lead in the series. He is truly amazing.
I was initially reluctant to watch this series after the first few minutes because of some of the graphics but I decided to press forward. The first few episodes were Really good and I thought it was going to progress into something a bit more exciting however what I discovered was that there is a great deal of repetition in the series. I don’t remember watching a series that seem to revolve around the bad guys winning so much. In a 40 episode series , up to episode 35 and the bad guys are still winning. This is even with our male lead gaining strength and finding his own power. I have to be completely honest as a viewer, I don’t fine too much joy in watching the bad guys win, but this was more than just the bad guys winning. It really seem like it was a series about how the villains dominate all the time. The series was honestly filled with schemers plotting while the good guys missed the moment. I believe it is due to this reason that the rating is so low. Yes, we all can go for a really good underdog story about how they overcome but they were very few epic moments where the good guys won the battle. Even when they won something , the villain still seemed to get away. It was just not that great.

What I liked about the series was the acting and the fighting scenes are pretty nice. What I dislike about this series was that it seemed a bit one-sided in regards to winning and losing. After a while there appear to be very few characters that were redeemable. Nobody was trustworthy.

First time dropping a drama

Why put forward four characters on the poster and in every trailers to then barely give them screentime? The plot is such a mess, you can tell even the four ""main"" characters are confused about what they're doing here...

There's no real rhythm to it, some plotlines could have been solved ages ago but get dragged on and on. The betrayals are not even believable unless you're willing to accept that every character is too dumb to see what's right in front of them.

I stuck to it for a little longer because the four mains are really sweet (even if the FL literally has two facial expressions -and I hate saying people can't act but come on?) and you want to see what happens to them, but I didn't make it far and skipped entire scenes to eventually drop the whole thing.

I'll give it two good points: as said previously, the four main characters are sweet, and the comic book style visuals are rather nice.

To sum it up: If you like deep and meaningful characters, you won't find it in there; if you like Xu Kai dramas, you'll barely see him; if you love revenge stories: you've been deceived.

Even Xu Kai Can't help

Another drama that I drop. Combination of drama slump, busy day & bored drama, really drained my energy & RN I don't have extra energy to be drained. So yeah dropping is the best decision for this drama.

I don't know what went wrong with this drama. Maybe the combination of anime & cartoon that not on the right track, plus also everything revealed much too soon. Let me explained

Combination of anime & cartoon like what...? Well, for the first time in my collection of Martial Art drama that I've watch, I think this is the first one where every new moves given title like in old time cartoon/anime. More over the BGM also don't help, sometimes it's way too cartoony for me. What do you mean too cartoony...? Well you have to watch to understand, I don't have other word to describe it. And also a little bit cartoon in every episode to emphasize not helping this drama at all...

Everything revealed much too soon? Yeah from the beginning we already know who the bad guy/girl, even though we still don't know what their purpose for Dongbo Xue Ying in the end. Even they also revealed who the hidden agent among the good guy way too soon in my opinion. It's like they have no element of surprise again to be revealed later on. And that make me feel bored maybe... Haha...

In the end I try a good amount of episode (20 or half drama to be exact) before call it quit. Oh I try, even for my Xu Kai, to watch the end to see will I care about the ending or at least care to know how it become like that. Why...? To see do I still care enough with ending or process to endure the torment watching this drama. And to answer that. NOOOOO!!! Big NO NO. I don't give a d*mn care. So yeah I dropped this.... Haha....

The Humans earn any Losses that come their way.

The Good:
-Acting- All of the cast seem to be putting in the effort to be the characters they portray, no obvious evidence of anyone phoning it in.
-Relationships- The main squad forms up pretty well and for as far as I watched they kept getting better and having more trust in the group. I love watching squad vs the enemies shows especially when the team fully uses everyone's unique attributes.
-Fights- Now this one is a bit iffy but that just means it ends up getting noted twice. The action and choreography in the fights is pretty good especially the actual martial arts.
The Bad:
-Plot- Starts out pretty basic protagonist with dead/missing parents and a quest to save/get revenge. ML does all the training but, surprise he has [insert plot disadvantage here] so he needs a [insert wise mentor here] to help him realize his limitless potential. So far not the worst ad definitely still watchable. Where the compound the issues with this poor plot is that [bad guys] are always 4 steps ahead, everyone outside the main squad is either, weak, incompetent, a traitor, a spy or just a full on moron.
-Fights- This is also related to the plot and its's probably the other 40% of why I gave up. The main cast 20 episode in has not even once gotten a clean win or even a win in any situation that matters. At every critical juncture the villains come out on top even when the protagonists "win".

I got to episode 20, the protagonists ate another plot convenience loss and I just couldn't hold out any longer. Directors and writers need to learn that small wins for the protagonists help keep the viewer engaged. Knowing the bad guys are going to win every encounter till the end where the good guys then use the [insert random plot power] to win at the last moment is a snoozefest.

The fact that these episode are about an hour long means I effectively wasted a day of my life watching this. Hopefully no one else makes that mistake.

Drama is one of the most beautiful and the highest form of artistic expression. It is a harmonious blending
of dance, art, verse, melody and action. It is a long literary composition like the novel, a great source of
entertainment and the most appealing medium of instructions. While the novel is a long narrative tale complete
in itself, the drama is not complete in itself. It develops through dialogues and actions amongst the characters on
the stage and requires a large set of external equipments such as a theatre, a stage fully equipped with curtains,
lights and sound for it presentation on the stage before an audience. Drama is also different from other literary
genres because it is mainly designed for performance and not reading like a novel and thus is a public affair. The
term drama is originally derived from the Greek word meaning ‘action’ or ‘act’ or ‘to do’. It can also be definedas a specific mode of fiction represented in performance on the stage by actors. It deals with a problem in its plot
and may end either happily or unhappily.
It is almost certain that drama, in every part of the world, originated in the ritual ceremonies connected
with some sort of religious worship. The use of the term owes its origin to mid-18th century France, when Diderot
and later Beaumarchais used the word ‘drama’, to describe their plays of middle class life. In modern usage,
however, the word drama is frequently extended to all serious plays. Drama is thus a literary artistic representation
by actors who perform the action and dialogue and impersonate the characters.
There are many forms of drama. Some of them are Comedy, Tragedy, Chronicle plays, Mosque, Miracle,
Mystery and Morality plays. Dramatic components include act, atmosphere, chorus, plot, character, setting,
soliloquy, dramatic illusion and stock characters while the different Dramatic styles are Expressionism, Realism,
Naturalism and Symbolism.
So far as the plot-structure of a drama is concerned, it has a well-defined division. Before the action takes
place, the drama begins with a background. This part is called the Exposition. Then the plot or action develops
slowly which is called the Growth. Gradually the growth reaches its peak, which is known as the Climax. After
the climax, the plot declines, which is known as the Resolution. The final stage of the Resolution in a Tragedy is
known as catastrophe, whereas, in a comedy it is called Denouement. Some plays have a prologue in the beginning
and an epilogue at the end.

Fantasy drama you will love

I watched, Snow eagle lord anime . Compare to that the story is different in this fantasy series. story is great but in some places it is confusing. The acting of the male and female lead and the support Cast is great. The animations overall are much better. The concept of fighting the Demon is sort to be coming boring. They should look for change in the upcoming series. In spite of that story is interesting and makes you binge watch all the episodes. What makes it interesting characters of Kong you and Pu Yang po.
