ML is an actor but not too popular anymore & broke so he rent a room in FL house.
FL is a nerdy geeky/otaku girl who like to imagine & day dreaming about romance with her favorite manga/comic book character. Remind me of Rainie Yang & Jiro Wang drama....& still 1 of my favorite drama....If you like this genre this is a must watch romance comedy drama....

only one thing that I found common was that both the female leads are shy and bad at expressing their feelings. in the start of the series it is shown that female leads were ignored and lived quietly. Then there comes the famous male lead (in FBND he is popular game designer and in TGH he is a superstar) who changes their life. there is a love triangle and many comedic events so you will enjoy both.
Other than that one is Korean and the other is Taiwanese plus TGH has a school setting. But both are enjoyable.

Both stories involve a female lead who spies on a male character from another building and has a mysterious past the male lead is curious about. The neighbors in the building also have a prominent part in the drama like in FBND.

Both are about a female lead who withdraws from society due to traumatic moments from her past.

The female lead has a similarly cold and distant personality before meeting the male lead, who helps her open up and overcome her fears in relationships.

In both dramas is shy FL surrounded by cute guys and in both dramas stars Park Shin Hye. These dramas are romantic comedies with great cast and cute romance.

while the story lines are entirely different, both the female leads are extremely antisocial and try to avoid leaving their homes as much as possible.
both a great watch!

Both dramas feature female leads dealing with crippling insecurity that they learn to slowly overcome throughout the story alongside male leads who are thoughtful and kind and do their best to lift up the female leads and help them see how worthwhile they are. Both dramas also tackle sensitive and important topics such as plastic surgery and agoraphobia and self esteem and the fear of judgement and/or hatred from others.

The ML's personality is very similar in both. The main couple becomes each other's strength and support, helping one of them heal from a past trauma.

Both stories involve a female lead who is closed off from her true emotions and a bright, creative, people-loving male lead who helps her understand herself and become a better person.

Both relationships started as friendship (where the girl is reluctant and the boy pushes him on her) and they liked someone else so first they have to comfort themselves. To get together they need a slow development which gives the scent of real life. (and that is awesome! :))Enrique's and and Joon Hyeong's personality and attitude to life and to their loved person is quite similar. And to be honest, Enrique's smile always reminds me of Joon Hyeong's. It's just adorable <3

Both female leads are hermit stalkers who rarely ever leave the house. Relying instead on binoculars to watch their love from afar.
