The story of Korean-Japanese psychiatrist during The Great Hanshin Earthquake in Kobe who voluntarily gives treatment to the victims also himself. He listen to their stories and feels the pain.
While he visited hospital, he witnessed the battlefield of evacuation shelters and he began to search what he can do as psychiatrist but he awares that he is powerless to do anything. He compiles his observation about the disaster in point of view of psychiatrist.

One of well made special jdrama. It's short only 4 episodes. The pace is good and the stories gave us in variant emotions. Full of positive vibes, very heartwarming lesson of life coping of mental illness and traumas during disaster. Beautiful scenery filming and performance.
There is something missing about the story. The engagement between the doctor and the patients. Overall I can feel the warmth of the drama.
"Doctors don't heal people traumas. The only thing they can do is to offer support as they're trying to recover by themselves. "

Through this drama, I finally understand a little bit what mental care means and it means to never leave anyone alone. Smiling face with smiling eyes
