I literally made an account to review this lol
I just finished watching this drama, and i was wondering how other people felt about it.And WOW, i was suprised.
The other reviews for this drama left me in shock.
But I for one, think they didnt give hardly enough credit to this drama.
-Its not exactly the most creative, but all the cliches are done well
-the comedy is spot on, and gives it a nice, light, feel.
-some might argue that the romance takes too long, but i for one think its perfect
-there are a good amount of kiss scenes, and both actor and actress contribute to it
-the kiss scenes arent super...violent? Idk but there are so many kiss scenes in dramas where the couple looks likes they're having a seizure or something
-No evil mother/father in law
-the villains add an element of mystery that makes it really intersting, and helps keep the story going
-the chemistry between the couple is amazing
-the way they fall in love is actually pretty realistic and sweet
-the female lead isnt super dumb
(She can actually be quite crafty at times)
-Both leads are very likeable
-there is technically a second male lead and a female one, but they dont really FEEL like they are. If anything, theyre just side characters.
Anyway, i hope this helped!
I highly recommend it!

deja vu like 3 times ?
This drama wasn't a bad watch but the story line frustrates me!!!1) its only 20 episodes but their romantic development doesnt start till like 12 episodes in ? ugggh?? lol it all the sweet stuff in the last like 5 episode
2) development of the story had loopholes lol I mean because this story is about them falling into a loophole/comet which transfers them back to the moment they met . Basically the female lead is a youtuber/vlogger/does live stream for her job and she interviews under the main lead's company. They start off on a bad foot, and due to the male lead saving the female lead from drowning they enter a loophole/comet of some sort that brings them back to the moment of the interview.... Thus the male lead wants nothing to deal with female lead/ tries to avoid the female lead as much as possible. of course you know he cant really hide it , slowly but surely they develop feelings for each other... All at the same time male lead company, someone is up to no good trying to bring him down/ cause danger to him. It turns out they are also after the female lead for having a very important usb that the evil dude wants. So the evil dude sends people to go after the leads. Eventually they fall into danger and ends up in deja vu / comet so they are once again back to the same first scene. This time again only the male lead remembers, so he actively pursues the female who is slightly hesitant..
Romantic scenes are super cute and sweet. I really admired Zhang yu Jian 's kissing scenes because its believable and passionate and not stiff. lol i guess he has softer/flexible lips >_< dont call me a perv lol. but i find a lot of male leads kissing to be very stiff or just a peck with no emotions. For the female lead she is younger so i dont really feel the connection as much...
Zhang Yu jian ( male lead ) acting is what kept me through this drama. He is super cute when he overly reacts. Like reacting to running into the female lead. Lol his hair is parted really cute and dorky in this drama. The female lead at times seems kinda kiddish and annoying , she's more whiny sounding.
Overall, this drama would of been better if they used only 2 times having deja vu/comet/loop hole. and the romantic development is way to slow... but still it was a ok watch .... just a tad disappointed...
i forgot to add , I COULDNT STAND HER NAILS IN THIS DRAMA. OMG SO CREEPY. ITS LONG AND WHITE. ONE SCENE YOU COULD ALMOST SEE RIGHT THROUGH THEM LOL

Should give a try !!!!
Though many of us were complaining about the cast, but I'd say if we don't keep in mind that it is the sequel of The Night Of The Comet 1 , then you would actually be ab;e to enjoy the show.Basically the only similarities in both show were as follows:
1.Male leads were rich and female lead belonged to middle class family.
2. Male leads time traveled because of the comet.
Just these 2 were the similarities , Else it was really really different from the previous story.
It was a full entertainment drama. Casting, Story and Production was really really good.
I won't write much cause then I will actually spoil all the suspense. I would say you should give it a try.
Good Luck!!!!

Although I've read some comment saying that the romance was to slow, I beg to differ. Ever since their first meeting they started at the wrong foot, their second meeting (2nd universe) he blamed her and then slowly started to fall for her. On the third meeting (3rd universe) he was completely head over heels with her. Although some also argue that the whole 3 deja vu was too much I believe it was necessary for the development of the story since senhe discovered important clues each time. The comedy was spot on and we got PLENTY of kiss scenes. There's also no evil parents or people trying to stop them from being together which was really refreshing. We also got a pretty good happy ending, which i was excited about after the ending of the first season. I would definitely recommend watching. Its fully subbed on YouTube.

Enjoyed it a lot
It was a great watch. I really liked how Lin Se He and Bai Xiao Xin were together. The cute little moments sometimes make me wonder if it was part of the script or ad libs by the the actors especially from Zhang Yu Jian. Like there was one scene that we wouldn't let go of her hand for the whole night, hands do get sweaty so he as if it's the most natural thing in the world wipes his and her palms on his suit jacket all the while not letting go of her hands and continuing on with his lines. These little gestures are so cute and funny to watch. Even though Lin Se He was originally cold and aloof but when he started liking Bai Xiao Xin he was all out with his feelings and none of that nonsense of having a secret relationship. I liked how Bai Xiao Xin wasn't the dumb shy clumsy type. She knew she liked Lin Se He and she shows it. They were just good together, no awkward acting at all.Not much to say about the supporting characters, they were there as support really. The story revolved around our two main characters.

I actually liked the ending of the first season because it made sense. For example that ending in this second season wouldn't make sense at all.
In the first season due to a commet, the ML travels to a parallel world. BUT he already exists in there. So the two ML are suddenly living in the same timeline, something that obviously doesn't make any sense (in a balanced world) and therefore the ending of the first season was logic and predictable.
In this second season the ML only travels back in time. It's the same world, he has the memories of what happened before the commet, yet he just goes back to a point of the past which is months before the commet incident. There are not two ML in the same timeline, and the ML only tries to avoid the same ending and he wants to find out the conspiracy that ends up with his death (and time travel).
As I've mentioned before, I don't remember the details of the first season since it's been quite a long time. I remember the general story and the impression that it gave me. I liked the first season and I was okay with the ending, because it was the logic thing. However I feel that the chemistry and acting of the cast from this second season is better than the first one. And, at the same time, I prefer a time travel concept instead of a parallel world.
I would obviously change some things, I think they didn't pay attention to a couple details that would have been really interesting. And they also overlooked some stuff, without giving you a background at all. But I still enjoyed it.
*Extra note: A lot of kisses. A LOT. That was a great surprise to me because I wasn't expecting it at all. And nope, not those awkward kisses often displayed in asian dramas.
I am a person that focuses on the visuals and the script, not the music. Therefore I never pay attention to the OSTs. However sometimes there are songs that really get my attention, that I really like, and that I end up looking for on YouTube to put them on my playlist. In this case none of the songs left a great impression on me, so I can't say much about it.
I think I would rewatch it again in the future. Maybe in a year or so, whenever I don't know what else to watch.

With usual tropes but done right
Wow. I think I'll add Lu Zhao Hua (FL) to the actors I'm looking out for. She keeps on making dramas that are easy to like. I have already seen Zhang Yu Jian (ML) in other dramas, but this is the first time that I really loved his character. The main premise of the story is that the ML time travelled to the first time they meet up, when the FL was being interviewed for his company, each time he goes through a vortex created by the comet.
The storytelling was nicely paced and even though the drama used a lot tropey scenarios such as ankle twists, these were done right. It is self-aware enough to call itself out when the lines were getting cheesy.
I really liked that the FL can fight back and knows how to handle the ML. Quarrels were easily but realistically resolved. The ML's change from a cold president to a hopelessly in love puppy felt gradual. During the first interview, he reluctantly hired her. In the second, he would have done everything NOT to hire her. In the third, he would have done everything JUST to hire her. Their chemistry actually surprised me because of the obvious age difference. I expected only a few kisses but drama proved me wrong. When the ML had accepted his feelings, he really went all out in his pursuit of the FL, kissing her when possible. When the FL accepted him, she did not shy away from initiating kisses. This resulted to a lot of kisses.
This is definitely rewatchable, maybe after a year or so.

Lovely Drama
I'm going to be honest, the only reason I watched this was because Zhang YuJian was in it and haven't actually watched the first season. Though I had no previous knowledge of the drama because I haven't watched the first season, I was still able to follow along. I read a lot of reviews saying the cast changed and became a whole new drama which may be why.So I would say that this drama would be great even to those who haven't watched the first season!
This drama is probably one of the top Chinese dramas I've watched. Overall, it's a very satisfying drama to watch, it doesn't really include any confusing scenes nor does it have any characters that annoy the hell out of you.
Highly recommend!

Pleasantly Surprised! <3
I'll be honest—I went into this show with low expectations. Whether that may have inflated the overall rating, you be the judge of that. All I can say is, for a Chinese drama, it does not disappoint! :'DI was definitely pleasantly surprised by the overall production value. That constant ad at the beginning of each ep seems worth it now! It wasn't necessarily GRADE A CINEMATOGRAPHY, But it was very good, and I'd say the music and editing were about above average as well.
The M.C. Lin Sen He, comes off as very overbearing in the first few eps, but he begins to grow on you, especially after he falls in love with Bai Xiao Xin. He just turns into caramel, and he's mostly in the palm of her hand it's very adorable. Also, I'd say that the FL, Bai Xiao Xin is a healthy dose of cute, but also self-sufficient. There are cases where she needs to be saved by the ML, but there are also cases where her quick wit saves him too! I think it's a nice balance.
Finally, wow, for a Chinese drama this sure had a lot of kiss scenes um—
Not that I'm complaining.
Typically we're starved for like at LEAST 3, sometimes oNLY 1, so I applaud the two leads for that! Esp, Zhang Yu Jian! (I'll be honest, I didnt really expect much from any of the cast going into this, so this was a pleasant surprise seeing a ML who actually knows how to kiss o.O OFC IT WAS STILL PG-11 DONT GET UP IN ARMS ABT IT) Also, the FL actress Lu Zhao Hua, she also still managed to capture some level of chemistry! The kisses/romantic scenes weren't awkward at all, but not TOO comfortable, where you feel like you're spying on an irl couple....o.O if that makes sense.
.
.
.
.
But yeah, this show was good! The only reason I put the rewatch value so low, (and my one real issue with this show really...) is that the storyline sorta restarts 3 times (more like 2 times...really) due to the whole comet thing....But thats just if you get a little tired of it like I see myself if I rewatch this in the future. That's easily solved by just fast-forwarding—no biggie.
To close, I finally have another Chinese drama I can recommend to my friends when they ask for recommendations! The length was pretty good, so was the cast, and so was everything else. The rating The Night of The Comment II has right now (7.8) is pretty accurate I'd say. I went slightly below just because if i look at it in the context of other shows I've seen, it doesnt really OUTSHINE them, but this is a good show nonetheless.

Okay a while ago I started watching this drama and stopped on the first episode because I started another drama after a few years I finally finished watching it and it is really good it is funny a little sad and makes you feel so many emotions I love them together and they have great chemistry it was a little confusing for me at first but after I got through a few episodes it was easier to understand this is a lighthearted fluffy drama I highly recommend watchingWas this review helpful to you?
Ugghhh
So they should fire whoever decided on how to style the main leads hair! That hair uuggghhhh! I know they were trying to make him look stoic, but there are many facial expressions as an experience actor can do to make himself look the part of a cold and stern boss! This show is blah, the first one was better!I guess I can’t post this review unless it’s 500 characters! I know it’s a low budget drama but there are lots of great low budget dramas and China continues to push out as many as they can and never caring about the quality. Not good for business. That’s why lots of film industries are going out of business there.
