I won't say much to this, but it is really really really well done.
Since I can't come up with negatives, I won't be using my usual review format.
This series the acting, the music and the story is really well done.
The actions of the characters are relatable and its just so touching.
Especially the dialogue flows really well between our two main characters.
It really hooks one from the first episode to the last.

The setting is also pretty and yes I know the setting is placed in school, but its really not a cliche.
Both actors are really handsome and even if I dont think that should be a deciding criterium, it is really nice to look at.

My recommendation : Watch it :) Support it.

They made a Korean BL series with a healty relationship, likeable characters with a lot of chemistry and good acting? That also had a happy ending? Will miracles never end?

When I first saw it's gonna be master- servent type of relationship I was like not again! I hate those relationships cuz one partner has more power then the other and treats the other partner so badly but somehow in the end they are in love. Its not a healty relationship at all. That why this drama surprised me. It may have a master- servant type of relationship but that's not the feeling I got. Like they were so much more and they saw each other as equals, there was respect.
Sure the plot was a bit predictable but it still was enjoyable and beautiful. I had to wait so many years to get this kind of good drama. It was worth it.
Can we now make one with 30 min ep? Or 16 ep? I hope there will be more fantastic dramas with healty relationships like this, in the future with all my heart!

Korea rarely makes BL dramas, furthermore a BL drama that has a happy ending. Although Fantagio Entertainment said that this drama is just "bromance", anyone who has eyes can clearly see that the couple is more than just bromance. (Fantagio, you clown) This just highlights the Korean's mindset towards LGBTQ+ community/ couples/ people.

I really enjoy the drama. The story did not include too much angsty scenes which can cause the drama to be draggy. At the same time, the story did not include too little angsty scenes for the drama to be boring. The story may be a little bit slow to some viewers, but the drama managed to showcase the thoughts and self-doubts of the characters on their way of becoming a couple that is not widely accepted in the society. It portrays a realistic approach and problems in relationships.

I like how at the ending of each episode, there will be different songs played. And all of the songs have nice melodies too. I can see my future self rewatching the drama countless of times. Even though the drama consists of only 8 episodes (it may be insufficient episodes for some viewers), I am able to finish this drama when I am having a break on school days.

Our wish came true

"Where your eyes linger" has instantly become my favorite BL drama as soon as I've finished it. Yes, you have read it right and I'll try to remain calm while I write my review I promise :)

The story is honestly good, it starts light and then goes more and more serious. Their acting is so great, it really looks, sounds authentic and real which is perfect! Their chemistry is such a precious gift for us. I like every single episode, not once I was thinking about dropping it.
The OSTs are all splendid, it is perfect, it fits the drama, it goes so well with the drama and it is such a pleasure to hear those good songs.
The fact it is short also makes the rewatch value high because it makes it easier to rewatch and I'm enjoying re-watching the drama again and again. But I also have to say that the fact it is short is both good and bad at the same time because I would like a season two, or a remake with longer episodes, and others South Korean BL dramas because it's really great and promising :)

As expected from South Korea, this BL drama is very good. For a first BL drama, South Korea has set the bar high, and I'm not exaggerating. It's really promising! This drama literally makes me so happy, it's a pure blessing from heaven so thank you very much to the cast, to the singers, to the producers, to all the people who have worked on it, to the staff, to everyone :')

Short But Filled With Awesome

This was probably the shortest Asian series I’ve ever watched. Definitely the shortest Kdrama - even shorter than Boys’ Archery Club! And because of that, there was little time and space for background info on the leads. I would’ve loved to learn more about Tae Joo’s family, about why his father was so hard on him and what happened to his mom; and also about Kang Gook’s family since we didn’t get any info on them at all; and about how they met too, how they got to live alone together in that luxurious house...

But despite that, I did love what we got, given the time restraints. The way music was used to enhance scenes, the inner thoughts etc., this reminded me more of Jdramas than Thai BL dramas. It felt like we were supposed to read between the lines in places, to figure their past ourselves. As a fanfic writer, I love it this way because it allows you to fill in the missing pieces yourself, it gets your brain going, it makes you think.

Also, considering this was one of the very first actual gay Kdramas ever, I have to shower them with kudos for choosing to give the boys their happy ending instead of going all dark and gloomy in the name of art or real life tragedies or whatever. That was a really nice surprise!

This is the first korean BL series that made me scream everyfriday night because the chemistry is really on point and even though they don't have enough budget they managed to make it high quality. I'm really impressed to korean drama now they made a good BL series I'm loving them more. I hope we get a season 2 and with a longer episodes huhuhu I will miss them. Please support this and watch this because this really shows that the korea is becoming more open minded( I hope) hehehehehe

The actors acting was really unbelievably good since they don't have much dramas, they even made me cry because they really show the character well I'm impressed with Gi chan(tae joo) I hope he gets more drama because he deserve it!!!

Why 10/10? This story has it all. I really love watching it.
Reason:-
1. The cast is really good. The acting was on spot. Ha gi chan and Jang eui soo made me love them through this. I know a little about acting but this drama made my feel stuffy during some points. It was great to see the chemistry of the actors

2- The plot line is so good that it even felt it was real.

3- The Ost actually defined the drama if you hear carefully. It was so nice that honey was dripping from my ears.

There are so many good points in this drama that I can't even describe properly. So I really recommend people to watch this. It is really wonderful. I am sure if you watch it once you would want to watch it again and again.
Lastly I want to thank you for bearing with me since english is not my first language.

I am shocked this hasn't been rated higher but I assume it's mostly because the series is so short with only 8 episodes all 10mins long. And the fact it has only just aired but despite these facts this has to be THE best BL show I have watched in a while.
1. The acting is amazing - The 2 MLs have perfect chemistry and deliver so much depth to their character despite not being able to get full background stories due to how short the series is.
2. The story is actually good. I actually enjoyed the story and the way just it was filmed it was aesthetically pleasing and even moments of silence and stillness added to the story.
3. A good ending. I won't spoil what happens but as us BL watchers know Happy endings can be taken from us often but in this one even without knowing what is fully going to happen the ending is satisfying.
I hope for another season of this drama and I hope that future Korean BL can follow in it's footsteps.
I hope that this does really well in Korea itself so we can start a new precedent with BL and FL dramas

Thank you VIKI, thank you 한기찬 and thank you 장의수. I loved this series. From start to finish, I enjoyed the journey. Each week I patiently waited for new episodes and their translation. The soundtrack, the cinematography, the script, the directing, everything was superb. MOST IMPORTANTLY, though, special mention must go to Jang Eui-su and Han Gi-chan for their outstanding acting. They were 100% believable and gave their all to their characters. For too long, gay men and women have had to sit on the sidelines where they have often been regarded as damaged goods that weren’t made quite right. As the world is now starting to realise, though, being gay is just another possibility of what it means to be a normal person. To me, Han Gi-chan and Jang Eui-su are heroes. In lots of ways, South Korea in 2020 still seems to look at gay people a bit strangely and, because of this, these men must have thought long and hard about taking on gay roles. I am so glad that they were brave and that they did. They will make a difference right across the world. I highly recommend this short and extremely well produced BL drama. 감사합니다 And to the translation teams… 1,000,000 x “thank you” because without you, I could not have enjoyed this wonderful creation.

Happy and satisfied. That’s what I felt after watching this drama. The only complaint I have about this is that it’s super short...but it’s somehow still executed better than most 16 episode dramas. I couldn’t wait to watch the next episode and I didn’t want it to end (I demand a season 2).

The chemistry between the main leads was freakin amazing I was melting every time they even LOOKED at each other. For this to be Han Gi Chan’s first drama!? He SLAYED.

This just shows that when South Korea finally breaks out of their shell, they can create something that is absolutely amazing. I feel bad if this is someone’s first BL because everything after it won’t feel the same. This just sets the standards too high.

I started this drama because its very rare for Koreans to produce a BL series. It's usually kinda awkward, lousy acting. But this one is really good. I was astonished with the acting by leads especially HGC considering its his first acting venture. JES has an attractive aura which will make you want to see him more.
Story wise, I feel it was a bit cliche, a bodyguard and master falling in love was no surprise but the way they executed it was amazing. A mediocre story was uplifted with good acting, direction.
The part which surprised me the most was the kiss. I know it's common in BL when the leads kiss, but we need to keep in mind that this was a Korean BL where people have still not accepted LGBTQ community wholeheartedly.
Supporting cast did a pretty descent job. I have no complaints about the length of the drama. I think it was a great idea to keep it short rather than dragging it. Kuddos to the entire team!!
Music played a major role in excelling the drama. In future, if they plan to make a BL, I hope they focus more on real world problems rather than only romance factor between the leads.
