New World (2013)

Two legendary movies about the infiltration/gansters world, and about the humain relationships beyond the differences (cop/gangster).

This movie is also about undercover cops and the battle with morale. It's a widely known legendary movie from Hong Kong.

Both show undercover cops loosing themselves in their new identity. Also, the line between right and wrong is blurred for the undercover as well as for the spectator.

- The plot is similar as it gives the similar vibes
- ML is an Undercover Cop (TWOE - Drug Trade , NW - Crime Organization)
- ML tries his level best to catch criminals before his identity getting exposed

Male leads in both movies enter gangland as undercover cops and befriend their criminal co-workers. Both productions have a similar plot - unfortunately I cannot reveal more without spoiling either of these films. If you liked one of them, you'll likely enjoy the other one too

Both movies were directed by Park Hoon Jung - while they don't share many similarities in plot, they have the same vibe

Both are remakes of Cantonese movie "Infernal Affairs" - City of Damnation is an official remake, and The New World was only inspired by it - the plot doesn't follow the original script

Both productions tell the story of undercover policemen and criminals trying to trick each other and prevail

Both are about undercover cop. Very intense action movie. Brotherhood, friendship, royalty and trusting ploting, no dull moment

Double face is a remake of Hongkong Movie, Internal Affairs, meanwhile The New World is a movie that is inspired by Internal Affairs movie. You'll find a lot of similarities between these two.

The New World is probably one of the best Korean gangster films I've seen so far and I've seen a ton of them so if you watched Gangnam 1970 and liked it watch The New World.

Male leads in both productions work in law enforcement and get involved (either on purpose [New World] or accidentally [Evilive]) with gangsters with the intention of putting them behind the bars. Both form an uneasy frenemy-like relationship with their criminal bosses

Both are gangster movies however New World is so much better..........................

Both films focus on the same theme of morally-grey undercover cops infiltrating crime organisations and their uneasy friendship/relationship with gangsters they were supposed to infiltrate. Both productions are heavy in the violence department
