The 70s and Korea

A film that explores a aspect of Korea that I had never seen and that I didn't know. You can see that already in the 70s, the influence of the English language was already there. Through the film, and the political context of the time, we see how the government tried to repress the decadence of youth.

I chose this film because I'm a fan of Shin Mina and she's stunning !

I became a little attached to all the characters and you can understand their passions and why they chose this path. I think it describes the journey of a lot of groups over time, when success goes to your head and you're afraid to step out of your comfort zone.

The music was perfect for me, before listening to Kpop, I listened (and still listen) to rock. And it's impossible not to move when you hear certain songs and watch the crowd go crazy.

I think it's a movie I would watch again!

In short, an entertaining film, if you like the music/vibe of the 70s and want to discover an unsuspected side of Korea! This film is the proof that even Korean society couldn't resist the madness of the 70s!
