This drama is THAT BITCH and that's all you need to know
After so many re-views here is mine.
Can we all take a moment and appreciate this masterpiece!?
This is THE BEST BL when it comes to school love, two hearts that go from enemies to lovers, two hearts that discover them selves, acceptance and looking forward for the next chapter to their lives.
This was so well done, so well written, the passion behind the acting, behind every word that they are saying was on another level. The cinematography is astonishing, the locations were beautiful.
This literally makes other Bls look very mediocre. This is at the top.
~The story: Like I already said, this is by far the best BL that has done the "enemies to lovers" trope with a taste. And that's al you need to know.
~Acting: The best in the business, and them being rookies... -miles ahead from other actors when it comes to delivering the characters emotions, thought, body language, eye contact etc. etc.
~ Music: Amazing and it goes so well with the scenes and the characters emotions.
~Re-watch Value: Of course it has, but you'll know that the magic is not there and it's not going to be like your first time.
~Overall: Read the intro again TY.

On top of my watching list
This is the definition of high quality series. You will not be disappointed with their acting, the cinematography & the story. Just try to watch the first episode & i guarantee that you‘ll never going to regret it. Each episode feels like a movie, it’s totally different from other BLs. When sometimes we find a BL series where they make all the character to be gays. I told sunset about you tells us more about the real struggles of someone who‘s still figuring out their sexuality. They don’t exaggerated the story and they also don‘t overdramatized the relationship with the family & the female character. The only thing that you‘ll complain after watching it, that you wish there will be more episodes.

Well i have to be honest. At first I just ignore my friends sharing thing and other stuffs about this series. they keep on sharing their review, the cast pictures and more. You know curiosity kills hahaha indeed. So this past week we had academic break after our exam so because of curiosity i really want to find out to myself what in this series. I have so many question in my mind and i need a clear answer ASAP. So i started to watched the series and i cant stop. 5 episodes for 5 and a half hour. i finished the series within the day. It takes you to a roller coaster ride and it makes you cry
I just want to say that it's so relatable to me. All of that thing, i love how they act, their chemistry even theres no dialog you can feel the chemistry between them. The story inspired me to study more on theater arts/performing arts to inspire others and make them cry and happy and show who are they and what they feel. I want to watch it again and again.List why you need to watch this:
1. The movie puts you into a roller coaster scene
2. It makes you cry like a baby
3. You have a runny nose when you watch this in one day
4. It makes you realized that we need to accept who they are and what they want to be.
5. Just watch it to all pinoys out there bang gandang panoorin kaya watch nyo na

A must watch
This series is absolutely incredible. The acting was amazing and I was blown away by the intimacy of the leads. Usually I find thai bl's descent at best. But I told sunset about you was outstanding. Even though the series didn't stray away from some of the usual bl tropes, it felt very different from the standard enemies/friends to lovers. The first episode felt a bit slow but once I got past that I was amazed. The concept of the series isn't that unique but it was executed so well and shot so beautifully that I can't compare it to any other thai bl's that I have watched. And don't even get me started on the cinematography.I would without a doubt recommend this series.

When society terns us in to our worst enemy it can be hard to know what to tell sunset...
This is a very sweet yet at times emotional roller coaster drama, breaking your heart over and over again. Telling the story of a journey with many victims on the way to figuring out what is true in ones heart. Actually showing how every singel person and choice matter no matter how insignificant he/she/thy may think they are. This story shows surprisingly few signs of prejudges from the outside world and has full fokus on the inner struggles of a person trying to figure out his feelings and the affect on both himself and the people around him who become collateral damage on the way to self-acceptance. Honestly a journey that would have been allot easier if people where taught inclusion from the start, but well that is probably to much to ask for, but hey one day...
It is at times easy to get mad and frustrated by the lead for making so extremely poor choices while lacking communication skills, but what is youth if not that a series of poor choices while learning to deal with the consequences of ones actions. Plus even if the drama shows very little signs of prejudges from the outside world, Tahs struggles are most definitely a result of growing up in a hetero-normative society. So it is there while not being there... kind of like a ghost in the background whispering do not forget you live in a hetero-normative society over and over again.
What makes this drama special is that every singel bad choice was called out and had a realistic non sugarcoated consequence, giving a realistic feel to this drama. I also loved how friendship and different types of relationships are portrayed in this drama, as well as the way they portray the value of a living in a supportive environment for growth and in the long run self acceptance.
This drama has allot of playful fun scenes between the heavy emotions, swimming and running around on beautiful beaches making studying seem FUN, and you might just learn a word or two in Chinese.
All in all this is defiantly a drama worth a watch, I am looking forward to season 2 but hope Tah has become more comfortable with himself so that the relationship can grow and hope he can stop hurting himself and the people around him.
P.s I want to make a side note about the existence of people who are pansexuall as well as bisexuall, just because you fall in love with a person with the same assumed sex as yours does not automatically make you a lesbian or a homosexual. A man can fall in and out of love with a girl and then fall in love with a boy... That boy could be assumed to be a boy but actually be a girl too. Sexuality and gender identity are a spectrum, sound complicated but it is not.

Best Thai Series - BL or Non-BL
This is easily the best Thai series I have seen. I have seen quite a few (around 20 or so). BL or Non-BL. The story is very simple and grounded but the it was told is superb! The cast gave the performance of their lives to this series. I fell in love. I cried. I got broken. I laughed. I smiled. It was a roller-coaster and I love every single bit of it. I am re-watching it this 2021.Do yourself a favor and binge on this.
Here’s hoping that Season 2 is just as great as its predecessor.

This show added 10 years to my life span
I've watched so many BLs but this was the one I related to the most. As a queer enby teenager, I was able to relate to Teh and Ohaew immensely. There were so many scenes in the show that reflected my personal experiences. The acting was top-notch and they really did a good job of conveying every feeling. Gosh, this show is just so good y'all like LKAJLKJFSLJF. Also, that goddam soundtrack. t e a r s. If you're a queer teenager, you NEED to watch this. It's so relatable, so well-directed, and so well-acted. I see a bunch of people in the reviews saying that they didn't understand some of the choices that the characters made, but I personally have made very similar choices so that just made it feel more real/relatable. but yee t'was good ill def rewatch before part two comes out :DWas this review helpful to you?
THE BEST!
This is HANDS DOWN one of the best thai dramas I have ever watched. The story, the production, the acting, and the chemistry was all just so good. The cinematography was fantastic, the shots were just so amazingly framed and helped to give off a coming of age story aesthetic and was a lot more serious than anything a GMMtv, or the like would produce. An aspect I really loved was the innocence of the the relationship between the two main characters. It felt like they were actually two high schoolers experiencing love, sex, and relationships for the first time. I really think I could say that this was the best BL I have ever seen. I Highly recommend !!!!Was this review helpful to you?
Absolutely amazing!
There are many 10/10 reviews for this series and theyve said what I want to say, such as how this series is really like no other "BL" out there, this story transcends the genre and it's such a beautiful piece of art. The story, editing, directing/filming, scenery, OST is all perfect. What i want to focus on is the acting and specifically the portrayal of the 2 main characters, because the characters brought the script to life and pulled everything together.BK and PP absolutely knocked it out of the park and BK really had to do a lot of the emotional lifting in this series. It truly baffled me to read reviews from people who didn't enjoy BK's acting (????). BK was truly exceptional and so raw and natural with his quirks & mannerisms. Every single line felt so natural, the way he would hesitate to say something but then close his eyes and blurt it out. Even when he had no dialogue, his movements said exactly what he was feeling, which many of the times was confusion lol. There were so many scenes of Teh & Oh where I felt like I was intruding on their privacy because they were so intimate with each other. It felt like they were having a whole conversation when they were staring into each other eyes with no dialogue.
I just can't for the life of me see how anyone could watch this series with their eyes & ears and think the acting was what felt short lol. This is actually the reason i made an account and write this review.
I've already re-watched the series about 3 times now in the span of a week and every scene still feels so new to me. I can't wait for Part 2 to see how the 2 characters will grow as individuals and as adults.

MUST WATCH!
This show was like that one really sweet grape that you won't have or find again.I Told Sunset About You is a drama with a not-so-worth-mentioning plot and average storyline. What makes it stand out in its genre, though, is the incredibly meaningful script, its perfect pace, the detailed and to-the-point acting, the little angst, and the necessary drama.
In the beginning, I was truly a bit concerned about the chemistry between the leads. There was close to none of it and being a romance lover, I walked in expecting some sort of instant connection between the two protagonists. But then, I came to realize this was a total slow burn and needed patience, and before I knew it, more than the romance, I started watching it for the beauty of the show, its wonderful cinematography, and its poignant yet realistic nature of the plot.
As a BL lover, I obviously watched my share of the genre, and I can confidently say that I rarely found any BL's deal with the 'coming out of the closet' problems and ITSAY does that really really well.
The actors did an AMAZING job. I was totally immersed in the show and the OST clearly was a bonus. The sceneries were beautiful. The side characters (most of them) were memorable and lovable.
In general, the quality of this show by far exceeded almost every BL I have watched (especially every Thai BL I have watched). It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but no matter what, it is worth giving a shot.

The best BL series in 2020 (or ever?!)
Honestly, this has immediately became my favorite BL series / the best BL series in my heart. Nothing much to say about the plot, I feel like it's somewhat typical, the main difference is just the way that they present the story! Everything is so on-point! The scenes are so artistic, the shooting locations are perfectly matched with the story background. The colors of the series are great, it gives like an ancient SouthEast vibe. Both the actors are soooooo good at what they do, I can see some awkward parts, but that didn't disturb any second of my viewing experience. They are kind of new actors, so I can see there's definitely a bright acting future ahead for them (if they can cry more beautifully ahahahaha). Throughout the series, I can feel how much work the team has put into it, and they've surely created a masterpiece!!! I recommend this to everyone! Go watch it!!!Was this review helpful to you?
