Both are about two male leads and their strong bond (in reality it is a romantic relationship but has censorship). Both are wonderful stories about eternal love that lasts through much hardships and trials. Both semes are questionably evil (this is debatable for spoiler-y reasons) and both ukes are kind and good at heart. Both have a good amount of mystery, suffering, comedy, tragedy, (b)romance, and fantasy. If you really enjoyed H2A then you would absolutely love Heaven Official's Blessing (go and read the novel!).
- Both the original novels are written by the same author
- BROMANCE (BL!!!!!)
- Both stories revolve around immortals and cultivation.
- The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System and Heaven Official's Blessing (Tian Guan Ci Fu) is made into a Donghua.
If you like one, it is a given that you will like the other mainly because if the novel had done a wonderful job of making this universe. Both can take your emotions go through a roller-coaster ride as it has elements of comedy, romance, friendship and a bit of tragedy (?Maybe).

The relationship between the male leads is so special like they are truly meant for each other (soulmate). I like the way Feng Ren (played by He Chang Xi) protect Po Xiao (Played by Ding Cheng Xin). This movie is actually the second time these two actors acted together, which is great because their chemistry is freaking lit. And the director for this movie is Guo Jingming, who also the director of the Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity, L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties and Painted Skin: The Guo Jingming Edition as well.
