If you enjoyed Dating in the kitchen, you'll probably like GGS. It all depends on your mood to watch these types of dramas.

Similarities:
- Lighthearted drama.
- Age gap
- Mature ML
- Cute FL
- Have lots of funny/cute scenes.

Differences:
- DITK is about chefs/cooking, while GGS is more like computer/coding/programming.
- in DITK ML chases FL first. GGS is the opposite.

Both dramas has the same type of romance and:

Both male leads send mature vibes and are nice
Both ML has a woman at their side who tries to meddle with the couple
Both has a second male lead with resentment towards the ML
The FL is very good in what she does for living, cook/clothes design and are hard working
etc

Romcom with a heavy focus on food. Quirky and endearing FL vs. more stoic ML who falls for her cooking. Many delicious-looking scenes of food preparation.

The same actor plays similar personages: the CEO's at their own companies and winning at their carrier, losers at their love life... picky about everything. They are more than 10 years older than the female lead with which their work-related life collides at first. They move to live at same building as the female lead, which is a troublemaker. y At first they are very reluctant to understand they had fallen in love and are bad at it..., but the actor express it well through his expressions.

The female leads are the same. Love better than immortality is a fantasy, romance series of tencent video. A girl who went to the past for experiences love. And there she fall in love with two different persons who are like black and white. In order to the rules when she open her eyes which person she see first he will be her destiny.

Both Female leads are gifted assistant Chefs. Both get involved romantically with their boss. Both shows are light & fluffy at the start but get a bit heavier towards the end.

If you are a foodie, both of these series have a lot of food related scenes.
Other than that, Chocolate is likely to make you emotional and maybe cry, whereas Dating in the Kitchen has more "run of the mill" plots in the script, and will likely leave you with a more "warm, fuzzy feeling".

Main couple with a ton of chemistry. Dating in the Kitchen has the advantage of maintaining the chemistry throughout and not having too many episodes.
