This just might be the best of the Girl Next Room series. It’s funny, wholesome and just so pure. This series also boasts an excellent cast with Mild, Off, Mek and Apple. Sort of like a mini Ugly duckling Dont reunion. If only Victor was part of the cast. After waiting patiently for ten weeks I was finally able to watch this series and I was not disappointed. If you told someone that this series is just Mild and Off screaming for 45 minutes, you would probably be right!THE STORY:
The story follows Duchess aka Danglek, whose only goal in life is to get rich. She does just that once grown up, but now longs to be accepted into the Rich club, to affirm her status. She discovers that entry into the Rich club is by acceptance only, and also that her childhood crush, Khunkao studies in the same university as her. She also bumps into Krathing, who she views as a chatter box and an irritant. She though has a secret. She was poor before. When Krathing discovers this, he begins to extort her for money in exchange for keeping her secret. The rest of the series follows the aftermath of these events.
THE ACTING:
I mean? Should I say anything? The cast is perfect in every way. Off and Mild could literally play themselves and the story wouldn’t change. The characters are spunky, sweet, extremely likeable and just very well written. Even the Richy Angels ( The mean girls ) are not that bad. Every character is perfect. I feel like I have to mention Apple. From Ozone, to Honey, to Yuri/Yuki, she has range man!
THE PRODUCTION:
I can say without doubt this is the best of the anthology.
THE OST:
Nothing that great.
THE NEGATIVE:
Why is everyone so obsessed with being rich man? I’ve got to side with Krathing on this one. Not all rich people are nice. The obsession to get into that rich club and the obliviousness about it’s actually is astounding! Also, the way they treated Duchess in episode 4 was disgusting.
THE ENDING:
I KNEW IT!!!!! I KNEW IT! I knew that Khunkao and Krathing were related. I knew Krathing was the one who bought her the glasses. Swoon. Oh man, that was the sweetest ending ever. That hug!! So cute. Ugh, when will I find love like that.
While this series has several characters from the other parts of the series, it can easily be watched alone. Hope everybody watches this series and hope this review was helpful. Thank You!

The comedy was overflowing in this one, as the main couple were mostly enemies and slowly started liking each other. So, they really nailed the funny parts and the comedy scenes weren't over the top, which was a plus. The whole drama actually had a fluff, light feeling throughout. However, the story was predictable. But, still, it was entertaining and the actors and actresses did a great job with their characters. The couple had chemistry as well, even though the conclusion of their love story was a bit lukewarm.
So, overall, eight out of ten.

Didn't Work For Me
Honestly, I’m really surprised because everyone seems to like this series the best out of all of the Girl Next Room stories— and considering my love for OffMild, I was expecting to feel the same. I love Mild, and I love Off, and I LOVED Duchess’s outfits throughout this series. But otherwise, this really wasn’t the show for me. The plot wasn’t my cup of tea, and the over-the-top direction and acting felt very out of place in comparison to the other Girl Next Room series. I really didn’t enjoy the story much at all until the very end of the fourth episode. The climax there and then everything in the final episode was really good, but I just wish I had liked the first 2/3 of the show. Was this review helpful to you?

To begin with I love that Mild (Duchess) Love interest in the Kiss drama was in this one too (Mek AKA Khunkhao), I totally ship them togeter. But it was refreshing to see him a bit of an ass. I generally like Mild, but she has a way to come off over dramatic, but it really suited this role for sure. Duchess is a girl who was rich but became poor only to become rich again, and her only dream is to show people shes worthy, because she's rich.
When she unexpectently meet Off (Karthing), whos a don't care, do what I want kind of person. He doesn't care if your rich or not, but he does like to mess with people, and because he can tell Duchess has something to hid, its more fun to mess with her.
The duo actually work really well together, and they are both really charasmatic actors, they are comic duo, as much as Karthing gets on Duchess nerves, she still seem to enjoy contantly having him around.
The side characthers actually is a reason why they got a higher score for acting because honestly they funny as hell.
Espeically Duchess friends.
What I do dislike is that they dont really show more glimps of the previous charatchers happening, it's like it all happnes simultantiously, which I guess it's suppose to but then why is Singto (Tan) not more annoyed by Karthing? becuase Karthing was super annoying and over protective towards Mimi in their season.
Over all I like the chemistry amongs the cast I must admit.

This is one the best Thai series I've watched after a long time. The story is about a girl changing from being poor to being so rich. I love how the series contains a plot twist to it so the viewers can use their critical thinking along the way in which I found really interesting. The Cast: It was an unexpected pair, but it turned out to be so good since off and mild have a great chemistry together, especially in romance-comedy type of series. And speaking of that, I would like to take a moment to thank GMM for pairing these two. :D
The Plot: To me, I would say it was an AWESOME series! the plot consists of two lovely people. (Duchess&Krathing). Duchess is dying to get in the Rich Club, so she asked P'Krathing to help. At first, he didn't want to help her but he still end up helping her anyways xD Don't you think it's cute? Also, she met her long lost crush from childhood and her crush happened to be friend with P'krathing. Thus, she has to pay him to stay silent. But there's more to that or I can say it's more complicated than that. I don't want to spoil more because I want everyone to watch and feel it by yourself. Moving from those laughters to painful scenes but I know for sure it's gonna be a happy ending :D Trust me, it will be fun.
The Directors: I think they did a good job in the series. I laugh so much throughout this series.
The Soundtrack: Hmm, it was an okay-okay for me.
Things I dislike is that: Everyone wants to be in The Rich Club in order to be accepted by society and people around them. And I don't like how Honey betrayed her by exposing her background just because she didn't want Duchess to get accepted. Overall, it was a good life-lesson learnt, it's like we all can take some inspiration to apply in our life.
Last but not least, Thanks for this cute pair that GMM gave us. I really hope they will have more project together since I mean their chemistry should not go to waste. They perfect for enemies-love series. Pleaseeee.... I will look forward to that.

Out of all the series, this was the bit I highly anticipated mostly (admittedly) because of Mild and Off. As I expected since the trailer release, their tandem was really badass.THE STORY. It’s a cute well-woven light plot that neatly plays out throughout the series. Even in the ending episode there are still mini plot twists. This is pure romcom that will make you laugh so hard one minute, then swooning the next.
THE CHARACTERS. Off and Mild as a couple are both SO ADORABLE AND CUTE. Off Jumpol isn’t even acting- he’s in his element LOL But even then, he has side acting wherein his adoration for Danglaek seeps off the screen (the way he leans towards her and listens intently to what she has to say, the way his eyes follow her, and his voice dropping in tender moments. And when he acts jealous- IT’S ALL ADORABLE IT MAKES YOU SQUEAL)
Mild is insanely hilarious. It’s not forced, and you can see her versatility in this drama. I love it when she acts like an idiotic adorable dork when she speaks to Khunkhao in an exaggerated cuteness- it’s just funny. I also like that she stands up to the richy angels. Woot woot! Her chemistry with Off exceeded what I expected- off the roof and definitely iconic and badass xD
The minor characters are also the bomb. Khaimook & Praphrae are the kind of friends you would want to keep- funny, honest, gutsy, and insanely loyal. Never a dull moment since episode 1.
Even P’Jam is so motherly both to Duchess and the rest of her boardmates. You find she really cares about them as she is strict in imposing her rules especially about boys, even when it’s people she knows. And her son Sky is hilarious and you’ll find him empathic and sensible in this episode, since Krathing is his tutor he has a lot of exposure. As it turns out he knows Krathing’s history all along. Khunkhao is really a sweet cousin/person over-all. His plot twist was astonishing I’m not sure if I should feel sorry for him XD
The midnight fantasy couple also has a cameo here. It’s all delightful!!!!
Over-all, it’s a cute fluffy hilarious drama. I’ve lost count as to how many times I’ve rewatched this. Really a worthwhile short series

Hands Down the Best "Girl Next Room" Story
This was my personal favourite Girl Next room story for many reasons. This was the first out of the four I watched and I can't say I was as impressed with the others. I loved the relationship between the FL and ML - cute, refreshing, and flirty banter with a hint of endearment. Off is also a very funny actor that made this series especially entertaining. If you are going to watch any of these I strongly suggest Richy Rich. I guess there is also hints of enemies to lovers but not much emphasis on the hate its kinda just teasing and annoying each other. It was also super short so definitely worth the rewatch because you don't need to have seen the other parts of girl next room for this story to make sense. Was this review helpful to you?
