Mr. Queen (2020)

Both are similar in the sense that the lead from the future died and her soul was transported to a woman in ancient history who also died. Both are involved in politics as the female lead is a high borne lady. Both male lead and female lead eventually tackle together politics and usurping corruption while falling in love too. Both "soul transporters" show the same boldness, cooking prowess and funny antics that bewilders the people from the past because it's too different or unheard of yet.

Both dramas involve swapped/mistaken identities and amnesia (or amnesia-like) themes, as well as corruption and mistrustful in-laws. The female leads in both have similar personalities, and the humor/vibe is similar as well.

Time travel for the win. Amazing and fun main lead, secrets, plots etc. Of course nobunaga concerto focuses more on the politics while mr queen on the romance. Still they give off the same feeling.

Faith is my favorite Korean drama featuring time travel. These two dramas share similar concept of time travel, which a modern man in Mr Queen, a modern woman in Faith travelled back to the historical era.

Both dramas are of fantasy genre with different soul in body concept.
Choi Jin Hyuk, the lead in Miss Day and Night has a guest role in Mr. Queen

Both pertain to male characters occupying royalty positions. Both also have cute male and female lead characters. Although TKEM involves travelling to an alternate dimension, MQ involves time travel.

- both are gender swap stories
- in mr queen a man time travels into Queen Cheorins body and falls in love with te King
- in coffee prince the FL pretends to be a boy and has a romance with ML, while the ML has to deal with his feelings for (what he thinks) is another man
- different genres but the stories are very similar
- coffee prince was made in 2008 so beware

and whole other things are different, But as a person who watched both dramas ,
I'm strongly suggest you to watch this drama because of the comedy, romance

comedy..
Almost all kdrama lovers know how funny when watching the welcome to waikiki season 1.
Same goes with the Mr. Queen, it has it's own unique comedy.

the main difference is Mr.Queen is historical and this drama not historical ,
but don't overthink , just start watching.

You won't be able to drop it , Once you start watching it

1. Firstly both are hilarious .
2. ML and FL startoff wrong and slowly fall in love .
3. In both series there is someone that ML is already in love with .

Recommending this just because they share the same boisterous and obnoxious laugh. These shows do not have anything in common at all but that (exp for the -spoiler- plot line).

Same concept of spirit male enters female body and following chaos and comedy
Difference is phantom the secret agent is miniseries and happens in modern times.

i recommend Mr.Queen because in both drams the common thing is time travel the difference is in princess at large FL body swap but in mr.queen ML body swap with FL

Not as lighthearted but still amazing. Actors = amazing, plot = amazing, OST = amazing. Definitely recommend this saeguk.

Main characters time-travelled to Joseon Dynasty from modern day. In MQ, he is a chef. In DJ, he is a doctor. They both used their own respective skills to help out people around them. They both were kinda entrepreneurs in Joseon.
