Very light family drama. No heavy long conflicts, no bad blood, no soap opera cliche and no evil characters lingering around for too long. It doesn't do anything interesting/special nor it is offensive. Generic smooth sailing family drama. The last 40 episodes felt like an extreme stretch. I wanted the leads' relationship to have a stronger presence, it was a bit on the weaker and tamer side. I also wanted a slightly better ending overall. Was this review helpful to you?
Honesty and moral uprightness
"Brilliant Heritage" is a truly delightful Melodrama to watch. There is a heartwarming on-screen chemistry between comrade/guardian Mr. Boo Young Bae (actor Park In Hwan) and Miss Gong Gye Ok (actress Kang Se Jung). The respect that Mr. Boo shows to his comrade, Miss Gong, for her honesty and strong moral uprightness is so palpable like a father love to his new found daughter. The dance wearing hanbok at the wedding between Mr. Boo and Miss Gong is so entertaining and a pleasure to watch. However, the never ending squabbling between the first born son, Boo Baek Doo, and the second son, Boo Geum Kang, is so annoying and boring to watch. The original sound tracks are wonderful.Actress Kang Se Jung is a very talented actress, she is a gem in this entertainment industry.

After 44 it become a disgusting 18+ show
first acting other that old man no one was able to act or director wanted them to over react in every scene,Main couple were disgusting mother and son
it was comdey but still relationship between step mother and son was disgusting
and they way they act innocent was more disgusting
i know it was fake marriage but they could have waited until that old man die
it was so disgusting to see them kiss
it would have been more fun if third son would find there fake marriage after 80-90 epsiode and then they begin there relationship adter clearing everything
