Sousa Chizu no Onna (2012)

Tachibana Tamako (Maya) is a veteran at the Criminal Investigation unit of the Kyoto Prefectural Police. She’s known as a “map maniac” and knows every inch of Kyoto as long as you can find it on a map. The police is using her talent as a “human GPS” to make detailed investigation maps that are able to break every fake alibi. However, it also happens that Tamako doesn’t appear at a crime scene, because she once again found a spot that hasn’t yet been recorded on a map. Believe it or not, it’s only the first time Maya is starring in a drama serial. That and the magnificent backdrop of Kyoto should be enough reasons to check out ‘Sousa Chizu no Onna’ this fall.
