Enjoy The Music
It was a very predictable drama, but it was enjoyable. I loved the music. I like how we get to know each character in the band and the Female Lead. Even as the FL has so much problems, I like how she stay strong and positive. It must be hard to portrait 2 characters but she made it believable. The ML seem very harsh and unfriendly but very caring for does around him. I could not feel real chemistry between the ML and the FL. They were suppose to be in love but to me it was more of friendship then 2 people in love. I find very interesting how the writer throws every idea he can think of. It is like throwing everything even the kitchen sink. But the guys in the band were fun and made the drama more believable. The performance of the actors made this grama more creditable. Was this review helpful to you?
What a Surprise
Saw this and really didn’t have any high expectations but the synopsis intrigued me so I thought I’d give it a go. Right from the start I found the story grabbed me and didn’t let go until the final scene was nothing but a memory. I found the lead actors did a great job and the music throughout was brilliant to the point where I wondered whether the band itself was legit. I’ve watched several idol dramas but this is one of the rare times that the music and story have been well balanced and complementary to the overall drama. Would I recommend this series - definitely. It was thoroughly enjoyable and a pleasant surprise. Top marks everyoneWas this review helpful to you?
Amazing
Loved this drama, i am so obsessed with lee jun young right now,his acting is amazing.its really fun to watch this drama, the struggles they go through, how they sacrifice dating just for the fans. Its important to understand for us as fans that they are human beings too, even our idols have their privacy, they can love and do whatever. We must love them for their work but we can't expect them to be perfect. It shows about mental health as well.i loved it

Let’s make things clear
The synopsis alone is very telling as it doesn’t try to hide the fact it is largely based on recycled tropes. Approaching it with this awareness can prevent disappointment, as the series doesn't strive to be more than a brief and easy-to-enjoy watch. The drama commendably portrays the challenges of being a musician, especially within the K-pop industry, shedding light on the sacrifices idols make, such as compromising their privacy and love lives.
The music aspect is remarkable. For me, this is what I enjoyed about LMBYK the most. I listen to the songs still after completing it.
However, certain elements seemed less believable, though given the drama's premise, this isn't entirely surprising. The characters, especially the main lead, were often insufferable, possibly conforming to the bad-boy cliché. The female lead didn't fare much better. The side characters, though not seasoned actors, brought a cute and funny dynamic, understandable since many are retired idols. I wish the couple got a better closure.
In conclusion, Let Me Be Your Knight" can be an enjoyable experience if you approach it with the right expectations.

Nothing new under the sun
A saying goes “there’s nothing new under the sun” and sadly this is the case with the korean drama Let Me Be Your Knight. It’s not that it’s a bad drama, it’s simply too predictable and cliché ridden, bringing nothing new to the genre or stories surrounding a candy heroine and a group of haughty musicians in desperate need to learn how to be a real band.
The chemistry between Tae-in and Yoon-ju, the two leads, was decent enough and the development of their feelings was coherent, but it lacked the factor that makes you want to cheer for them at all times. I found myself more than okay if they didn’t end up together.
The rest of the characters are charming, quirky, annoying and cute enough for me to not be bothered. I found Shin’s storyline with the actress the most compelling, but it conclude in a lukewarm way. Basically destroying everything that happened before.
I suppose my biggest issue is the script. It honestly feels like the screenwriter wanted to add all the storylines and formulas we have seen before because they didn’t know what this drama is actually about or where they were going with the characters.
Let Me Be Your Knight is a simple and stress free drama. The acting is decent enough to enjoy as a binge-watch over a weekend, if you have nothing else to do.

Omg ong ong
Like the drama was amazing. I wish that it was a little bit longer so I could see them after they saw each other again. They really needed another episode to develop what they had. But from the cast to the music. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. I highly recommend it. Let me rewatch it again so I could fall in love with them all over again. But seriously the music is amazing it’s remarkable how all the voices blended so good. The band that never existed but was simply amazing. I will pay to see them in concert. Was this review helpful to you?

Fine
Acting of every character is best in the drama and because of their acting can bear the story otherwise story doesn't make sense ,I mean story doesn't has power to engage the audience . Every character has their story and problem which is shown in the drama but every character's story is not properly execute.for instance as we talk about the female lead story ,there are twin ,they are bestie then suddenly their parents died and one has got adopted and other is facing difficulties when many after many years they met the one who adopted not ready to concile with her ,reason not shown properly and on other side the one who left without parent entangled with the goons as she took money from them as a loan actually someone fruad her. So sister's story shown in 2 to 5 episodes in chunks . What I want to say that they can give a full 1 and 1/2 episodes of their story in which they were leaving very happily and one day their parents had left them for a while so they both got happy that they were alone and they enjoying their pace and other side their parents when coming back they met an accident and die so their relatives fight how they will take care of both sister and what about this home . So one of the family remained with them because of the greed of home and slowly they were doing adoption procedure . One is choose on the basis of intelligence and other left remain so one remain left and the drama should show how their relatives lived her and sell their home and how she grow into big girl . Then introduction of band member and this way atleast drama give one episode for every character's personal story and talking about last part of the last episode ,the drama end with good note but still I think there is a need of one full episode for their love story. Was this review helpful to you?
A fun drama that doesn't overstay its welcome.
Was the plot predictable? Yes, but most romance k-dramas are, so I can hardly fault it for that. With what little I know of Idol culture, I think this drama did a good job portraying how overwhelming and stressing it can be to stand under such a huge spotlight and all the pressure attached to that kind of fame.I liked how each member of the band had their own little side plots. Well, except for Woo-Yeon. They did him dirty. I wish they'd given his character more of a backstory or something to do besides being the very far removed tip of the love triangle.
The music was actually good! (edit: Luna even has a Spotify account!) I'll probably be looking a few of the songs up to add them to my Spotify. And the instrument playing looked legit (edit 2: There's a behind the scenes video on YT of all the guys playing the songs live over the tracks while filming) Also, I hugely appreciate that when there was only a guy with an instrument on screen, the song reflected that and didn't have multiple instruments and people singing.

Worth the watch
This drama was on my watchlist for quite some time. I finally finished it. So following is my opinion about the drama. The story had its cliche moments. It is nothing out of the box (But that is true for quite some ROMCOMs) So, nothing very special in the story but t is well executed and enjoyable.
The story gives a glimpse of the hard work and struggles involved in the life of idol groups.
Loved the bond among the LUNA group member and how it evolves along with the story. Not just the bond among them but we can see the character development of each of the group members. Also, the twin sisters' bond development was meaningful. Even though short, it didn't feel rushed and fit right into the drama.
Loved how each character was given its own space to evolve and shine.
The entire cast just looks amazing and the acting was fantastic.
The main lead looked amazing together and the romance developed slowly and beautifully. The pace of the drama was just right.
Beware of the second lead syndrome!
Overall, If you like romcoms, you should definitely give this a try.

Good Enough
Korean Drama " Let Me Be Your Knight " is an idol drama that takes a more psychological twist. The drama has a cheesy start, by using that cliche way to get the female lead in the groups house. Eventually, however, it gets more heartwarming, as she develops relationships with the bandmembers and they get closer.
The romance, on the other hand, was lukewarm, and the predictable love triangle didn't aid to it. Still, the ending was nice and saved the story.
Unfortunately, the main couple stole the show and was monopolising the screentime, leaving little time for the rest of the group members to have a complete storyline.
On the other hand, the performances were nice by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, four out of ten.

very enjoyable
I really enjoyed this drama, quite more than I expected and much more than Imitation to be honest. Loved the fact it depicted a actual band (they never get enough attention in general) and the sound track was really good. I had both Love Paranoia and Beautiful Breakup on my playlist for weeks. The individual stories of the members I also enjoyed a lot although the main character, well, funny but also very odd (could not relate at all! And btw what happened with his dad?). The acting in general was also pretty good and I totally fell in love with JR (been quite obessivly looking at Nuest MVs even though they were never on my radar before this). His acting I thought was especially good and I just enjoyed his story line. I still dont get the big deal them being together but hey.. it made for good drama with lots of genuine moments (yes, I cried!)
If you are looking for something light hearted, funny and in some moments touching without expecting big plots or surprises this is one for you. ITs just some good entertainment (with some VERY bad kissing scenes. Sorry but main character and female character - zero chemistry! JR and his love interest however... ).
Anyway, go and watch it if you want some light hearted entertainment with enough drama for it to not get boring - I did even re-watch some of the episodes which I rarely do!

Amazing OST + cute romance and friendships + great character development
*SPOILERS ALERT*I thought it was pretty nice honestly ! Perfect after a heavy watch like many people in the comments said. Yes it's cliché but I think it was pretty well done. The relationship between the band members, the romance, the OST (like seriously it was amazing !), the cinematography were all great. I admit I wasn't very convinced with ep1-2 but the story eventually succeeded in drawing me in.
The only downside for me was the final ep. I think the whole kidnapping thing should have been left out to better focus on the "happy ending" between the couple. I'm not satisfied with a 10 secondes reunion in which the leads just stare at each other tearfully... Well I guess it could have been worse but I really don't understand what the writer thinks when they decide to incorporate a romance in their story (moreover a romance that takes the majority of the screen time) and conclude the relationship between the 2 characters with a lackluster and abrupt conclusion... (yes I'm very salty about this type of ending that shouldn't exist in any romance production, even if it's to give us a more "realistic" vision).
Apart from that, if you want to watch something light and sweet, with some funny moments and great relationships (and character development !) then go give this a chance! Also to be more precise, I didn't watch any other "idol" drama like Imitation and the like, the only one I watched was Dream High and I don't think we can compare the two. So maybe this drama isn't something very enjoyable/new for others but it worked pretty well for me.
