Zhou Xue decides to visit the Scorpion's base, only to find it destroyed. Lao Wen secretly guesses that Changing Ghost, who was planning to rebel, had been the one to be behind it. He asks a hesitant Gu Xiang to retreat from Yueyang sect. Cao Wei Ning follows her out of fear that she might leave and offers to find the best doctors for Zhou Xu as he had heard that he was sick, but Xu informs him that he had resigned to live his last few days wandering the martial world with his soulmate and doing whatever he wants.
