Amazing Lakorn with the reality of today’s issue.
As someone who watched it from the first episode and waited for it every thursday and friday, i can tell that game of laws kept me going. There are a lot of action scenes which is the main reason i watched it for and it didn't disappoint me. As for the story, it became repetitive in the middle but still bearable to watch as everything still make sense. GOO never missed a single detail on the reality that people like those exist and at whatever cost, they'll do it with their way. Whether being the bad guy who don't care about everyone's life and the good guy taking the shortcut of saving everyone for the sake of humanity. So it's a 9/10 for me + The leads acting are so amazing!!Spoiler:
- Chart's death hurts me the most, my favorite character. It's so sad but given that his job is to protect everyone, he really did with the cost of his life. 3
- The Ending, If you're paying attention since the first episode, on the last scenes on the finale it was showed but still left unanswered on why nont and jen fought when nont already proposed to her on the beach. So it's either an open ending or there is a possibility of season 2 but on my perspective, s2 is not needed because they already solved everything. A special episode will do for it. But if nont really betrayed jen, idk where the story will go.
-Mavin and Lisa deserve a happy ending but maybe in another lifetime :((

Good acting but lots of plot holes
I honestly felt that I wasted my life watching this show. The cast is awesome, the acting is good, and the plot has great potential for a rich storyline. But at the end of the day, the entire show was mostly fighting scenes mish-mashed with lots of betrayal, switching of sides and most characters ended up dead. I do not see how there can be a season 2 with so many people dead and there is nothing to continue from. Some of the switching of sides do not make sense too – but in my opinion, this is just characteristic of Netflix shows that tries to insert in lots of twists and turns to keep people excited for the next episode and/or season.Lots of plot holes and missed opportunities for this drama ??? A Second Season?
I’m one of the viewers that had been waiting for this lakorn to air since 2020, during “My Forever Sunshine” era. Game of Outlaws or Game Lah Torrachon, is simply an outstanding action-packed lakorn with bittersweet romance.I had high expectations before it started airing, and yes, it reached my expectations. I love love LOVE how the production team, Metta Mahaniyom put their utmost efforts to deliver GLT, despite the lack of promotions from Channel 3.
Now I’m gonna put what I love & dislike about GLT into Pros & Cons categories. It’s gonna be a long review.
Pros:
1. The action is top-notch! My most favourite action scenes are Inspector Nont & Jennaree’s action scenes. I kept rewinding because their moves are too fast sometimes. I could tell that they were really trained for their fighting scenes, and you can watch Mark’s training/BTS videos on Metta Mahaniyom YouTube channel.
2. The romance. Oh God, I’m a sucker for romance, but not heavy romance. This one has bittersweet romance journey between the main couple, but it’s worth it. I won’t forget to mention that their kisses, OMG, for a moment I thought I was watching a lakorn from Channel 7, not Channel 3! Mark’s best kisses are, without a doubt, in GLT. It made the “slight romance” become satisfying for me.
3. The acting. As expected from the cast members that are mostly experienced, I could say that their acting is *chef’s kiss*, especially Taew’s. Her performance is spectacular! (PS: I’m not speaking as her fan here!). Ah, I think only the teen couple that really seems in acting, but it’s acceptable since their indeed new.
4. The chemistry. Should I even explain this? GLT isn’t Mark & Taew’s 1st lakorn together so their chemistry is highly satisfying. As for Top (Mavin) & Toon (Lisa), althought it’s their 1st time working together, they have great chemistry. And as for other cast members, they all go well with each other.
5. The quality. GLT is high quality in terms of production, sound effects, videography, props, etc. Simply said, it’s one of the rare Thai lakorns that makes me feel like watching a modern Kdrama. I hope more future lakorns will be produced with high quality like this one, following Metta Mahaniyom footsteps, no matter whether it’s action or other genre.
6. The storyline. Although some parts are repetitive, it makes sense in the end because everything here happens for a reason. Most scenes are necessary. No skipping unnecessary scenes for me, like what I did to most lakorns. This one is totally different.
7. The OSTs. I love all songs. Periodt.
8. Lastly, most of the time while watching GLT, I forgot that it’s a remake. It’s similar but so different, in a good way!
Cons:
1. The shooting scenes. Some shooting scenes look unrealistic, like shooting from far with just one hand. But eh, it’s still bearable for me.
2. Evil people are so hard to die LMAO. Especially Rita. Why is it so hard to see her getting even a slightest cut?! Sometimes I laughed because if this.
3. Sergeant Chart. No exact words to explain how I loved his character. He was one of my favourite characters, and they decided to kill him off, but fortunately, he died with honor.
4. Lisa & Mavin. Hmm, I didn’t really enjoy this pairing, but I certainly was hoping that none of them would die in the end (tho a part of me already had a feeling that it’d happen anyway). I’d say their deaths were unnecessary, if you asked me. But after all, GLT is a remake, so even tho the writer changed a few parts of the story, I think they decided to stick with “significant”/“important” parts of the original version.
5. Lastly, the ending. In my personal opinion, they should’ve just ended it with the beach scene, but I guess it’s still a GAME. If it ended at that confusing scene, I guess they wanted an open ending for our own imagination. But if I’m gonna be honest, I HATE open endings so I really hope they’ll give us a 2nd season! PS: But if there’s season 2, then most probably we won’t get to see Lisa & Mavin again. :(

Dropped. Messy story and draggy but one of Taew's best acting.
I don't know why I keep trying to watch a Thai lakorn that involves crime or some sort of mystery that needs to be solved. They usually follow the same formula where the main characters are never capable of solving anything and the villains have to reveal themselves toward the end. GLT is just that. I ended up dropping after watching episode 17. This is basically a cycle of a bunch of long action scenes that take up almost an entire episode and the main characters accomplished nothing and there is little progression. About half of the action scenes are people shooting everything and none of the villains ever die or get hurt. The villains always end up getting away. If you enjoy that kind of drama that will drag things out longer than it should, then you'll enjoy this. The best part of this drama is Taew's acting. I thought she did a really good job and this is one of her strongest performances. Mavin was also one of the characters that kept me going with this drama. He had an interesting story and was a more multidimensional character than the male lead. I wished we saw more of his rise to power and why his people are so loyal to him. I also enjoyed his relationship with his niece. I wished this drama had been around Mavin and Jen...
The sister relationship sorta lost its meaning as the drama progressed. That is a shame. Since I didn't finish, I have no idea how their relationship got resolved.
I enjoyed Chart and Singh as characters, and the relationship development between Ravee and Anya was surprisingly cute.
Everybody else was just meh to me. The villains were unconvincingly strong and they were all one-dimensional.
Overall, it could be entertaining but it was also frustrating to watch. I would have liked shorter action scenes and more development of characters and the plot. 5/10

Had Low Expectations, but Won my Heart a Sprinkle Bit :)
Firstly, I watched this drama for my girlie, Taew. Also, for the MarkTaew pairing since I LOVED Rak Nakara. I did not watch this for the storyline, genre or anything related to that.STORY: Since, I didn’t really choose to watch this, I just watched it to support TAEW and MARKTAEW, I guess the story is ok. It’s not something I’d necessarily watch. But it ended up good to see how the story went. I am still confused at all the action parts, but overall there is nothing wrong with the story. It is fine, and is a good ride. I do love the sister rivalry in this! If there is anything I dislike about the story, it’ll be the slight romance. I wish there was more romance, but this was not really about that.
ENDING: I don't know why they put that type of ending. I would've loved for GLT to end at the beach. I personally liked the whole ep 19, it was so good. I wonder if they'll keep it an open ending or have a season 2.
ACTING/CAST: WOW, I think all the actors and actresses did amazing in this! It felt very real! 10 for the hard work everyone put into this!
Mark: Ok, I am not a fan of Mark, but every time I watch him, he always seems to try to win my heart or something. He is so handsome, and I forget that it's "MARK" acting in here. I really thinks it's his character. He is a great actor, and really great at portraying his characters to the point I don't even recognize him. Even my most favorites, Nadech and Taew can't trick me to the extent he does. So, great job Mark!
Taew: This is Taew's first BIG action. She's been in a few, but it's sort of like hald action or she doesn't fight - So, I am so proud and impressed of my girl's acting in here! She can do incredible things!
Rita: She scared me since ep 1. Her knives and aggers are really something. I'm always wondering through the story when they will catch or kill her. She really scares me. I cannot watch her at the night, so I skip her scenes. She's great though.
Ravee and Unya: They were literally my favorites. Loved following their love story
Mavin and Lisa: didn't really like them at first, but towards the end I loved them. I wish they both would've lived.
MUSIC: I loved loved loved Gam’s “I Give In” ost. I also loved “Promise” ost. They were both great for the romance side of the drama. The main song was okay, not that good though, in my opinion. I didn’t really like it. I think the main song fit into the drama well. But the other two were kind of not really fitting in because this drama is just slight romance. But love the other two romantic ones though, but it just didn’t feel very right. But they are both a little sad, so that touches it up. In the end, I gave it a 10 because “I Give In” and “Promise” are so catchy and pretty! I love Gam as a singer, too.
REWATCH VALUE: Um, I don’t think I'll ever visit this drama again. My rewatch value for this is very low. I may watch an episode or two or a scene or two. 4.0
OVERALL: (7.5) I think I would've rated it a little lower, maybe a 7.88 to be exact, but I wanted to be nice. (I might edit or change my thoughts or ratings later though) This drama is not rushed, draggy, or boring in any way. I enjoyed the speed. I actually had very low expectations for this, but it did win my heart a little. Just a little tiny bit though. I do recommend because this is enjoyable. I enjoyed it, but didn't necessarily like it much. Finally, this is a good ride, come join along the Game of Outlaws!

Because of ending, there must be season 2
Drama is good . It went with a fast pace . No boredom ,story went smoothly . But ending made me confused . So many questions arise , Is there any sesaon2 . What is that love proposal at beach and on other side they started fighting with each other so there is some twist in the story and Nont deceived her . Why director gives such ending ,is he left us to think what would the ending or there is going to be season 2. So interestingly story was going ,felt bad to see the death Lisa and Mavin but atleast one couple got the happy ending but the end ..... If there is no season 2 then story disappointed me .Was this review helpful to you?

Pretty good but first leads were awful
This show had an interesting plot. The fight scenes were excellent. Some of the characters were very interesting. I liked the show enough to continue to the second to last episode. But I couldn't bring myself to watch the last one because of the ridiculous ending I saw coming.I think the main pitfall for me with this show, which happens too often is I did not find the main leads likable. I found them really self-centered and hypocritical. Even Mark Prin's hotness couldn't save him in my eyes. And the female lead seemed to think pf herself as the ultimate martyr. Every time she said "Leee-sa" and threw on puppy dog eyes it was like nails on a chalkboard.
I would watch a second season though if they were not in it.

And there is Jacqueline Muench!:) Last time I saw her was in 'Rabam Mek' (which I dropped) and this sadly was like a deja-vu for me, as in this series, she AGAIN first appears after long screentime has passed, again as a side-girl, again in some nightclub scene. Sigh.
In short, opening credits epic music sound way bigger than the actual content following, and each cast member has the more screentime the less I wish to see them and vice versa. Then again, which series it was NOT like that? lol.
Second episode, I started to be bit annoyed with the opening credits: I already knew what should really await me after them. Also, I realized I don't like any crime/action element in my lakorns, really. I am not interested in plots about drug cartels (whether they are written by good writer, or lakorn writer, or former pra'ek, like here). I am not impressed with tiny girls trying to look badass as police officers. They are about as credible as Prin Suparat, lol. In short, a simple romance lakorns which are good are GREAT in compare to badass "crime lakorns" that try so much to look cool.
A single episode runtime is unsufferable and number of episodes is too much, also. I considered dropping this. Maybe, watching the opening credits ONLY was the best, lolz.
I decided to finish the very long (like a movie) second episode and then... decide. Technical prob appeared before that happened so I did not bother to watch it again for the rest (I think I managed about an hour of it).
